Missing members
18We really need a messaging system or something. There are at least two members that I realized I haven't seen in a short while and it'd be nice to be able to send a message and see if they're still alive. To be honest, I'm a little worried and hope they're both just taking an unannounced break or vacation, but it'd be nice to know.

Why not use an @ mention?
@Thumperchick
@Thumperchick One has been mentioned a couple times and not responded. But, yeah, that usually works.
@TaRDy Because... Zoidberg...
@PurplePawprints If you know their sn on woot, you could use their pm system? :/
@Thumperchick I don't. But, that's not foolproof either since you don't get notified of new messages using Woot's system. So many of us don't go over there anymore, or don't remember to look at our inbox (or maybe that's just me). I know this isn't an urgent thing, and Meh has more important stuff on their plates, but it'd be nice to have.
@PurplePawprints @Thumperchick Hell, I left @capguncowboy a message ages ago on wOOt that is still sitting there - yet I have spoken to him here a few times recently. wOOt mail system is not that easy unless you are looking for a message - easy to miss.
@Thumperchick Is there something wrong with an ink defense?
@PurplePawprints @mfladd - I know it's not perfectly reliable, but it is another avenue. shrug If they aren't answering an @ mention, the odds that they would check a pm here aren't much better.
That's a major downside to the internet - when people drop off the face of the planet, you're just stuck wondering what happened.
@mfladd I always hated the messaging system at Woot. I never understood why had to intentionally check it to see if there messages instead of a notification on any page you go to. I don't go there much these days -- actually, I don't go there at all anymore. It's depressing.
However, a mention here will always get my attention. I just don't have the time to participate like I used/want to
@capguncowboy preach.
@Thumperchick To be fair, not everyone has enabled the feature to get an email when mentioned.
Would be nice for sharing skypes, email addresses, etc... instead of having to post them for all the webz to see.
@thismyusername This. Not that I've had any reason to do this. But it appears a few people may have at some point (contests, etc.)
@thismyusername YES!!!
meh has a community? meh.
I think Meh should just post everybody's usernames and home addresses.
@phatmass I'm a fan of this. I'd start, but my mail carrier has a bad back from all the fan mail I get already. I've gotta' give the guy a break.
Can we get a meh milk cartoon public service announcement at the end of the daily video?
And I'm not trying to be insensitive to missing persons or missing children.
@jimmyd103 If I should go missing, please use this photo as it's more indicative of me than some glam shot.
@lisaviolet I will make a note in the ledger.
@jimmyd103 Cool! I'm in a ledger! I'll live forever!
@lisaviolet I just wanna say that you look even more adorable and mischievous than I had imagined . . . and I had imagined you abundantly both. Nice pic.
@joelmw Ah, gee, thank you!
This is as good a place as any:
Has anyone seen @Barney lately? There's been lots of purple around and no one to extol the virtues of it.
@PurplePawprints, @dashcloud - We could ask @Barney's mom if we could remember her name. Was it @CatBlue?
@KDemo @PurplePawprints Okay. Hey @Katblue, is everything okay with @Barney? We miss the presence of the purple-loving one.
@dashcloud - Ahhh, my memory was faulty. Thanks for the correction, hope it works.
I just want to go on record as saying I did not use my not missing member to have sexual relations with that woman.
Did you say missing members?
@The_Baron I was waiting for this pun.
@The_Baron say what?
@The_Baron
@lisaviolet
I thought this thread was about John and Lorena Bobbitt.
@ACraigL This joke brought to you by Mr. Neil Ross from his training days in 1993
@ACraigL I thought it was about this song
@PurplePawprints You're right. I've noticed a couple prominent posters who have been very quiet as of late. @Barney of course, and @LisaViolet. I'm sure there are others but this old brain of mine.........
@Teripie Yup. I have seen @Barney pinged twice with no response. I think I did see something recently from @LisaViolet though.
@Teripie @Barney and @heartny were the ones I've noticed the most. I am sure there are others, but my fellow lovers of purple stick out for me.
@Teripie I'm around. Trying to catch up with seven months of paperwork.
Made some presents for a friend, put them in a priority mail box, husband cut foam to cushion my work, mailed it to her, someone stole it from her porch, she never saw it. Things that would be useless to anyone else. (Did you know you can't put in a claim for fifteen days and if it's homemade, your time counts for nothing? You need receipts...good thing I do the majority of my craft shopping online.)
