Fact, The First - Despite what each product’s marketing copy might tell you, there’s not one single cleaning appliance that can do everything.

A good plug-into-the-wall stand vacuum has great suction, but it can’t get into every tight corner or crevice. And a good hydrovac is a great alternative to a mop or a wet Swiffer, but while it can vacuum carpets, it’s not its best use.
