@Luko26 Turns out this was actually mine too, marked the survey wrong though . The brick is still an everyday staple for me; the little day charger stopped working at some point. Left the charging pad at home and have tried to teach my mom to use her phone’s wireless charging capabilities twice now. We’ll see if it finally caught on when I visit next…
@mamawoot@TheCO2 I managed to give away about half of them. It was oddly difficult. People had a hard time understanding that I was giving them out for free. I’m using three of them.
@EvilTuna31x my first purchase was a food saver, too! I sent it to a friend of mine because I also bought this model only a few months later. It’s a bit on the fritz these days, I think maybe because we’ve been storing it sideways. I still cringe when I see full retail price for these things because I bough two (refurbished though they may be) for less than almost half of that.
First was on 7/14/14: X-Mini Kai Bluetooth Speaker, quantity 2. I may have used them a couple times. I have no idea where they are now. But my second purchase on 7/22/14 was a pair of Stanley insulated mugs. My wife still uses one of those just about every day. (I use one of the pair of Bubba 20 oz thermal tumblers I bought on 8/25/15 every work day.)
@SSteve Same first for me! And we’re still using the bubbas every day, too. I wish I had 4 bubbas instead of two thermal tumblers, one broken speaker, and one lost speaker
Craig smart tv hdmi adapter w/wireless keyboard and mouse $15
Was adequate when it functioned. No app store installed, no way to download any updates. Great travel-sized keyboard and mouse!
@edguyver14 The key was a complete install of another Android build which did have the Play app. Didn’t matter a heck of a lot, so little space for apps and not incredibly stable.
A pair of bluetooth accordion speakers… One of which didn’t work and meh replaced. After we had two good ones in hand, one was used like 3 times before it was accidentally melted by a cooking appliance and the other was lost after probably a dozen uses. Meh-mwah
Of course, I didn’t remember, but Meh has been keeping a list. I became a VMP member in 11/14 and my first purchase was a 2-pack of bluetooth keyboards and cases for tablets. They worked.
@ebatch Ours did. I bought three and as far as I know the other two, that went to my twin grandsons, also worked. I didn’t hear any whining, which is always a good thing!
A radio controlled helicopter. Kids & I were super excited!
Took forever to arrive…and when it finally did…complete dud straight outta the box. Never powered up.
Ya might say the kids & I were rather disappointed.
Contacted MEH customer service who directed me to a replacement parts site…which was completely sold out of all merchandise.
Why am I still here? I dunno…is there a better 12am daily activity?
@ebatch In over 100 purchases, dud’s have been a no problem refund with no need to return it. Since they sell till gone, very few replacements available.
A Krups coffee maker. It was $10 and arrived with a broken carafe. Meh’s (great) customer service said there unfortuntely were no extras to send out so they gave me a $10 credit and I didn’t have to send back the broken pot. But it was a good coffee maker, so I ordered a new pot off Amazon for around $20. It made really good coffee for like 2 months, then some computer bullshit broke on it and I bought a $20 Mr. Coffee at Meijer. Moral of the story: just buy a Mr. Coffee.
Apparently, it was Oneida wine glasses on a 2-for-Tuesday offer. Not sure if I still have them or not, since I don’t drink a whole lot of wine… (purchase date: 8/12/2014)
Bullshit headphones that broke. Then the replacement from the company broke. I haven’t yet bothered to replace the replacement. House of Marley makes some weak shit.
3 bluetooth audio receivers, one i used and the others i gave away. none of which are in use any more. that started me on this path of ruin in oct of 2014 …
The NEO Lithium-Ion Power Tool Set. GREAT purchase - still use it. Batteries still charge enough to get small jobs done (the only type jobs I’m really good at anyway!)
A crappy French tablet that I bought because France is so famous for the quality of its tablets. It eats its firmware every couple months. It needs its firmware and apps reinstalled yet again but I haven’t felt like dicking around with it so it has just been a shiny black mirror for the past several months.
Archos 97 Titanium HD Screen Android Tablet
November 6th 2014
One of those Foscam webcams. It’s in the box and gathering dust. I might still use it if its security weren’t crap (seriously, when authenticating, it passes your password in plaintext in the URL).
Looking through my purchase history was depressing. So many mehdiocre products I never used or have a use for. Thank you for making me ashamed for my conspicuous consumption.
SYLVANIA MOTION SENSING OUTLET
I really thought it was a speaker. Turns out it was two of these, followed by a Hamilton Beach crock pot. Still use them all on the regular!
I’m still a noob I guess: Caffeinated gum. lol Thought it’d be good for those days I have to get up early and go but being 50 I’ve not had one of those days yet…
808 AUDIO DRIFT NOISE ISOLATING ON-EAR HEADPHONES
QUANTITY: 1 BLACK @ $8
March 11th 2015 12:14pm ET
These went into the A/V cabinet and never were used. Several other meh purchases met the same fate.
The first thing I purchased was a laptop bag while I was vacationing in Hawaii of January 2016, Not sure how I found the site but somehow I did and then I was hooked…
I regret that I procrastinated myself out of getting a K (I don’t remember why I didn’t do the Kickstarter when I first saw it) though @meh got me a Kickstarter shirt, so I do have one of those, along with 24 other meh shirts (I reorganized my t-shirts last Friday).
CHEERSON CX-10C VIDEO CAM QUADCOPTER, Nov 2015
Was pretty hard to fly; looked like a drunk bumblebee. I think it’s at the bottom of one of the kids’ toy drawers. Probably mangled.
First thing was a quadcopter. I never managed to figure out how to keep it in the air. Second was a Martian Notifier. Third was a different quadcopter that I had slightly more success keeping in the air.
A speaker dock that I rapidly realized sounded horrible over Aux so I gave it to my kids’ daycare provider. She still uses it though as she has an eye-phone.
Duracell powermat.
@Luko26 Was the mat part worth it? The power banks alone were my first purchase. Still use 'em often.
Even though I was on this site longer, my first purchase was Fuku 6.
Was not disappointed though, because I got a Roomba.
Best $10 I ever spent.
Bubba tumblers
Bulk sunglasses. Keep a pair in each car so I can see on the rare occasion that the sun shines…
18 piece set of cedar grilling planks for $8.00. (Salmon not included!)
My squishy soft day zero AA shirt is NOT dumb!
ESCALI PICO DIGITAL SCALE - $4
July 24, 2014
Still in use every day
30 neoprene sleeves.
90 neoprene sleeves, lol.
@mamawoot @mehla But have you used them all, yet? Most of mine are still sitting in a box.
@mamawoot @TheCO2 I managed to give away about half of them. It was oddly difficult. People had a hard time understanding that I was giving them out for free. I’m using three of them.
Ninja wallet. That got my brother detained by TSA.
Second purchase was the dumb shirt.
My meh Kickstarter shirt is still my favorite.
My first was the v3230 refurbished foodsaver! Dec 22, 2016.
Earbuds?! What was I doing? At least the second purchase was a mixer. That one I still have and use.
Martian Notifier Watch.
@lakertaylor13 ditto

