All of the above…I’m just dating this job and don’t want to move my stuff in…cause that’ll scare it off…plus I’m thinking about breaking up with it…so there’s that…
a canvas bag aka tote bag. but, i travel by car, so. if i was still commuting on public transit i’d probably still be using one of my many messenger bags
I carry an Osprey Tropos backpack. Due to my line of work, I have to take my laptop home with me, so it’s just easier. And I can have my emergency kit of: contact lens solution, glasses, tummy pills, advil, deodorant, charging cables, different cable converters, plugs, travel battery, notepads, pens, Kleenex, etc. Along with a laptop pouch.
It’s my carry on for traveling as well. I hate the 1 huge pocket for everything backpacks because I mess it all up digging around trying to find what I’m looking for. This bag has pockets, and pouches within pockets to properly organize. With quick grab outer pockets, etc. It has a frame and a “kickstand” so I can set it down and it stands up instead of falling over. Also has a mesh back, which is nice when running through airports. It allows your back to breath.
Jean pockets. I have my cell in one, my little wallet with a small comb in the other and my eos lip stuff in a front pocket and keys in the other front pocket.
I drive to work. So, I guess a cup of coffee and a muffin?
I do have this laptop case. It’s 13 years old and looks exactly like when Logitech gave it to me.
Old cheap Wal-mart bright yellow EastSport backpack that makes the trip back and forth from home to the hospital 7on/7off for the past 10+ years. In it are:
Stethoscope
extra pens/highlighters/markers
assorted meds like ibuprofen, tums, cough syrup etc.
extra name badge
safety glasses/PPE
bottle of ‘elmers’ glue (used to make scratch pads from extra clean sheets of paper that we would normally shred)
Roll of quarters in an old ‘mini M&Ms’ style container ($10)
Assorted battery packs, cables and phone chargers to fit virtually every type phone imaginable including these from meh but not my Tzumi pack.
box of flavor packets for water
reusable water container
any extra stuff like a tablet etc if I am planning to work extra and may have some down time. (Rarely get to use that stuff though!)
Most of that stuff is used for other employees’ or patients’
needs except the stethoscope, flavor packs and name badge. The quarters are in case I need cash for an emergency, to give to people to purchase snacks/food from the vending machine etc.
I had been known to take everything out of it and use it for trips before I bought this … from meh as well.
A folded leather envelope most people call a wallet.
My pockets
A SCOTTeVEST.
IRK tote
a car
Fanny pack
I drive to work. Get out of my car with my thermal coffee cup.
A laptop bag with a single shoulder strap.
I used to carry a backpack and a thermal cup. Now I work from home.
I use a soft-sided briefcase, not the older-type ones with hard sides and latches.
Ortleib bike bag. Crazy-good German quality.
Soft side cooler
Messenger bag, Timbuk2 brand, guaranteed for life, waterproof, and holds a ton.
A Swiss gear messenger/laptop bag.
Mainly because I drive to work so don’t need to worry about the weight distribution.
some sort of jacket with pockets. if it is too large for the pockets i hold the item of leave it home. or it sits next to me on the car seat.
Lunch box.
Satchel and Paige leather briefcase.
Simple design yet eye-catching because it’s brown leather while most have canvas or similar material.
When I travel I have a slim profile backpack, similar to the one being offered today.
All of the above…I’m just dating this job and don’t want to move my stuff in…cause that’ll scare it off…plus I’m thinking about breaking up with it…so there’s that…
When I drive to work, it’s a Swissgear Scansmart 1900. When I run to work, it’s an Osprey Rev24.

10/10 would recommend to friends.

Needing a bag for more things is rare.

a very large bright-orange messenger bag, emblazoned with the logo of an early-2000s delivery startup.
My commuter bag(s):