I hate paperwork. I really, really hate paperwork (which is why I have seven months worth to do, almost caught up, though).
@lisaviolet That is awesome! I am not a bit crafty, but wish I were.
@Teripie Thank you. I never really considered myself crafty. I crocheted a little, but that was about it. My friend (who didn't get her present) used to make me little scrapbooks for my birthday of the previous year's party/meet at Disneyland. And she raved about a cutting machine, a Silhouette SD. I bought one with the caveat I'd do stuff for Brian (my husband).
The first thing I did was cut vinyl for a Case tractor he rebuilt. The original is on the left, my work is on the right. I only had the photo to work from.
I've been hooked ever since. What makes everything so much easier are the online kits (like sewing patterns). They make it easy for me to look like I know what I'm doing.
@lisaviolet Those cards are fantastic!!!!
@jimmyd103 Thank you. They're called "box cards". I get my kits from an online place svgcuts.com and they have a facebook page. On their FB page one
of the other crafters posted a video of showing how he came up with a way to have them automagically pop open when they're pulled from the envelope. Well, it's not really magic, it's elastic, but still, it's pretty cool.
I love piggybacking off of other folks' creativity.
@lisaviolet This is how crafty I am. I string some beads and glue little mirrors and plastic gems to fishing line.
Have you ever tried to glue 2 halves of something to fishing line? It ain't easy!
@Teripie I love those! Do you sell them? I bet they really sparkle in the sun, I have a love of all things sparkly that cast rainbows on the walls (the only scene I remember from Pollyanna was the rainbows from the chandelier).
Glue? Fishing line? I have a love/hate relationship with glue, I can't even imagine working with fishing line and glue. My frustration level would probably be at an all time high. And I'm sure the cat hair wouldn't help.
@lisaviolet I give them away, but keep most for myself. They are hanging all over the property and a bunch are dangling down all around the deck gazebo. I also put them out at Xmas some times.
This tree was bought and set up just for the Waterford ornaments. I thought it needed some color.
@Teripie Very nice. We can't have anything nice. Cats.
I love this tree.
@lisaviolet while you are at it, would you like to catch up on mine too ? Thank you.
@ceagee Yeah...no. I just got finished with mine. :D
@lisaviolet Cats take everything as a personal challenge. I've seen a mini-tree with a large fishbowl over it; maybe next year. I have a glass-topped coffee table with slide-out drawer; maybe lights and stuff inside would work.
@OldCatLady We gave up years ago.
@lisaviolet That's so cool!
@Teripie Those are lovely. I love color and baubles so very much.
@lisaviolet You do not need to wait 15 days unless something is lost before delivery. I think if it was stolen after delivery it has to go through local police instead of insurance. (Not much help but maybe future reference) I think postal insurance is for lost before delivery or broken during shipping.
You are so talented! I do not have the coordination and patience to do cool stuff.
@OldCatLady @lisaviolet You, as a servant of the feline, are supposed to decorate your home including the tree for the amusement of your cat. I have been too lazy the last few years but we like to put up an unbreakable tree. If possible anchor the tree to the ceiling for full climbing enjoyment.
@speediedelivery @OldCatLady @lisaviolet or get a very heavy tree like I did. Three cats in it and it didn't even sway. Now the ornaments - yeah well I lost a few of them.
@Kidsandliz it's not just the tree being upended, they also mark everything. Cleaning a tree would be no fun. Lol
@speediedelivery The cats own every damned thing in this house, they are NOT getting a tree!!!
Not, not, not. Actually, they have access to the backyard. The fence has been modified so that they can't leave. Win win.
And we don't celebrate squat. No kids, any young family members live far away. Last Christmas we spent at the movies. No stress.
@lisaviolet Hey check your email - found 2 more (eg the rest of) of those little pictures I sent you
@Kidsandliz I just checked, I didn't see an email from you. Those pictures are so cute!
@lisaviolet No kids here either, well young underage ones anyway. I decorate to please myself. Many of my holiday pieces do not get put away. I decided if I like it I will leave it out.
@lisaviolet check your spam. It was the email address we corresponded with before. Or email me at my username here and yahoo (although we used a different one at my end before)
@Teripie ooo0h pretty!
