Use this one weird trick to get a Bluetooth keyboard for your iPad Air!
And that weird trick is: spend a little more money. We’ve sold Belkin case/keyboards before that were tailored for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Which not all that many people have. So we advised taking some scissors to it to get that mis-sized case flap out of the way. And we priced them accordingly: very low.
Ah, but now here’s a case that fits el king jefe numero one of tablets, the iPad Air. A lot of you won’t need scissors to get the full utility of this one. And Belkin knows it. So we weren’t able to get them for the last-stop-before-the-landfill prices of the previous hack-worthy ones.
Frankly, we think if you’re throwing down a small stack of Benjamins on a tablet, it’s worth paying a bit more not to have a Bluetooth keyboard with a jagged hacked-off edge. Insisting on the cheaper option would be like choosing the mansion that costs a few bucks less because it’s got a sinkhole in the backyard. Sure, it’s empirically less money, and you can learn to live with the drawbacks. But you’re already paying 97% toward complete satisfaction - why not spend the extra 3%?
Besides, have you shopped for iPad Air cases lately? Especially keyboard cases? We hate to tell anybody to go away from our site. But if your perception of what things cost is so warped that this $14 Bluetooth keyboard case seems “expensive”, you’ve been spending too much time around here.
