This won't steam your bacon.
This microwave steamer set can cook a lot of things quickly and easily. Bacon should not be one of them.
But that didn’t stop Sistema from listing instructions for cooking bacon in the included booklet. Please don’t do this.
You might think it goes without saying that you’re not really going to get crispy, browned bacon from a microwave steamer. Alas, it looks like we do have to spell it out.
Amazon reviewers love this microwave steamer set - except for the naive few who took Sistema at their word about the bacon.
So let’s be clear. You should not use this to make bacon. You shall not use this to make bacon.
And if you do it anyway, and you’re disappointed that microwave-steamed bacon isn’t delicious, your problems are deeper than any online review can possibly address.