@speediedelivery I have a tree (now for sale) that survived 3 cats up it at once, did not fall over. Very nice (and expensive) tree that looks real, has pine cones and is very heavy. Did not need anchored to survive the 3 cats up it at once incident. Didn't even rock back and forth (one was chasing the other and the third was already up there) when two of them about flew up the thing.
hi, thanks for caring
It's ok I'm ok
@PurplePawprints @dashcloud @KDemo @Teripie and @ others who I am too tired to look up (please accept my apologies). Hi everyone! Yep, I'm back and I must say it gives me the warm, purple fuzzies seeing that I was missed.
So, the reason that neither I or my mom, @katblue did not answer your pings is that Mom fell and broke her hip. And because of her heart condition, they had to call in all kinds of health experts so they could figure out how they were going to fix it. I'm happy to say that the surgery was successful and in a few days, she will be going to re-hab.
Meanwhile, I have been spending most of my time at the hospital and then coming home late at night and crashing into bed and then doing the same thing the next day and the next day... You get the idea? Anyway, I haven't had the chance to check out things at Meh for a while. I haven't even looked at Barney's statistics! I'm only here, today, because the nurse threw me out and told me to go home and get some sleep.
Boy, y'all sure talk a lot. How am I ever going to catch up with everything? And @mfladd is going to be goat? Gee, things have really gone downhill around here. :) Anyway, in a few days after I get Mom settled into re-hab, I will be back wishing purple blessings to everyone. See ya then!
@Barney So glad you're okay, best to your mom.
@KDemo Thanks! All I need is some sleep and that's what I'm gonna do now.
@Barney I'm so glad that you are okay and that your mom is on the mend. I'll pray for a speedy recovery for her and some rest for you. sending purple hugs
@Barney Having worked in rehab, I know your presence and support helps her at least as much as the treatment. Carry on.
@Barney They certainly have gone down hill for me to be goat (it might just be a prank on me :) I am so sorry to hear about about your mom, and I wish her the best. My degree is as an occupational therapist. I worked in acute care hospitals for years and understand the seriousness of hip fx's. When she is stable and given the ok by her doctors for therapy the most important thing for her to do is get moving as much as possible (even just sitting in a chair is beneficial). Her movement will depend on the weight bearing status she will be given after surgery. Did she receive an ORIF (open reduction and internal fixation)? I can't tell you how many patient I saw decline quickly because of staying in bed (usually do to pain). I no longer work in this field (my wife is still an OT) but if you have any questions about rehab or adaptive equipment she will probably receive don't hesitate to ping me. And you having some rest too is also important. Purplish thoughts! :)
@Barney I'm so sorry you guys have been dealing with this, but I'm so glad that she'll be going to re-hab soon. All my good thoughts to her for fast healing! Get some good rest so you can keep being awesome for her.
@Barney Please send my best wishes for a speedy recovery to your mom! Purple!
@Barney I hope your mom heals well and quickly! Purple thoughts & hearts to you both
@Barney I hope things go well for you guys! I miss seeing the purple comments.
@Barney hugs and healing thoughts
@Barney I'm glad to hear your mom is doing well and I hope she continues to have a speedy, strong recovery!
@Barney Sending good thoughts and well wishes to both you AND your mom. While it's important to take care of her, it is equally important to take care of yourself. (((Barney)))
@Barney Wait, so your mom is blue? Is your dad red and that explains your love of purple?
@jqubed Are you say'n my dad's one of them thar communists?
@Barney Communism was just a red herring.
Glad to hear from @ Barney today. I won't allow my post to notify her as it looks like she's got her hands full. Good luck Barney, I'll be thinking about you.
Thanks, everyone! Mom is now in re-hab. Yay! Looks like she's going to be there a couple of months or so. :( We both have had a rough week, but things are looking up.
My bad. Thought this was a discussion for Dunlap Syndrome sufferers.
I think it's time to bump this thread. Maybe I'm not looking in the right threads, but I don't see our purple friends, @barney @Lisaviolet @purplepawprints around.
@Teripie @barney was spotted over here, this week: https://meh.com/forum/topics/stupid-goat-meme-contest
@Teripie and @lisaviolet was over here: https://meh.com/forum/topics/dog-abuse
@Teripie I'm here and posting. Posted the Dismaland thing yesterday and posted to the Dog Abuse and Mehrican Exchange threads. And the pizza thread. Not the game threads, I suck at games.
@lisaviolet Yup. As soon as I bumped this thread I saw you had posted the Dismaland topic.
