Hair We Go Again
So previously, when we sold the foam, our pitch was: it’s easier and more comfortable than the liquid application, but usually more expensive. Only, from us, you can get the foam for liquid prices! But now, we’ve got the liquid too. Which means we’re selling the foam for liquid prices AND the liquid for… uhh… even less-than-liquid prices?
Basically, you’re looking at 12 bucks for the foam or 9 for the liquid. In other words, the price difference isn’t that much. Which is good, because, as with all things, it’s never so simple as the more expensive option being universally agreed upon as better. Some probably prefer the liquid for a variety of reasons unrelated to the price. (If you do, or you really, really don’t, do drop into the comments and give us your thoughts.)
In the past, we’ve used forum comments to illustrate how well this stuff works, not just for growing men’s hair, but also for filling out beards and helping women grow their hair back as well.
On that first point, @timsthebomb, who gave us the tip about facial application, chimed in to reiterate its effectiveness, saying that “minoxidil is the only reason I can grow a beard,” before adding:
ok also cheap microneedle rollers off amazon
So if you’re looking to use this stuff for maxing out your whiskers (or maybe the hair on your head too?), it might be a good idea to invest in some of those.
The other point, though–that this works for women, too–always throws some off because the packaging of this stuff itself actually says “for men only.” But @DLPanther begs to differ:
In case there’s any ladies reading this who don’t know, I checked my “hers” brand and this is the exact same foam as the “women’s” version, but the dosage is once per day.
So it’s a slightly different dosage. That’s it. Then why not just market as for anyone? Reading the comments on this thread, there are a few very plausible theories. But, the main point is: this stuff is exactly the same formula as products marketed for women. You just apply it with slightly less frequency.
So buy some if you want some!
