“This is a gingerbread margarita,” said Milly. “I concocted it using techniques I learned at bartending school in the city. And if we put it on the menu and sell a lot of them–”
“We can save the bar!” Andrew shouted.
“But I did want to say,” Milly said, “if you need to make some wild amount of money by Christmas Eve just to keep your business afloat, maybe you don’t have the business acumen to run a bar.”
“Sorry I didn’t hear that last part,” Andrew said. “I was too excited about saving the bar. What were you saying?”
“Oh, nothing,” Milly said.
