An Exorcise In Sales: A Halloween Meh-rathon
A couple, The Mortons, met Chad at the door.
“We are so glad you could make a slot for us tonight,” said Pam Morton as she showed Chad inside, referring to the fact that they’d only made this appointment a few hours earlier.
“We hope you didn’t have to shift too many things around to squeeze us in,” said Peter Morton.
“It’s really no problem,” Chad said, as they made their way through the mudroom. He tried to sound as warm as possible, but the Mortons froze and turned back to him in terror. For a moment, Chad worried if the spirit that needed exorcising might be right behind him.