Not the shitty ones sold later that leaked.
@bluebeatpete Same thing for me.
@bluebeatpete wish I got those, I got the leaky ones
@ddr330 I bought the leaky ones too… finally learned that vinegar neutralizes/cleans alkaline battery acid, not baking soda.
@bluebeatpete @ddr330 Huh, I’ve never thought about that. TIL.
@alphapeaches @bluebeatpete @ddr330
Lemon juice also works.
Heart rate monitor watch. I had just decided I wanted to buy one a few days earlier so it seemed like kismet.
PowerNow 10K mAh Power Bank
I have it next to me right now. Still works.
@JT954 Mine is purple.
@Barney Mine too.
@JT954 I didn’t realize they made these in any color other than purple… I have 3 of them. In purple!
@Barney @ sammydog01 @shahnm I would have bought the purple one during the Meh-rathon, but they sold out too quickly.
@JT954 Aww…
I am still rocking those much beloved JVC speaker docks. Decent sound and charges my phone every morning. FAR from Meh!
Kickstarter Day Zero Shirt.
First was on 7/14/14: X-Mini Kai Bluetooth Speaker, quantity 2. I may have used them a couple times. I have no idea where they are now. Those Bubbas are fantastic.
@SSteve Same first for me! And we’re still using the bubbas every day, too. I wish I had 4 bubbas instead of two thermal tumblers, one broken speaker, and one lost speaker
Comforters which I still have and like.
The 23" AOC monitor, which I’m still using nearly 4 years later. It’s actually not lame at all, surprisingly.
Two (frik’n indestructible) Chromebooks.
Four years of abuse later, mine is still going strong.
Day Zero Shirt
Contego travel mug
3 mini magnet speakers. I’ve bought them twice and they’ve turned out to be nice gifts.
ACCU FORCE 3.5 CHANNEL HELICOPTER
The battery leaked after a while, I threw it away. RIP
A case o’Mad Ape Den.
Cool Gear stay fit set
Mine was a ‘TASCO DIGITAL MICROSCOPE’ for ten bucks, [09/10/2014] a very good deal (still have it, works fine)…
Craig smart tv hdmi adapter w/wireless keyboard and mouse $15

