They don’t have any visible charging port and the description never mentions it (because I remember when these were first offered, someone had to look up a review that showed the batteries did have a charging port).
This also reminds me of an old fable about the guileless student who didn’t understand how travel worked.
The bullet points:

The boater explains that the boat moved one way, the hat another; marking the spot on the boat where the hat flew off is like thinking the sun revolves around you.
@pakopako That story sounds very much like what I remember of Epaminondas. I’ve only heard oral re-tellings; I’ve never actually read any versions of the book(s).
