2-for-Tuesday: Hype Swivel Surge Protectors with Two USB Ports
Our Take
- Two surge protectors with little swivel heads that let you plug into them from any angle (within reason)- Includes two USB ports (as everything now should) one at 2.4 amps, the other at 1 amp- Some features that mean nothing to us but might to you: A continuous duty electrical rating of 13A, 120VAC, 60HZ, 1800W and a surge energy joule rating of 540J- Model: HV-6SWS-WHT (Did Will Shortz edit this model number, cuz it’s a real puzzle. The first “H” presumably stands for “Hype,” but the “V”? Then “6” likely represents the number of total outlets, and “SW” stands for “Swivel,” although only 4 of the outlets actually swivel. “WHT” stands for “White” but why did it get so many more letters for its abbreviation than the others? We’re stumped)
