@sohmageek - Jeopardy was pretty great, but probably labor intensive, right?

@sohmageek I really enjoy the quick rounds but the jeopardy game yesterday was great!!

@sohmageek Also, I like the extended ones that aren't frantic - The story one was fun like that.

@sohmageek - Some version of 20 questions maybe? Or that could be a timing nightmare with everyone asking/answering at once.

@KDemo The hardest part was getting the question/answers together. I still have to add points up.

@sohmageek How about trivia questions without the whole Jeopardy set-up - all correct answers could have the same value?

@KDemo 20 Q's would have to be a team thing... Where I had 4 Objects at once... And people would have to post in their own team's spot... but then that makes the competitive not work so well... Oh maybe have steals if someone guesses before the 20 questions is up, another team could steal... then continue on with Q's. Maybe each Q you have left is a multiplier on the points... You have me thinking... I may have to get this going. Then people would have to make sure they are on the correct teams... Also... I have to assign teams... I think I'm tallying up points tonight.

@sammydog01 I think it was a dr who reference. Because he is constantly saying the maths teacher BF is a PE teacher.

@christinewas I haven't watched Dr Who since Tom Baker. I guess I should start.

@sohmageek the simpler and clearer the rules, the better. That's part of what was so great about jeopardy. The 20 questions thing already has my head spinning.

I think a lot of us love math. The haters are just a lot more vocal. Maybe you could make it part of a game (like another jeopardy game).

@christinewas I think there are more word people than number people. And even fewer that are both word and number people like you ;-)

I have a personal theory about the aversion to numbers that many share:
Parents who counted as a reprimand.
Do you want me to count?

@KDemo My mom just ranted on, so word aversion? And I would bet that there are more number people on this website. We need a poll.

@sohmageek What about a simplified, multiple choice, family feud type thing using old meh surveys? Each person picks an option in the time allowed before you post the answers. (Posting the answer makes an easy cutoff to go back and tally points.) Answers are rewarded based on the percentage of people who answered the survey that way. The first person with the top (most popular) answer gets double/triple points for that answer, but duplicate submissions still count. This prevents answer editing like we had in hangman. And EVERYONE gets points for participating, even if they can't quite keep up with the insanely fast people.

@sammydog01 - Well, you may be right, I seem to be alone here defending the number-phobics.

@sohmageek Another thought that you will probably hate but some people might like would be... football things. But I won't elaborate on those options unless that's something you want to try.

@sohmageek - You're doing it right! You're using it in a good way instead of something negative. I was half joking, but that's kind of my point, you're giving Raylan a positive association with numbers.

@KDemo I also figure if he can remember something good happens when 3 comes up, When I count for bad reasons he may end up remembering something good comes up at 3, and he'll stop what he's doing to get the something good. That is my thought process...

@sohmageek That's more of a "Share the coffee-enabling bad news" thing than a football thing.

@jaremelz Haha. I haven't missed the fact that you joined the pick'em league. You're clearly not as football-averse as you like to think you are.

@christinewas I was temporarily drawn to the dark side by forces that I'm now much stronger against.
I hate how I used to be with football, I won't go back!

@sohmageek - That first one where we had to figure out the clues to get your email was awesome as well. It was exactly the right level of difficulty to make most of us work for it.
I'd love more like that.

@kadagan I'm single daddy this week to my 1 yr old son. I have new respect to single parents. Wife gets home on Friday!

@sohmageek ahh, that makes sense. Good luck!! I leave my wife in that situation (with TWO you kids!) way more than I would like due to work travel.. I haven't ever had more than a day to watch them by myself, so I guess I'm pretty blessed :)

@kadagan It's only a week... so it's not that bad. But... I'm ready for her to come home!
