Who else still has old Meh stuff laying around from the first year?
15I’ve shamelessly kept these like the hoarder I am, and I still couldn’t even give these away free. The socks I’ll take to my grave at this rate. Somewhere around here is that little fryer they sold for $10 still unopened in the box it came in.

I only have about 100 GB open on my phone, therefore not enough to take pictures of all the mehrchandise I have laying around untouched.
@cinoclav Me too.
I have regifted a bunch of stuff during the meh exchanges and also in Christmas stocking
I have some stuff, regifted some stuff…
Guilty.
Not the first year but I definitely still have some melted candy corn.
Loads of it. Tons. It’s all I do.
gots the Socks, the branded phone charger keychain stick thingies… heck, i still have stuff from my kickstarter Fuku sitting in the same spot i sat them 5 years ago…( I really need to clean up…)
just did a quick look through my purchases for mehs first full year(July 9 - July 9) out of 21 purchases, 15 of them are within 50 ft of me as i type this…
@earlyre You need a bigger place.
@earlyre That’s because those things are being used daily, right?
@speediedelivery
@earlyre I forgot about the phone chargers, those are around somewhere still in the box too.
@Tiamat114 My chargers are on a keychain in my backpack. Think I’ve only used them once or twice, but still cherish them. I wish Meh would come out with a USB-C version…
Oh God, those freaking neoprene sleeves
I’m fortunate enough to have three (!) pairs of socks, one from the original mailing and two more from fukos.
(Also, crap from fukos makes for fantastic gag gifts)
@nolrak that’s so many socks. I wore mine and I live alone and one legit went missing. I only have one meh sock to remember the time they said that VMP members would sometimes get random gifts.
@nolrak @zachhh
like the cardboard cell phone holders
It’s even worse for me. I also shop Amazon Warehouse for stupid cheap stuff. I mean, who couldn’t use an extra set of under-body toolbox brackets, mailbox mounting plate, closet door rollers, interior door handles to a Corolla and brake cables to a Tacoma, neither of which I have. But when a t-shirt from a thrift store costs more than any of those …
@narfcake I bet your great-grandkids have a ball when they visit your house!
The Powernow charger I bought from my first year at Meh is still next to me and working great.
I also have Meh socks in my dresser drawer and a red Fukubokruo (the second one ever and the only one I could get in time) in the closet.
Meh is missing a great opportunity by not offering 12 step hoarder counseling services.
Create the need, then fill it.
I think my first purchase from Meh was a set of cutting boards. I still use em every time I cook. I was going to say every day but I don’t cook every day here lately.
I had tons of neoprene sleeves, but most of those got me $1 at garage sales over the years. Not many are left now.
For some reason I have all my fuku/fuko/irk bags collected, even the fanny pack one.
I have a bunch of those in the attic in a box.
You all need to wear the socks, they are super comfortable.
@caffeine_dude they are! Wear the socks, people!
I got so many peanutbutter & Jelly spreaders. So many! I was thrilled to get the neoprene sleeves in comparison. The first fuk shipments were really weird. PB&J spreaders, Toilet paper, broken fireplace? That Fanny pack where the meh screen print would stick to other things?
The socks and chargers and first meh shirt were really cool! I got so much broken and random crap that first year though! Did I mention the 73 PB&J spreaders I got in one fuku?
@LongDoggie I believe you’re talking about my ‘other’ Fuku box since it had the broken fireplace and the toilet paper. Not to mention the PB n’ J Spreaders. 73 would have been easier. I got 276 of them.

@cinoclav Like peppridge farm, I remember! I got a much more manageable amount of spreaders and other random broken stuff. My wife was not as excited or entertained with the addition of junk. HOWEVER, she was much happier with my haul after seeing that fireplace
@LongDoggie Just think, that broken fireplace was actually nicer than that hideous toilet paper.
Still have all my meh goodies! Once I find a bigger place they will be on shelves in the office!
I just went over what I bought the first year. Up to the 1st birthday tee shirt I got a lot of stuff. Still using most of it including the JBL speaker docks.
In the first year, I bought 42 times. My first purchase was a cheap safe which I currently cannot find the keys for (batteries are dead but it just has some rocks in it as a decoy). My second purchase was three of the PowerNow chargers, one for a friend, one died after a few months while on vacation in Washington DC and one that still works fine.
All five of the fuku|o bags from the first year are still going strong as are many of the other items (Vorando fan, comforters, emergency car kits, etc.)
I still have the meh socks and meh keychain charging “cables” and meh phone holder boxes, as well as a bunch of meh stickers and other stuff that came in fuku|os or I actually paid money for.
Sigh… yes, I have a problem…
/giphy neoprene sleeves

@Seeds took the tags off another fresh pair of Mediocre socks just the other day. We keep finding new sets randomly.
