We now take you to the grand finale of our April Fools’ Day murder mystery Meh-rathon, currently in progress…
“Now,” IRK Sadie Dufresne continues, “Marge Roper was heard by the aforementioned trio in the upstairs bedroom weeping softly.”
“Wow,” whispers Jimmy Stetson to Hattie Marshall. “The more we hear about this group’s escapades, the more I want to know!”
“Don’t think so much about it, sweetie,” Hattie replies.
“So, she would seem to have an alibi,” IRK Sadie Dufresne says. “Only, earlier I found something interesting in the kitchen trash: a tape player with a tape in it that played the sound of Marge Roper crying, with the slight jangle of her bracelets heard in the background.”
The crowd gasps again.