Canon EOS Rebel T5, $333
Was a great gift for my sister^^
But my real answer is that Christmas where you sold 2 free months of VMP.
Two of these shitty speakers for $25. 09/02/14
https://www.amazon.com/XAM11-B-Bluetooth-Portable-Capsule-Speaker/dp/B0071AKB38
@NMA I bought them a few times. I don’t think they are bad as far as shitty speakers go.
Strap-ons. 3 of them.
No really - flashlights that you strap on your head…
@shahnm You might strap them to your head. You don’t wanna know what my friends strap nor where.
ACCU FORCE 3.5 CHANNEL HELICOPTER
@mehbee Yes, me too?
Did yours work?
@ebatch Ours did. I bought three and as far as I know the other two, that went to my twin grandsons, also worked. I didn’t hear any whining, which is always a good thing!
Cutting boards. Use them almost every day still.
A two for Tuesday deal. I was young, ignorant, and gullible.
A radio controlled helicopter. Kids & I were super excited!
Took forever to arrive…and when it finally did…complete dud straight outta the box. Never powered up.
Ya might say the kids & I were rather disappointed.
Contacted MEH customer service who directed me to a replacement parts site…which was completely sold out of all merchandise.

surprisingly useful USB power banks that still work.
Meh Shirt. Day Zero.
A Krups coffee maker. It was $10 and arrived with a broken carafe. A bunch of socks with skulls and stuff.
A CyberPower 200-watt power inverter on March 22nd, 2017. Still have it, still works!
Apparently, it was Oneida wine glasses on a 2-for-Tuesday offer. Not sure if I still have them or not, since I don’t drink a whole lot of wine… (purchase date: 8/12/2014)
I had guessed a shirt or Contigo. I had forgotten it was actually a gun safe, which probably needs a new battery by now.
Bullshit headphones that broke. Then the replacement from the company broke. I haven’t yet bothered to replace the replacement. House of Marley makes some weak shit.

Haven’t used it yet.
A bluetooth home connect audio receiver for $3 in Oct 2014 which I thought I use, but haven’t yet.
@aetris I sat on the fence about that tool set and wound up not ordering it. I read your post and had a tinge of regret.
Day Zero T Shirt…
A crappy bluetooth keyboard.
Same here: another crappy Bluetooth keyboard:
IOGEAR MULTI-LINK BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD WITH TOUCHPAD (REFURBISHED) 10/29/2014
A crappy French tablet that I bought because France is so famous for the quality of its tablets. It eats its firmware every couple months. Looking through my purchase history was depressing. So many mehdiocre products I never used or have a use for. Thank you for making me ashamed for my conspicuous consumption.

Sistema 4-Piece Microwave Steamer Set
I mostly get kitchen-y stuff - slow cooker, food saver, etc.
The first thing I purchased was a laptop bag while I was vacationing in Hawaii of January 2016, Not sure how I found the site but somehow I did and then I was hooked…
A medium vault safe was my first purchase on July 31, 2014:
I regret that I procrastinated myself out of getting a K (I don’t remember why I didn’t do the Kickstarter when I first saw it) though @meh got me a Kickstarter shirt, so I do have one of those, along with 24 other meh shirts (I reorganized my t-shirts last Friday).
@baqui63
In 4 years, I wonder how many times @meh has been correctly tagged (and not just as a response to correct somebody who incorrectly tagged @meh).
Excluding your comment of course.
You win, @baqui63.
@PlacidPenguin I still think @snapster should give @meh some hazard pay. She never had to deal with this at Woot, y’know.
@narfcake
Well you also think that @snapster should start a site which sells t-shirts, particularly of the cat kind.
@PlacidPenguin @snapster
Since I might run out:

CHEERSON CX-10C VIDEO CAM QUADCOPTER, Nov 2015
Was pretty hard to fly; looked like a drunk bumblebee. I think it’s at the bottom of one of the kids’ toy drawers. Probably mangled.
2-Pack: Contigo 14oz Pinnacle Autoseal Travel Mugs. December 2016
They’re fantastic, and I would max out my next order if they were offered again.
LED light ropes. They’re still in mint condition!
Day Zero shirt.
2-FOR-TUESDAY: MEHGUYVER PHONE ACCESSORY BUNDLES
They were just as worthless as I had hoped!
@Willijs3 this wasn’t my first purchase but I can confirm it was worthless. I honestly have no idea why I even bought it.
First thing was a quadcopter. I never managed to figure out how to keep it in the air. Second was a Martian Notifier. Third was a different quadcopter that I had slightly more success keeping in the air.
AccuForce helicopters. Three of 'em. December 11, 2014.
A speaker dock that I rapidly realized sounded horrible over Aux so I gave it to my kids’ daycare provider. She still uses it though as she has an eye-phone.
We needed a kettle, and this came up. We only used it once as my wife complained it made the water taste like metal. I use a keurig so I don’t care.
Now we boil water in a pot like a couple of neanderthals.
$1 Meh American Apparel Shirt. I ended up giving it to a friend because it wasn’t even my size to begin with and it ran small.
