Getting started with CX10 from meh.com - what do I need to know to make it a happy Christmas experience?
0I bought my fiancee a pair of CX-10a from meh.com as a Christmas eve present. When we are done cleaning up after a church event, my plan is to present the gift, open them, and then fly.
I'm expecting an hour or two of fun reading the manual, futzing, etc, and then hopefully a bit of indoor flying.
Is there anything besides the manual and a USB charger that I should have? Tools? Is there a convenient guide or FAQ for frequent problems?

2 AAA batteries for the transmitter. They're great once you get the hang of it. I'd suggest flying with the least sensitive control setting (press down left stick for ONE beep).
Here are some tips on Meh's forum by @KuoH and then @Carl669 made this nifty printable version
The only thing I'll add is this: when you take off, do so with authority. Be gentle with the controls but quickly get it up over 6" high and then bring the throttle down to hover. If you gently take off and stay too low, you'll be in ground effect which can make it harder to control. Stay away from walls, the same kind of effect can make it harder to get away. But it won't take you a couple of hours. Just a couple of flights.
Thank you both, I appreciate it.
@sportykev @djslack Forgot to tag my previous message - thank you both, a big help. (Even though there wasn't a lot to know, getting the answer saved me a lot of searching time, wondering if there were things I should know.)
For your first few flights, indoors with plenty of clear space. Practice hovering at 4-5' up. Aero effects make handling near the floor or ceiling trickier, so be bold on lift off.