@Teripie - Here's Purplepawprints. I've been seeing Lisaviolet and Barney pretty regularly.
Hey, @Teripie, I'm here! I've been in and out because of Mom's hip (re-hab), which I must say is looking pretty good. Maybe another month and she will be home. Thanks for thinking about me.
@Barney I am glad to hear all is going well. What is her weight bearing status for that leg, and what procedure did she have done if you don't mind me asking?
@mfladd Actually, I guess she got pretty lucky. They had planned to do a partial hip replacement, (she broke it at the ball), but when they started the procedure, they decided to use pins (3). It cut the time of the surgery, so less stress on her heart and re-hab is also a lot easier on her (I think).
She is now walking everywhere with her walker and is experiencing no pain. The only pain she has is when she turns over in bed from one side to the other.
She has a balance problem and is also not very strong, so they are spending lots of time with strength exercises. As Arnold would say, "They pump her up."
@mfladd I guess I should say that she always has someone assisting her (walking, bathroom, etc) just in case...
@Barney Excellent. If she is up and moving with that walker, half the battle is over and the outcome looks good (for the hip). Keep her moving - the more she walks the faster the recovery. Purplish thoughts to her and you!
@Barney yes, at this time in the recovery you do not want to have a fall and risk damage to the surgically repaired hip.
@Barney @Purplepawprints @lisaviolet Glad to see everyone's doing okay. I guess I missed y'all because I was spending most of my time in the football threads.
@mfladd Thanks for the feedback and the encouragement. This is Mom's third time in re-hab, but the first two were for her heart. Anyway, I know the therapy staff and I KNOW they do a great job, but it always helps to have an outside opinion.
I'm really pleased how things are going. If only I could get her to stop calling me at 4:30 in the morning (she's lonely, but I really need some rest). -sigh- I love you, Mom!
@Teripie Yeah, and nobody likes my image contributions any more. Where is everybody?
@Teripie Thanks for missing me. :-) Hopefully, things will slow down soon and I'll feel like I can devote large amounts of time to the Meh forums again.
Has anyone seen @Pavlov? Last I seem to remember, he was fighting an infection (I think).
@beachbum @Pavlov has left the room and I miss him very much. There was an argument, words were said, and angry emails were exchanged. @Pavlov closed his email account (maybe even his Meh account?) and left the forum. Maybe someday he will return. I hope so.
@beachbum I would not put it past @pavlov to secretly have made a new identity on Meh. Hi new Pavlov wherever you are.
@beachbum
He went through so much recovering from his accident. He could have been having pain, or problems weaning off pain killers, or a combination of issues. I hope he returns, as well.
@KDemo @beachbum @Barney He had some great ideas about the special experiment and I miss talking to him! I hope you're going to eventually come back you have my E-mail @Pavlov @mrspavlov
@beachbum I thought @pavlov was just a character that @matthew was doing...
@Barney @connorbush @KDemo @sohmageek @thismyusername @Pavlov @MrsPavlov It saddens me greatly to hear this. He is (imho) a kind, funny and generous man who is missed. I hope he finds peace.
@Barney Wow, that's sad. I just figured he was taking some time off with his recovery.
@jqubed I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
I'd like something like this. At Woot, over the years, two regulars passed away and we were fortunate that we were eventually told about it.
@pooflady - People made such a big deal about announcing departures in another thread, I, for one, would be hesitant to say I was leaving. I agree, it's good to know. And the worst is - what if no one ever misses you?
Also - I got some dill pickle popcorn at Trader Joe's today, it is awful!
@KDemo I'd miss you.
@KDemo I'd miss you too!
@Barney @sohmageek - That's really a relief, I must be very insecure.
Want some dill pickle popcorn? Oh, wait, that's no way to keep friends.
@Barney You were the only one that "@" me when I disappeared. Thank you. It made me feel good when I saw the message. Was in hospital.
@KDemo I've barely started interacting with you, but I'd miss you, too.
@ceagee I missed you. You must have been pretty ill to have been gone so long. I don't want to be nosey, especially in a public forum, but I hope everything is fine now. I'm so glad you are back with us.
@Barney Thank you. Much better, but still have some recovering to do. Something went terribly wrong the night of a fuku. I have written a silly story or two in my head about it. Maybe someday I will post it. Must keep sense of humor when crisis strikes. : )
I hope your mom's healing is coming along.
