Time for a Stupid Goat! Contest. For a little background - as Team Breakfast Octopi (gishwhes) was talking on Slack, my dear friend @TaRDy (goat), decided to apply changes so that when anyone typed my username, Slackbot would say “Stupid Goat!” When @Starblind's username was mentioned it would say “Master of Awesomeness” See what I am up against here. Everyone needs to appreciate the amazing contest Starblind put on. His dedication and creativity was amazing. He set a new standard as goat that I doubt anyone will duplicate!
I won't even try.
Now we are going to have a completely mediocre contest. Anyone who is familiar with me here knows I love memes and gifs. In fact, I think my posts here have more memes/gifs than text. I know what your thinking - @Pavlov (missed - the goat who made it hard to be goat :) already did something like this. True. I don't care, it is what I love and what makes me laugh – so suck it!
Two of the things I love are Comics & Cartoons (superheroes, villains, Wile E. Coyote, Ren and Stimpy, I love everything!). I want you to create a funny meme using these. They must be identifiable characters from comics or TV cartoons. Old or New.
Memes are easy, and Imgur.com is an easy choice for many. It takes minutes, and if I can do it anyone can. There are also many other meme generators on the web. Some, you have to sign up for (free), some you don't.
The medium can be almost anything – cartoon pics, people in costume, claymation, etc, etc. etc. – the possibilities are endless. BE CREATIVE! (I will post a few examples of images)
The rules are simple:
1) Create a meme from any comic book or cartoon character (any image you can find freely on the web you can work with) You can post as MANY entries that you want.
2) It must be original – don't just post something someone else has done (don't be that person) If I can find it online and if is not original the Red Queen will disqualify you – off with your head.
3) All memes MUST include text. If you don't think you can make a meme include the image and type the text above (but I think you will at a disadvantage for voting).
4) Early posters always have an advantage. So if you do vote for entries at the beginning of the contest, please come by near the end and review all the other entries that people have submitted (it's only fair). Also vote for the originality and content - not who posted it.
5) You CANNOT vote for your own entry! (just my personal philosophy here). But you can vote for as many entries as you like and you can change your votes thru out the contest.
6) The winner will be decided by the most votes from you peers here on Meh. (staff may vote, but cannot participate – sorry, your flasks are like moths to a flame)
7) NO PHOTOSHOPPING. These have a distinct advantage in contests (not everyone has photoshop, or the skills for it). This contest is for everyone.
8) There will be a Mediocre Prize Pack for the winner! Is it worth your time? You can't win if you don't play.
9 )The contest will run from the minute I post to August 24th (midnight EST - the only time, suck it westies!).
10) I promise to be as diligent as @JonT to get the prize package out as quickly as possible ;)~

@KDemo you don't need to log in. Hit the blue box at the top that says upload images. then enter the pic location to Enter Image URLS's then when that loads - click that you want to edit. Then hit upload.

I'm taking my cues from Gumby and assuming claymation is fair game. I'm also acting on the assumption that @JonT will not grant your wish to remove this post.

@KDemo lol. yes. you can change text color with the color graph that pops when when you hit text. You can also change the size of the text after it is entered by clicking out of it then putting the cursor on the edges of the box.

Unfortunately, I GOATED this whole contest up royally. Besides doubling the text. It was too long and confusing, and I blame - SHIT! - me. I apologize to everyone who entered this one. Which wasn't many for obvious reasons. Since the idea for this one is ruined I will have new and shiny one tomorrow 8/17. This contest is closed.

@mfladd New contest, new prize. Send this one to @starblind (it makes sense, anyway). Send "Wow, you figured out how to participate!" prizes to the rest of us. And then... figure out something new to send when you post tomorrow. It's the only reasonable way to handle this.
