More hyper-processed gunk, with GMO flour, a bunch of added vitamins & iron, a couple of texturizers, and FIVE KINDS of sugar. NOT healthy at all. Try some plain oatmeal with a piece of fruit for breakfast. You’re welcome…
@sammydog01 Oatmeal cookies are very portable, as are many fruits. And GMOs are fine, if you like bruise-free and tasteless fruit & vegetables. How about genetically modified, or even cloned chickens, cattle, and pigs? Tasty, or terrifying? Then… Soylent Green.
These are pleasantly tasty if you like banana. I got them because as a caregiver I am constantly on the lookout for snacks that my elderly parents can eat on their own if they wake before breakfast or need a late night snack, and not shoot too high on the blood sugar. And mom has only two teeth so there’s that. The fruit jerky and the Slim Jims with/without cheese are the other two things they can eat some of that I get here.These particular goodies are a huge hit with them.They are fresh, soft and I even steal one every so often! These really help us out immensely.
Get them. Totally worth it.

I once got an order “number” that I thought was awful (and it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as that) so I canceled the order and then re-ordered. You have to do it within an hour, though.
Bought last time…They are pretty good, no nuts, so can go to kids’ school as snacks, does anyone have an idea how long past the best by date before they will start to taste stale?
Haha, giphy! Well, I got these; I’m happy to say they’re not gross. They’re not thrilling either but I like them and I think the people I’ll be giving them to will like them too.
I’m bummed though that I have a lot of snacks that would have been perfect to take to work back when I was going in. These and the hummus. Oh well.
To me, these are a decent texture & really close to the flavor of banana bread, but there’s a slightly off-putting background flavor that i can’t quite identify. Maybe something artificial…? So, i tried one with a vegetable spread, which was a little better, then peanut butter, which helped more, & the best so far was strawberry preserves. Of course, that adds a lot of extra sugar, so next I’m going to try some light strawberry yogurt (both regular & Greek style). I found vanilla yogurt suggested online, but i like the strawberry flavor better, esp with banana, so . Just a few ideas you can use to jazz them up, in case they get too boring.
@ircon96 Thanks! I think peanut butter would be good on them too. Maybe some butter and cinnamon sugar? One reason these would be perfect work snacks (and the hummus too) is that they’re not so delicious that you want to just eat them all right away.
@ircon96@Kyeh These are super crumbly; maybe mix them into the yogurt. (I agree there is an added taste to the banana, but I find it pleasant. It’s a bit like burnt oats; might be the raisin-stem paste or added iron.)
@Kyeh@pakopako Funny you mention the raisin paste, i forgot all about that. The first time i read the ingredient list, it occurred to me that might be the culprit, since I’ve never been a fan of raisins. Except, weirdly, i love toasted raisin bread. Go figure.
Got them yesterday. Still fine. I quite like them, actually. I am planning on giving some away just to move them a little quicker, but at <$0.17 per bar, still a good deal.

@Nate311 It worked! Your order number is: abnormal-wild-jester

I started eating one of these for breakfast on weekdays. They are decent
These are great. I bought all I could this time. The price is excellent.
These are very good but be aware that they are not super sweet. If you are expecting chocolate chip sweet, you will be disappointed.
These did not go over well with my family. The kids declared them “gross”. I find them edible but not delightful.
Bought them last time and I like them. Gave a bunch away so I’m in for more. Love the horror themed order phrase.

@MrNews cool
@MrNews I can’t put oatmeal in my purse and GMOs are awesome.
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

@mediocrebot That’s extremely inappropriate. Delete that picture.
@lisameh @mediocrebot I want to stab out my eyes… 🗡🗡

@lisameh @mediocrebot especially with the wars going on.
@honeybeehives @lisameh Mod note, I swapped it to giphy and it looks ok
@honeybeehives @werehatrack Thank you, but the heartless words are still there…“mortal decomposed soldier” ??? WTF. Are you a moderator?
@lisameh uh, yeah, But I try to keep a low profile on it.
@werehatrack thanks for swapping that out. Still can’t un-see it
@llangley @werehatrack exactly.

Awesome, now I have 120 bars that are ‘best before’ last week. You seriously sold expired product. wow. A new low.
WORKER BEES! HERCULES! TURKEY GREASE! AWESOME!
@FatDaddy As noted in the listing:
It is NOT “expired”. Per the FDA.
