Their new homepage still has a number of issues - primarily it is way too “busy” in how it is laid out. They must be trying to catch the attention of toddlers (oh wait - they might think some of us act like we are toddlers , under “community” - I totally skip reading that now and used to read it when it was a list, colors - there are too many and type color and background color sometimes make it very hard to read the words; there are many things in really small type (like maybe 8 point?) that too small to read in this new version (there was less that was too small to read in the old version) by anyone who requires bifocals (which would be a sizable chunk of their membership, the programers must not need them yet), clickable links aren’t necessarily obvious like clicking on community since they trained us to click on buttons, sometimes you can’t read the words due to failure to have decent contrast between the font color and the color of what it is put on top of (good thing I am not color blind as a as they don’t think about that - 1 in 12 men are and 1 in 200 women are).
They have improved some/most of their earlier mess with that though. I am still finding some layout issues on my phone (for example the left side the edge of the first word is off the screen so I have to slide right to see it - the left side is OK EXCEPT the faces don’t all fit in the background - today dark blue - rectangle and are partly on the - today light blue - to the right of that box) but that mess has been improved.
@mycya4me There were sporadic script failures prior to the major reworks as well, but those bobbles usually got caught pretty quickly. I think that there was one specific staffer who was usually watching for them and fixing it, and who is currently away for personal reasons or some such. At some point, I’m sure things will get back to some level of normal either through software updates or personnel involvement. Writing the poll takes more humor than I could bring to bear reliably. (I"m sure there are plenty of people here who willingly will attest to my not being safe to let loose in that area.)

It’s the poll discussion threads that have been missing. I asked about it and dave himself said they’re working on it.
@Kyeh@mycya4me We had the polls themselves evaporate a few times, too. But yeah, you right, lately it’s the autogenerated topic with results that has been bobbled, and it takes a staffer with The Knowledge to build one of those.

I too have noticed the comment section has been missing. I think their programmer must’ve deleted or disabled some code.
