Solstice is coming (June 2019 goat nominations)

The longest day of the year is coming (except in the southern hemisphere where it’ll be the shortest day instead), but until then, it’s just that time of the month where we bid farewell to the current goat @TheFLP and nominate a new scapegoat instead.

- @tinamarie1974 You might try posting a kidnap note from pirates that they will release you if 87 other people are goats before you are goated. I tried posting my death certificate but that didn’t work. I managed to escape my fate for close to 2 years, then I was goated while I was in the middle of moving or starting a new job or something or other that was a big time sink (I forget what now) so sucked as goat.

- @TheFLP I understand about the goat trophy. I’m kinda thinking that since there have been so many goats, meh just didn’t want to mess with it anymore.
  
  However, sending out the certificate wouldn’t take too much effort and it is pretty cool.

- @carl669 My kid was on two different sport traveling teams (and when we lived in northern Idaho OMG traveling to 3 other states to play was a giant, expensive PITA) and played a third sport through the rec department along with one junior varsity sport and one varsity sport. OMG I hated how my weekends were trashed year round. High school graduation was just about the best day of my life. I was finally done with this crap and got my weekends back. Each year I kept hoping she wanted to drop one of them. Each year she didn’t. I was a “good” parent though and never let on how much I hated this.