@christinewas - Thank you. I've not been involved with another online group since woot, and to me, meh is better even than the old days over there. (Is it racist when people are judged by their colors?) Most everyone here is smart, funny, and as this thread proves, supportive. Love it.
@KDemo Don't let @Christinewas take you down her dark path...run to the light!!!!!!!!
@ceagee - Glad you're back, as well - is night of a fuku anything like Night of the Comet? Sounds like a good story.
@mfladd - Ha! Did you notice I advanced your real-life meme over here?
@KDemo Nice! Story of my goat life.
@ceagee I am so sorry to hear this. Best wishes on your recovery. But now it is time for some tough love.
:)
@KDemo You can ignore @mfladd. Someone accidentally called me a friend last night (too much to drink?) so now he is trying to compensate and pretend it didn't happen.
@KDemo @christinewas It never happened I was hacked!
Sorry, @mfladd, but @christinewas would miss me if I were gone.
But here's the thing - You like her, I like her - how did she do that? This must be all your fault!
@KDemo because she is the devil
(I never said that - I was hacked!)
@mfladd Devilishly good at getting people to like her, that is! And @KDemo you can't go anywhere, we need you. Ok, now I feel all awkward...
@mfladd A hacker gets access to your account and all they do is post a message saying you're friends with @christinewas ?
@jaremelz - Sorry, I didn't mean to make this about me, when we all know it's about @mfladd!
(And thanks, you're needed here too!)
@KDemo
@jaremelz Okay.
@dashcloud weird, huh? Bastards - they hit me where it hurts.
@KDemo Watch your banana, he's ruthless.
@joelmw - Are you still with us? There haven't been many cerebral discussions here lately. Miss your limericking self, though.
@KDemo Purple is not cerebral? Yeah, I miss @joelmw, too.
@KDemo @Barney I may have broken his brain with the Mary in the Black & White Room topic, I imagine he's still pondering.
@JonT - Good point, that was beyond cerebral. Scholarly, even.
@KDemo I was just coming to ask about him.. @christinewas , is all well or is there a disturbance in the force?
@mikibell She is alive and well. She has been posting a lot on Slack Stupid Goat! League. Also has been active on @sohmageek's contest.
@mfladd No, @mikibell was asking @chritinewas about @joelmw.
@mfladd thank you but I was worried about her dad ;)
@mikibell - Good call, I was considering that, but he started being gone almost when @christinewas visited him. ;-)
@KDemo I could tell she was traveling..wasn't sure if it was to him :) and she was stressed, (concerned for her), so I hope they were unrelated events.
@KDemo They'll never find the body. Ummm... I mean...
@mikibell He is well. At least, last I heard, he was well. He has been visiting family up in God's Country... a brief escape from his hellish captivity in Texas. I assume he has been busy with people and beauty.
@PurplePawprints @mikibell My bad. Thanks for correcting me :)
@christinewas
Relieved and happy for him. Thanks for the info!
@christinewas Awesome to hear..
@pavlov , are you there?
@connorbush I think he bailed completely after he was dumped on last month. The email he set up to communicate with people here is deleted. Wish I knew how to get hold of him to see how his recovery is coming. Anyone know? If yes email me privately at my user name at yahoo.
Hi @Kidsandliz - Maybe @MrsPavlov didn't delete hers?
@KDemo Hey @MrsPavlov - please ask your husband to email me at my user name at yahoo. Or perhaps you can email me instead and let me know how he is doing?
@kidsandliz Hope things have taken a turn for the better for you and that's why you're not around as much!
@dashcloud Thanks for noticing I am more or less MIA recently. I only wish things were better than they have been. Will be homeless at the end of the month (The people I am staying with are moving 1800 miles at the end of the month). I make enough money to pay for health insurance or rent but not both. Due to cancer need the health insurance - no medicaid expansion in this state. Wish I knew how to make my gofundme to go viral) and am trying to get everything to fit in the storage unit and not have to rent another one. On here to at least check the daily deals to buy christmas presents cheap but that is about it, only occasionally posting as I am just too tired and discouraged much of the time.
@Kidsandliz So sorry to hear that. Here's hoping for good news in the future!
@Kidsandliz -Your story breaks my heart. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to help.
@Kidsandliz Have you searched for a job in a state that has expanded Medicaid?
@Kidsandliz Or a job (where you are now living or in another state) that would put you above the poverty level so that you would qualify for a health insurance subsidy.
