Driving Game (Part 42)
4If you’re new to the Driving Game, you can just look back at the start of it all here in Part 1 for the full rules.
Please consider the kind folks who maintain our cheat sheet and add your post in the format of “Artist Name - Song Name” followed by a link to the song on the next line. That way they all look the same and it’s easier on the Cheat Sheet team when it’s time to update that list.
Speaking of the Cheat Sheet… The full history of our game, with links to each of the past threads, can be found on the Driving Game Cheat Sheet. Use that to avoid getting vetoed by a duplicate.
Have fun!

Heart - Magic Man
Dupe from Game 2 (chienfou)…I only remembered because I was going to use it and looked it up last night . It’s like deja vu
@llangley
Actually it’s the third time … but a new participant so I didn’t want to be discouraging!
/youtube Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour
@Kyeh I’m shocked this one hasn’t been used before!
The Beatles remind me of HS days for some reason. IDK why, maybe because that’s when I sketching their portraits.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Lynnerizer I was surprised too!
@Kyeh @Lynnerizer
I have been shocked at some titles that are just now being mentioned. It gives me hope that I can continue to come up with stuff into the future…
U2 - Mysterious Ways
Waylon Jennings - I’m a ramblin’ man -
@Grumman connection?
@Grumman @Yoda_Daenerys Yeah, I’m not seeing any connection here…
@ExtraMedium @Grumman @Yoda_Daenerys I figured it was “Way”…

The B-52’s - Roam
Vetoed the track above and connected back to U2 - Mysterious Ways (U2 and B-52 are both military aircraft)

Cheat Sheet Up to Date thru Game 41
By the way… congrats to all those who have stuck it out and kept playing. A quick estimate of our run shows about 2500 titles played!!

@ircon96 a soundtrack from my high school days…blasted loud on a Pioneer 8-track, skipping school to go surfing or “whatnot”
@llangley I can’t think of a better soundtrack for such shenanigans! I would have just been starting 1st grade when this came out, but I’ve always had an appreciation of all kinds of 70s music, probably a lot of it via osmosis from my older brother.

@ircon96
How the heck did you find THAT?!
@ircon96 It’s hilarious - is he a New Hampshire guy?
@Kyeh According to his bio, he grew up in Maine, but he started out playing on street corners while working on the seacoast of NH & Maine, so pretty much the same thing. I first saw him on a local newsmagazine show a couple of years ago. I included the link to the clip if you’re interested. He seems very entertaining, & his regular music sounds good, too.
