13This is a text-only list of the songs on the now numerous Driving Game pages.
Each round of the game gets its own post and a link to that round’s page.
This will help avoiding duplicates now that the game has continued past 15 rounds.

For any future editors/maintainers, here is my template:‘’‘’
Some editing tricks (using vim, of course):
Cut and paste the text into vim, and position at first line.
Then it is a matter of joining lines and editing the comments, followed by:
YW.
Those line edit commands specify a range from the current line to the end of the file, so they should start with “.,$”, not “,$”.
I ran out of time in the editing window.
And I turn the link in the heading into a link.

I did mine using the mehdown commands (pipe) for tables and doing a drag and drop from one screen to the next set up side-by-side. I hand typed the user names, which wasn’t too hard, just had to watch the capitalizations…
Did the initial creation using a word doc, then just cut and pasted into a post.

Absolutely no problem! I was only hoping to help fill the gap because I was sure that you were otherwise occupied. I’ll be happy to catch us up to where we are now if you want. If things are peaceful tonight I’ll try and do one or two at work.
@chienfou I use VIM (www.vim.org) because it’s trivial to use regular expressions to strip the noise and prep the results into a table in mehdown syntax.

Since the stated purpose for this list is to make it easier to search for keywords to ensure you don’t post a song that has already been used, keeping it as one loooong thread will actually be easier to search then breaking it into smaller ones. Since it is text only it should load pretty quickly even at this length.
IF you are having trouble with the load times let us know and I (or mike808) can start a new one.
@chienfou Well, it still loads okay, but when you search for a name, it just brings up the list, not a specific location in it. So then you have to scroll through it. Or am I doing it wrong?

Oh WOW… try this:
Open the “cheat sheet” link in a browser then use the “Find in Page” option to find the key word. It should highlight each incident of the word.

type in https://meh.com/forum/topics/driving-game-cheat-sheet and open that site. (or navigate to meh.com and click links until you get to the cheat sheet.)
use the “find in page” option at the top right (click the 3 stacked dots to get the option to drop down.)

Yes, I did know that was a screenshot. But I don’t think I can do that stuff on my iPhone in Safari. So I’ll have to try it on the laptop, unless someone else knows how to do it in Safari.

Tap in the address bar and enter the text you’re looking for, and pick the “On This Page” option.

I didn’t even realize you could choose your header image. That would have been nice to know for some of the other topics I have created…
@chienfou You can’t set it (at least on a mobile device) when you create the topic. You have to edit the topic after you create it and then you can edit the header image url. You still have the normal edit window time limit, so have your image url ready!

Cheat sheet formating
Line 1
**Game XXX**This creates a sort of title in bold.
Line 2
Link: [Game XXX][1]Gives the link it’s own line which is nice.
Line 3 and 4
Creates our top line (in bold) and sets the stage for the rest of the table. I think the 4th line is what you’ve been missing.
Each line following 4 should be just like you’ve been adding.
Pipe, user, pipe, song, pipe.
Note, that there is no need for blank lines to this point. Just one after the next.
When you have the full list of tracks in place, you’ll want to return 3 times to create 2 blank lines and then write “End Game XXX” and then BE SURE there are 2 blank lines before the URL. Removing those blank lines will break formatting as well.
Full post in edit will look like this:

@Yoda_Daenerys You (or anyone) can just copy and paste the code block example of a full post and replace the 3 song lines with the full list, and swap XXX for the game number in each of the 4 places it appears (title, link, end game, and URL) so you don’t have to do any of the setup bit.