@Barney Yes I am looking in a variety of states. One of my problems is I have an MBA and PhD so junk jobs don't really want me (last summer I got hired to work in Walmart's parking lot for the plant vendor - very hot in the deep south to be standing in the parking lot all day doing manual labor with sweat dripping off my eyelashes, filled out the paperwork after I was hired and then got grief for my education all summer (likely I would not have been hired had I filled out the application first), couldn't do it this summer as I went 6 weeks with no car when the 25 year old ghetto van blew an engine bearing and I couldn't find anything that ran well that was cheap enough to replace it for ages - got lucky the credit union gave me a car loan; no public transportation in this county).
Another problem is the gap in my vita due to the cancer gigs - haven't yet figured out a good way to deal with that on my vita (also resulted in a publish gap that I am slowly remediating).
A third problem is age discrimination in higher ed (am applying outside of that too). Right now I am adjuncting. Pays like crap. But is better than nothing. Now there really isn't anything much in higher ed until Aug 2016. Haven't been rejected yet for a job that starts Oct 26th though but they started reviewing vitas 3 weeks ago so I am probably not on the list of finalists.
I was at a fast food place the other day. They were interested in me until they printed my application. Then I was asked why I would want a job there; I'd just quit when something better came along... sigh.
@KDemo Oh I know most people here can't help. Wasn't asking for money - that is why I didn't give the url. We shop here because we are broke LOL.
@dashcloud Thanks. I am hoping for good news in the future too! Or an open Brinks truck to drive down the street and spill the loot LOL. Then I'd get reward money when I returned it - or at least I hope I would LOL.
@Kidsandliz Just last night I was considering pinging you here. Wish I could help. hug
@Kidsandliz Maybe you need to try a different approach to the Walmarts/Targets and fast food places. Tell them that, yes, you have all of this education, but that you have decided to go with a different, oh, I don't know PhD track and it will take you, say, three years to complete and that you would plan to work, for example, at Walmart, while you are going to school. Places like this love to have students and you've given them an idea that you won't just quit at the drop of a hat.
This would give you the income level to qualify for the Obamacare health insurance. Here in Kansas with an income of around 1000 a month, which is just a tad above the poverty level for one person, health insurance, with the subsidy, is between 60-90 dollars, depending on your age.
I think it's definitely something to try. And of course, if you are offered a job in your PhD field, go for it!
@Kidsandliz or you could "forget" to mention the education ;)
@thismyusername They check the education.
She NEEDS the health insurance now because of her health. This may not seem to be the honest way of getting a job, but she needs to get her foot in the door and get that insurance. And she will still be able to continue her job search.
@Barney I love you to death, but if you think any minimum wage employer checks anything other than e-verify (and sometimes not even that), I have some land to sell you, it's not a swamp I promise. ;)
@thismyusername Alright for the sake of argument (or non-argument?), I will agree with you. My point is, that she needs to do just about anything to get a job in order to get subsidized health insurance if she is going to stay in a state that did not expand Medicaid.
@thismyusername OK so lets say I leave my education off. Then what the heck do I say I have been doing for the last bazillion years? Sitting at home twiddling my thumbs? Seriously I have worked since I was 14.
@Kidsandliz Knitting a very large comforter?
@Kidsandliz Well don't tell lies, just learn to creatively re-forge the truth :) If the last job was being a professor for example, you can say you were in "training" ;) Most mega corporate companies love the sound of that... also consider applying in actual small businesses, they often appreciate better talent for the short term, even if they know they will be loosing you when you find a job in your field... mega-corporate thinking can't see this sort of logic, as all employees are just a commodity on a spreadsheet to them. Best of luck to you!
@Kidsandliz So sorry to hear about your situation, I really hope things start looking up for you.
@brhfl Actually I got an email today to set up a Skype interview (from an inside source I found out they are interviewing 10 this way, cutting it down to 2 or 3, doing an in person interview then hiring) for a job that starts at the end of next month. Not counting my chickens as I have even made it to in person interviews where I was 1 our of 3 and 1 out of 4 and not made it to the offer...(actually the 1 out of 3 they cancelled the job after they had spent all that money to bring us in) but at least there is still hope. So far. Fingers and toes crossed. LOL
@Barney No, I'd be knitting a very large money bag to hold all the change I plan to pick up from the ground at walmart parking lots while I am living in one LOL
@Kidsandliz Best of luck!
