The thing I bought the most of and thought was a great bang for the buck was the cheap ass Cheerson micro drones. So much fun.
The unique thing that comes to mind right now is the badass karaoke machine/vocal processor that does pitch correction and harmony if you want it. So impractical yet so gadgety.
I use my BioBidet every day. A game changer from scraping tree pulp across your bottom to smear it “clean” like a Neanderthal.
Runner up goes to not black or dark colored Meh T-Shirts. Anything besides black. Not everyone is a Goth or lives above the Arctic Circle. Some sand, sage, ocean colors, please.
Daily use - comforter, wireless charger, wet brush and backpack. The spinners have been fun. Still using some of the Built NY covers. Several shirts are in the round home pile. A few purchases are in the closet for “later” or tried once or twice then set aside.
I guess favorite goes to the backpack. I love the design. Comfortable and the compartments fit my use.
@cinoclav Oh man, I’ve been slowly breaking the rings off the lids of that set. I think I have one left intact. I should go find it and accidentally break off the ring!
@mossygreen You don’t need the packaging. You just need to send them pictures. They won’t cover accidental damage but if they’ve broken through normal use they should replace the lids. Worth a try anyway.
@jhinra My machine is in a box “somewhere” after I ran out of pods. I was intending to take it apart to see if it could be modified to be compatible with a different type of capsule, but seeing how I have over a dozen other ways to get my caffeine fix, it’s been a very low priority.
@jhinra@narfcake I still have two unopened/unused beer and wine kits for the same reason! By the time I actually make it the wine will be 5 years old before I start…
@Kyeh I sure did! I also bought one of those inflatable pool raft things with the built-in speakers and power bank…but haven’t even opened it yet! Haha
@PooltoyWolf Wow. And I thought it was all speakers and chargers and ear phones and the occasional ugly purse. Oh, and the Pixl trackers - the thing that got me started on Meh!
Hey @PooltoyWolf - question 1A - what do you recommend in terms of inflators? The air compressor on my old Stanley jumper seems to’ve died and I’m thinking something portable and not too heavy duty.
@PooltoyWolf - Sorry about the delay - I only blow up inflatables in the summer, but I inflate bicycle tires in the spring and fall, and on other unhappy occasions, car tires.
@aetris The reality is you really need two different devices for maximum efficiency. Car and bike tires are high pressure, low volume jobs, and pooltoys are the opposite - low pressure, high volume. Obviously an inflatable type air pump won’t be able to inflate a tire, and a compressor will take forever to blow up a pooltoy, and will also risk damaging the compressor or putting nasty stuff into the toy. For inflatable toys, I really like the EZ Inflate Extreme AC powered air pump, but really any similar unit will do. You want one that comes with a variety of inflation adapters, to suit different air valves.
Out of 72 orders placed there are several that stand out: Dopp Backpack (used it extensively on a trip to France right after I got it and several times travelling since) Martian Watch which I bought 2 different styles of on two different sales.
Several earbuds (like the Echobox Titanium ones recently) and headphones
But the ones I use the most regularly/get the most benefit from are
@OnionSoup Watch part on this one was a regular watch battery (2yrs life roughly) the “smart” features needed to be charged every few days, but if it was dead the watch was still great.
As far as getting my money’s worth, I would say it’s a tie between the Motif Essential coffee maker and the Ninja Foodie 8qt. The daily nod goes to the coffee maker, but the wife points definitely goes to the Ninja, so I guess that one wins. Though I do get a chuckle that the coffee maker is named “Essential”.
I use my refurb Toshiba Chromebook pretty much everyday and it still works great. Likewise the Panasonic cordless phone set. Last year I hurt my back and the Homedics TENS unit was a lifesaver over my six weeks of recovery.
In 4.5 years I have purchased 47 times on meh (plus a few odd times on morningsave.) Nothing compared to the numbers mentioned above. Scrolling through the list I’m pretty happy overall. Only 1 or 2 total duds. Right now my favorite is the Prima cold brew set. In constant use from spring through fall. And the Aerogarden. Been having a blast watching stuff grow. Never thought you could have too much fresh basil. But you can.
Fun stuff! I’ve most liked & used those 3-prong USB cords, a Shark handheld vac, and this simple little blanket that I love. Oh! And the fluffy comforters too.
Actually a lot of stuff!
Bidet and Sous Vide circulators - changing the quality of life from two different ends. Using moving water, oddly.
Honorable mention: Food saver, Martian Notifier watch (seriously), Floating leak sirens, Hepa Air filters.
Magformers and those Light up lunchboxes made me a hero to my granddaughters, which is a huge win.
The Fūl hard side luggage got rave reviews from my wife, which is also a win.
@mehcuda67 love my bidet and my sous vide. Don’t think I got either from Meh though… I think I got the bidet from Woot before Meh existed (or at least before I knew it existed)… Have a few sous vide I found through Slickdeals. One I got on clearance at Walmart for $7… Never opened. It’s a back up. I’ve found Sous Vide immersion heaters don’t last long.
Oddly I have had two foodsavers from Meh and never placed an order for one. They both came in Fukus. I used one, always intended to give the other away but never did. Finally after a few years of hard work the first one died… Which is fine because I had a second.
Gotta be the Trackr Pixels. Haha j/k it was the BioBidet
T-shirts.

