I stay in lurker mode almost all of the time. I'd say that most form members haven't a clue about my past days of smart-assery, torches, pitchforks, and crab attacks. I try to cycle through the forum every few days or so to keep up with the tomfoolery (and doing a rotten job of it. Jeesh, they're a chatty bunch!). I do check the daily offering because I'm a sucker for a good deal on stuff I really don't need but can't pass up. I do a horrible job of clicking on those little Faces of Meh, but in my defense, some days it's all I can do to remember to put on my panties before I walk out the door. Luckily, the breeze clues me in before I get too far to my car.

@Shrdlu, you should be told upfront the dangers of playing on the Meh playground. It's possible to contract the singularly odd case of Goat-of-the-Month. Usually, the wittiest amongst the forum participants are the surest ones to contract this bit of awfulness. Be very careful, my friend!

The best parts of the old Deals have found their way here. Bless their hearts, I think half of them are a bubble off of plumb! Ya got yer usual crazies, then there's the "no red, but Georgia Red," the lovers of all things purple, teh kitteh lovers, the GIFsters, the punsters, the Koreans, the poor schmucks who fall victim to that awful Meh Temptress with her siren song of "buy me...you need me," only to regret it later, and the speaker docks. Dear God. So many speaker docks.
I forgot to mention how the questionable & odd gadgets are frighteningly low priced. Stupid low for stupid me! They've got my number! Lots and lots of gadgets-- way too many of which have shown up at my house. STILL haven't figured out what I'm going to do with THREE of those Xpress Contertop Cookers. Although, I do have a few in-laws that I'm not too terribly fond of and Christmas is coming...

I know I'll use all four of those Ken Onion Poop Knives I ordered as gifts (that's what they're referred to here on the homestead because they look like, well, poop, but really NICE poop) and this house can never have enough AA batteries (we could use some AAAs. Ahem.) That enormous box of Built Neoprene sleeves (thank god I didn't say "bath!" Yeah, don't ask,) I palmed off almost all on my father to give away to friends.

Yeah, I'm around standing on the sidelines not getting half the jokes here, but I lurk because it makes me so glad to see the rebirth of a quality idea supported by good people, and to know no one is being forced to eat octopus for breakfast. Any one from the South will understand what I mean by "good people." They truly are the very definition.

Good grief! Someone turned on the LaVikinga spigot and it's overflowed the bs bucket! I'm comfortable being stuck on Lurker Mode for now, mainly because too lazy to figure out how to properly post pictures, GIFs and the like on the threads. (heh, just like I do on reddit)

Uh-oh, you got me started. For the last several weeks, I've been voting up the staff deals (poor @faughtey is one of the few with a badge, still posting), and those folks who are posting, but are humans, who are making some minuscule pennies from click throughs (that's about another five). Then there's @wilfbrim, and his Audible posts, and the occasional thing from you.

I think I finally gave up this morning. I had been reading a missive from Valhalla (always nice to hear from the Viking), and honestly, I don't think I want to see the actual death throes any more.

I think the list of things removed that day included one Matchbox style Fighter jet, a small bottle of liquid foundation, a battery operated Little Mermaid Toothbrush, and one of those tiny little cameras that fit around the compact dog-bone looking photo film cartridges.
Oddly enough, as adults both kids have fantastic suitcase packing skills.
