This is pretty much the machine that made Cuisinart a major brand name, at a 1999 price. It doesn’t do everything, and there are places where a blender or a Kitchenaid is going to do a better job, but unless you’re a five-tools-and-one-knife kitchen minimalist, it’s somewhere close to a must-have. (Not all the way there, though.)

It says dicing on the main page, but there’s no evidence that it does just that. Is that a misnomer for slicing?
@zxinfinity you’re correct - no explicit dicing feature. You can pulse it to get an imprecise dice though… I am going to modify that line
Is there a recipe in the book for a leftover turkey and dressing smoothie?

@phendrick If there is, I know at least three people into whose hands this book must not fall.
@mcanavino Thank you, except you left out the bourbon, which should be mandatory with the turkey.

If my ~25 year year old Cuisinart wasn’t still going strong, I’d buy this in a heartbeat.
@scottvs Got a DLC-7 here. It’d be 40 years old next year.
