Look meh it’s been too many days without a response from the staff. I am determined and now my next mission is a Christmas list, sponsored by meh and presented by everyone who posts on my comment. Without further ado, I present the meh Christmas shopping list:
IRK Plushies, Mehgic 8 Ball (all responses some form of meh.), Squatty Potty (because we don’t have the fukubukuro anymore and our crap needs to go somewhere), AAA batteries, and poop meh emoji pillows.

Real question here…I need help with the sizes. My daughter and I both want the “loathing” shirt. I know what size I normally get, but I’m not sure what size I should get her in these newish Next Level shirts. She usually wears a junior’s medium in tops. Can someone help me out?
@PurplePawprints-I’ll give you a way out, but I’ll be your default answer. So, unless someone else that knows kicks in then a men’s med is probably just a little bit bigger, so I would get a Med. Now, some girls like a bigger tee, like wearing a boy’s shirt, so then buy a Large. Now, giving you a way out! If you take my advice & it’s too Large then you can blame it on me & curse me out, but then go to Morning Save & buy another one! There, just do it?¿
@decoratedwarvet One of the staff answered me via whisper. They weren’t 100% sure they had the right size chart without checking with someone else on the team so I think that’s why they didn’t answer publically. I went ahead and got her the women’s medium and will hope it won’t be too big or too small. I just wasn’t sure if the sizes were closer to typical junior’s or women’s sizes.
@RiotDemon I completely understand that, plenty of other sites do this but past practice here has been one price for a shirt. But I really liked that I could get two shirts that at a glance look the same. Kind of a unique purchase. At least shipping was free!!

design a MANS shirt (you know, something that a MAN would wear) and I’m in…and maybe, just maybe, you could get a little marketing benefit…something no one at MEH seems to understand.
I’m trying to pick out shirt brands for selling my own tees (I did a boatload of shirts over at shirt.woot) and am trying to decide which shirt blank to use. Do folks who have ordered generally like the Next Level tees that meh has been using? (I was trying to just use made in USA American Apparel, but the few they still make in the US only come in a few colors and are all slim fit).
AND btw if anyone at Meh can explain why they chose Next Level, please let me know!
@rglee129 I would rank them second to the “pre-Gildan” American Apparel. They’ve held up well, though the fabric is a bit stretchier, so prints can distress a bit easier. They’re even softer than AA, though.
For men/unisex, the sizing is extremely close to AA. Somewhere in the mega-Anvil thread I’ve posted some comparison pics.
For women, they are actually even slimmer than AA, albeit tapered. You may want some feedback on what’s preferred, though (slim fitting vs relaxed).
For several years before they went POD, Design by Humans used them a lot. They seem to source from Anvil nowadays (or at least the ones I’ve ran across in thrift stores were).
TeeTurtle uses them for men’s shirts 99% of the time (see comment below). Their women’s shirts are mostly Live and Tell nowadays; Next Level, Bella, or AA in the past.
@dave The only issue would be supply. Granted, this was a few years back, but someone on more than one occasion has bought up stock of certain colors/sizes before.
@dave@narfcake In case you’re interested, I had already emailed NextLevel because on their website they mention that they have WRAP certified factories, but it was unclear if ALL of their factories are WRAP certified or they were just using deceptive language. WRAP certification is about as close to legit seal of approval as there is these days (at least according to what I’ve read). According to their email reply, all of the Next Level factories are, in fact, WRAP certified. Phew!
In the write up, it says you need more ideas for tees. I like a lot of the ideas that were brought up during the birthday celebration this summer in the design a shirt competition thread.
And the shirts arrived…too bad Meh shipping dept can’t read orders…ordered 1 XL, and 1 XXL, received 2 XL. guess who gets left out from wearing a Meh shirt!
