A Meh-rathon Murder Mystery!

Eccentric billionaire steam mop mogul Dallas McAllen has been murdered! And in his own home, no less, while a great party raged on. With 30 suspects and clues galore (some helpful, others less so) only Sadie Dufresne–an Inspector of the Royal Knights order (shorthand: IRK), one of the highest ranking detectives in all the land–can be trusted to solve the mystery. But she’ll need your help. So, what do you say? Will you help IRK Dufresne crack the case?

“So you haven’t been catering for long, I take it?” IRK Sadie Dufresne asks former copywriter Adam Seanison, still in his uniform.

“Let’s just say it wasn’t my first choice of career,” Adam replies.

“Might that be why there were so many complaints about the food?” Sadie inquires.

“Complaints?” Adam looks confused. “I didn’t get a single comment card.”

“If everyone felt like Hilda Brennon,” says Sadie, “that’s likely because they were too sick to fill one out.”

"Hilda Brennon? The author? “Another bridge burned!” Adam put his head in his hands a moment before continuing. “Listen, it wasn’t my fault, okay? Sure, I’m new at this. But we were shorthanded, what with Marge acting all love-struck and then running off.”

“Running off?” Sadie says. “Where?”

“I don’t know,” Adam says. “But it was twice. First, she told me she wanted to pick out a location. She just wanted to talk to him, she said. Somewhere private. Not sure how much actual talking she had in mind if I’m honest. Anyway, when she got back, all giddy because she’d found the perfect spot for them to rekindle their romance, I told her she was delusional and that it would never happen. The look in her eyes then? Oof. It was like it finally dawned on her; she was not Dallas McAllen’s wife anymore and really, she barely was in the first place. I thought that was the end of it, but she apparently recovered, because a little while later, she was off again, and this time, she was leading Dallas McAllen up the stairs behind her.”
