FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Food Network Announces A Brand New Cooking Competition
Iron Chef Bobby Flay has teamed up with Calphalon Cookware and InstaClone Labs LLC to launch the ultimate cooking competition: Bobby Flay vs. Bobby Flays!
Each week, Bobby Flay will be joined by a twosome of rotating guest hosts including Michael Symon, Sonny Anderson, Geoffrey Zakarian, Carla Hall, and Bobby Flay. The goal: not to see who can take Bobby Flay down, but how many Bobby Flays it takes to beat Bobby Flay!
At the outset of each episode, Bobby Flay will spin the Bobby Flay wheel to determine how many Bobby Flays he’ll be battling. Whatever number it lands on, InstaClone Labs LLC’s amazing BobbyBox will instantly produce that many Bobby Flays.
Bobby Flay will then take on this group of Bobby Flays in a series of cook-offs, each one built around a unique surprise ingredient that Bobby and the Bobbys must make the centerpiece of their dish. The ingredient could be anything: veal, pumpkin, Bobby Flay, buttermilk, or even something as simple as parsley.
Each round, competitors will be given 25 minutes to cook a delicious dish using a Calphalon Classic 11-piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set. Once time is up, the food will be judged blindly by a panel of Bobby Flays (also provided by InstaClone Labs LLC).
If the real Bobby Flay wins, he remains in control. If another Bobby Flay has a better score, he becomes the real Bobby Flay until another Bobby Flay bests him, at which point that Bobby Flay will be named the real Bobby Flay.
By the end, it’s possible we won’t know which Bobby Flay is the original Bobby Flay or if there’s any such thing as an “original Bobby Flay.”
But one thing is for sure: whichever Bobby Flay is left standing at the end will receive a life-size gold-plated Bobby Flay statue. And yes, that Bobby Flay statue may appear to be in a lot of anguish, because, yes, it is actually just a Bobby Flay from the BobbyBox dipped into molten gold and preserved, but the good people InstaClone Labs LLC have assured producers not to worry: a Bobby Flay produced by the BobbyBox cannot feel pain. As evidence, they pointed to Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige. (Though they admitted that they may have fallen asleep and missed the end.)
Anyway, maybe just don’t think about that last paragraph too much.
And be sure to tune in Tuesday nights, 8pm Eastern to see which Flay rules the day!
