Energizer 1200W Generator & 200W Solar Panel Bundle

  • Tons of power on board. Basically a gigantic power bank.
  • Solar panel actually included. (200 watts)
  • This is usually like $1600 retail.
  • Can it make a margarita? It can keep the margarita party going long after the power goes out.

For the Few

This is… not cheap.

But it’s also not particularly fun.

You probably didn’t see this and then feel your heart skip a beat because it’s the one item you didn’t get from your Christmas list the other day.

(We’re kind of killing it on this write-up, aren’t we?)

But for all of the not fun, not exciting, and not sexy that this offer represents, it is still a hell of a deal for a certain sophisticated, dare we say enlightened, sort of shopper.

That’s because this is one of those unrepentantly adult purchases generally reserved for people who really have their acts together and are ready to start planning ahead for real world problems that go far beyond Meh’s usual wheelhouse of wireless speakers and deeply discounted Ramen noodles.

After all, personal audio and ramen are fairly immediate needs with generally foreseeable implications. They’re not exactly deeply integrated into your emergency management planning. (The noodles might be. The probably shouldn’t be…)

But no. That’s not this deal. This deal—more than a few bucks, we realize—is all about prior planning for events that may be personally catastrophic or may never happen at all. We’re talking about preparing you for power outages, localized apocalypses, and off-grid excursions both planned and unplanned.

We assure you that you are saving a TON of money here compared to retail. Go ahead—check. We ain’t skerd. (Editor’s Note: Don’t start that.)

We’re also including the solar panel instead of doing that usual trick of ours where we either throw one up on SideDeal concurrently or else send you on a scavenger hunt across the broader internet to find one for your damn self. That means that once you’ve exhausted the substantial on-board power of this thing, you can point that sucker at the sun and resume Candy Crush or whatever other survival activities you need to get through the day and/or the end of the world.

This is some serious gear, is all we’re saying. And it obviously isn’t a purchase for everyone. So even if you aren’t going to grab this bad boy right here right now, we’d like you to at least give some thought to what you’ve bought here in the past that was reasonably responsible, or suggest some things that might make that happen in the future. Let’s hear what you have to say, over on the forum.

See ya’ll at the end of the world!
