Driving Game (Part 25)
3Original Explanation:
Basic Rules: Follow the posted music video with a different song, band, or musician tied directly to the previous post.
Example: I post Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal.
You could then post Michael Bolton, Jackson Browne, Outcast - Ms. Jackson, Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal, Fun Lovin Criminals…
Create a new comment for your submission and leave replies just to talk about the comment’s connection or validity.
You can veto if you don’t agree that there’s a connection. In that case, you can post your own connection to the previous song or @ the person you’re vetoing and tell them they need to make the connection clear or replace it. No hard feelings, either way, we’re just having fun sharing music. Note: If someone has already made a new connection to the song you want to veto, you missed your chance and the song stands. You can still let the person know where you found the problem and maybe they can clear things up.
The full history with links to each of the past threads can be found on the Driving Game Cheat Sheet.

@chienfou Not exactly a dupe.
Waylon Jennings version back in Game 10.

Electric Six - “Danger! High Voltage”
If you haven’t heard this before, you’re welcome. Also, for those who don’t know, the second voice is not the woman in the video, but it is in fact Jack White of The Raconteurs and The White Stripes. Love this one.

Double, woohoo!
Kacey Musgraves - Rainbow
Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwoʻole - Somewhere over the Rainbow
From wiki:
The song was originally recorded in a spur-of-the-moment demo session in 1988. Israel called the recording studio at 3 am, and was given 15 minutes to arrive by recording engineer Milan Bertosa. Bertosa recalled, “Israel was probably like 500 pounds. And the first thing at hand is to find something for him to sit on." The building security found Israel a large steel chair. “Then I put up some microphones, do a quick sound check, roll tape, and the first thing he does is ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow.’ He played and sang, one take, and it was over.”

(Yötam Romano remix from Tomorrowland 2012!)
Tomorrowland is livestreaming and replays for the next three weekends. AVB, DV&LM, deWitte, Maceo Plex, and more. Main stage and Atmosphere streams with other stages relived in between.

Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown - Got My Mojo Workin’
RIP, Gatemouth. He was a fixture in the New Orleans blues scene, was featured on the 2005 Congo Square Jazz Fest poster, and passed shortly after Katrina in September.
The Jackson 5 - I Want You Back
@ExtraMedium
I don’t get it - what’s the link?
@Kyeh Wow, 13 minutes difference in my reply and Mike’s but I could have sworn I was the follow-up to Jackson Browne. Missed the veto but it certainly would have been deserved.
@ExtraMedium Oh, okay - I didn’t open the comments to see the post above mike’s so I was just puzzled. I’m not a stickler about this myself.
Mal Blum - I Don’t Want To
/youtube Fall Out Boy : I Don’t Care
Phil Collins - I Don’t Care Anymore
Nina Simone - Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood
Communards - Don’t Leave Me This Way
The Communards singer is Jimmy Somerville of Bronski Beat’s Small Town Boy fame. Insane, sustained, and maintained falsetto voice that Maroon 5’s Adam Levine wishes he had.