Seconded on the BioBidet.

Third place goes to the Palm Coolers.
Crap I didn’t need
Given that I’ve purchased multiple l battery banks and Bluetooth speakers … I have to give the nod to catshirts.
@narfcake Which cat shirts? I’ve got the fat cat saying meh!
@jhinra Same ones! Also the write up is incorrect. I don’t wear catshirts everyday; only on days that end in ‘y’.
I’m wearing Cat Tree from the sister site Mediocritee today, though.
@jhinra @narfcake oh my gosh Narfy, that one is adorable!!
@narfcake you know, you could do a tshirt of the day thread similar to how @PoolToyWolf did a thread on inflatable!!!
@narfcake we are twinning today. I’m wearing the same.
@tinamarie1974 An entire month, I haven’t. Short attention span, y’know. I did substitute for a full day, though.
https://meh.com/forum/topics/20216-substitute-goat
@moonhat didn’t wear a mask to the grocery store.
@RiotDemon
@narfcake @tinamarie1974 So many squeaky toys…I miss April already, heh!
@narfcake @PooltoyWolf it was fun/interesting. You should do another month!
Oh how I miss the innocence of 2019 lol
Meh Pop sockets. Speaking of which, I need more!!
@cutiecupid15 me too!!

So many great things, but I am voting for the square surge protectors with USB slots or the off brand leak frogs!!
Considering I’m still using them almost every day 5 years later, I’m going with my Contigo Jackson bottles.
@cinoclav i don’t remember those…
@jimmyd103 They had them several times.
@cinoclav Oh man, I’ve been slowly breaking the rings off the lids of that set. I think I have one left intact. I should go find it and accidentally break off the ring!
@mossygreen It’s worth seeing if Contigo will cover them under their warranty.
@cinoclav Hmm, I don’t know. I don’t have the packaging or anything anymore.
@mossygreen You don’t need the packaging. You just need to send them pictures. They won’t cover accidental damage but if they’ve broken through normal use they should replace the lids. Worth a try anyway.

Definitely the bidet. I liked it so much I upgraded to a model that does hot water too
So many purchases, but the Polti Capri Espresso Machine with expired pods is my favorite. Second place is my MONSTER SUPERSTAR BLASTER bluetooth speaker, which is amazing for rocking a back yard beer. Third place is party bot, he always travels with me.
In terms of , three stick out:
@jhinra My machine is in a box “somewhere” after I ran out of pods. I was intending to take it apart to see if it could be modified to be compatible with a different type of capsule, but seeing how I have over a dozen other ways to get my caffeine fix, it’s been a very low priority.

The Built neoprene sleeves.

Gotta admit, that was a very
strangeunique (and fun) sale.Ughh, I’ll say Meh puck since it’s on my desk and I’m squishing it now.

/giphy irk
@ELUNO what a great show that was…
Probably the big blow up unicorn swim ring!
@PooltoyWolf You bought that from Meh?!
It seems they had funnier and more interesting stuff in the past.
@Kyeh
see below for examples of some of the cool stuff from ‘back in the day’…
@Kyeh There are lots of repeat item types, but there are also a fair number of unique products. I check every day LOL
Hey @PooltoyWolf - question 1A - what do you recommend in terms of inflators? The air compressor on my old Stanley jumper seems to’ve died and I’m thinking something portable and not too heavy duty.
@aetris Are you looking for something to blow up inflatables?
@PooltoyWolf - Sorry about the delay - I only blow up inflatables in the summer, but I inflate bicycle tires in the spring and fall, and on other unhappy occasions, car tires.

@aetris @PooltoyWolf
Thx
@PooltoyWolf - Thanks - looks like the EZ is OOS, but lots of similar options. The compressor is probably what I really need anyway.
@aetris @f00l NP
@aetris You’re welcome! Let me know if you need any more inflatable-related assistance
@aetris @PooltoyWolf
How do I inflate my brain?
What’s the best tool for that?
Thx in advance!
/giphy inflates brain
@aetris @f00l I’d start with Wikipedia’s ‘Random Article’ function!
@aetris @PooltoyWolf
You’re evil.
But, in a good way.

No love for Meh Face PopSockets?
Heathens, all y’all.
@mike808
had to go with the wireless charging instead.

And for sheer fun…
an IRK (that came with a bidet… so there’s that, too)
@chienfou I liked my Martian watches for a while. Eventually I got tired of having to keep charging them though so went back to regular watch.
@OnionSoup Watch part on this one was a regular watch battery (2yrs life roughly) the “smart” features needed to be charged every few days, but if it was dead the watch was still great.
@chienfou it wasn’t a bad watch but I found it a bit bulky if I wasn’t using it as a smart watch.
As far as getting my money’s worth, I would say it’s a tie between the Motif Essential coffee maker and the Ninja Foodie 8qt. Contigo coffee mugs
Oh and in an irk i got a foodsaver
Oh wow. I’m surprised at the number of orders I’ve placed over the years - 70. Top ones are Foodsaver, Shark Vaccuum, and a meh heathered t-shirt.
@jimmyd103 You’re surprised? I’m embarrassed.
“cinoclav is a hardcore meh fiend having placed 212 orders”
@cinoclav @jimmyd103 woot woot, 200+ orders gang checking in.
/giphy 200
@cinoclav @jhinra @jimmyd103 186 here; at least 30 shirts from Mediocritee, though. It’s probably best I do NOT count.
It’s knives - definitely knives. We need more knives.
@djames85 And speaker docks!
@cinoclav
@cinoclav Yes - indeed. Love the speaker docks

Pretty sure of #1…
…but #2 & #3 are too close to call…
#1 pop-sockets because
#2
because purple
@j2 I love purple.
Actually a lot of stuff!

I think it would have to be my purple Bluetooth speakerdock made of Candy corn that had a meh face on it.
The batteries in that thing lasted forever because I kept them in the fridge.
I bought a keysmart tile thingy and it’s great.
What,… no love for the “Schrödinger’s toothbrushes”…
(which I sadly missed out on)

Hat’s off to you
@chienfou @f00l @jsiwecki @tinamarie1974 ok, thanks? And what kind of response is “Y”?
@moonhat
you’ll have to wait another 4 years to find out!
2-PACK OF INSTACHARGE 4000MAH POWER BANKS
I went thru my purchase history and realized that I use this router every day, so gonna say it’s my fave.
