I can't believe I got one. I'm 4 for 4 on attempts (I was strangely unaware of Meh for the first few months). Everyone of them has been on a tablet.
Like most nights, my Meh alarm went off at 11:59pm. Wait until the day turns over, then refresh the page. When I did so this time, I was greeted with the previous sale's "Too Late" message -- but the Fukubukuro video had loaded. Uh oh!
Refresh again. Took forever. I had already given up hope. Saw the button, and clicked. Waited. The sale screen eventually loaded. I saw the robot check and clicked it. Heart thumping in my chest. Pass! Place order. Green loading bar, green loading bar, green loading bar, for another eternity. And... what!?! It went through? Nuts.
All of this transpired in less than 2 minutes, obviously, but really seemed like I was out of the running from go. Thanks Meh! Can't wait.

@TheOneAlex I had to drop wifi and go with lte to get it. It's weird that my T-Mobile connection is faster than my 50mb cable connection. Yet T-Mobile has hardly any connection in Vt.
Somehow got two - noisy-ashamed-coffee and contagious-expensive-library ...did the right thing and cancelled one of them, so another Fuku just got released into the wild. Good luck to whoever gets it!
@PurplePawprints I heard rumors of people buying stuff after it sold out because of people canceling. In this particular case, I doubt that will work. They sold 693 and that was probably over sold again so it is not going to add any additional ones back in stock. That's a weird number so I bet they meant to sell 500 of them.

Summer started with the wife getting t-boned by a texting speeding red light runner. Totalled our car, metric shitte-tonne of medical bills. Last five months, everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. (Mostly ankle biters and 1st world problems — not looking to go fund me or anything.) On a side note, I tried doing the Windows 8 move the window to the edge to half screen it, and accidentally moved it to my monitor that was off, so I had to scramble to power it on/cycle to the input and attempt to buy, it scared me.

But then my breath caught in my throat. The completed progress bar refreshed and filled again. And again. And again. My order, was it not going through?!? Should I reload the page, or would that kill my order? Would I need to start from scratch? Or were they already sold out? I've been told they go fast. Maybe I should just give it more time? At my house, it was "Tech Free Tuesday", meaning no computers or TV...until after the girl goes to bed, anyway. So I missed it. As for this fuku, it went pretty okay. As with any of them, there always seem to be a few extra orders that slip through than we originally planned for. But we've learned to anticipate this and have planned our fuku items accordingly. AKA we took the trash out one less time last week so we'd have extra junk to throw in some boxes if needed.
Although I said POOP a number of times uptopic, it turns out that later, when I checked my ORDERS again, darned if it didn't show a fuku 6 after all. Talk about a neat surprise! Perhaps life isn't covered with POOP after all.
I've been out of town the last couple of days for work but finally got to comment. I had just arrived into the hotel and was in the elevator and looked down at my watch and thought..."Midnight, I wonder what's on Meh???" I must have timed it perfectly because I had minimal waits and by the time I reached my hotel room, I had one. This is my fifth fuku(fuko). The only ones I've missed were the Kickstarter and the one where they had the computer glitch (but not for lack of trying).

I can't believe I got one. I'm 4 for 4 on attempts (I was strangely unaware of Meh for the first few months). Everyone of them has been on a tablet.
Like most nights, my Meh alarm went off at 11:59pm. Wait until the day turns over, then refresh the page. When I did so this time, I was greeted with the previous sale's "Too Late" message -- but the Fukubukuro video had loaded. Uh oh!
Refresh again. Took forever. I had already given up hope. Saw the button, and clicked. Waited. The sale screen eventually loaded. I saw the robot check and clicked it. Heart thumping in my chest. Pass! Place order. Green loading bar, green loading bar, green loading bar, for another eternity. And... what!?! It went through? Nuts.
All of this transpired in less than 2 minutes, obviously, but really seemed like I was out of the running from go. Thanks Meh! Can't wait.

When it keeps cycling me though the 'I am not a robot' check (now 2 fukus in a row where I was at the buy screen well in advance of the sell out and this happened multiple times), I find that frustrating that this is why I missed out - a buggy robot check, not that I was just too late...

On a side note, I tried doing the Windows 8 move the window to the edge to half screen it, and accidentally moved it to my monitor that was off, so I had to scramble to power it on/cycle to the input and attempt to buy, it scared me.

Another slow load. 9:01. I scrolled frantically down to the Buy It Already button and hammered on it. The progress bar appeared and mercifully filled immediately. I breathed a deep sigh of relief. But then my breath caught in my throat. The completed progress bar refreshed and filled again. And again. And again. My order, was it not going through?!? Should I reload the page, or would that kill my order? Would I need to start from scratch? Or were they already sold out? I've been told they go fast. Maybe I should just give it more time? K.I.T., Keep It Together.
Suddenly It gave me a new page. Appreciative Gory Grain, 9:02pm. It worked!! Ha-ha! I would be the proud owner of what would surely be a bag of tear-inducing crap, for my first and probably last time! Overcome with the joy that can only be felt my someone who has no idea of how bad their purchase will prove to be, I reloaded the Meh main page with a smile.

The first time I manage to fall asleep in under 30m instead of 1-3 hours for the first time in about 6 years, and its the night I was like, I'll still be awake to check Meh at midnight and its the fuku. My luck may be bad but I didn't hit the oppossum that ran out in front of my car and scared the shit out of both of us last night so I've got that going for me which is nice. Planned to ask in this thread, this morning, who locally got one. Checked my email this morning to discover the local who got one is me.

At my house, it was "Tech Free Tuesday", meaning no computers or TV...until after the girl goes to bed, anyway. So I missed it. I'm not religious about checking right at 9 anyway, so I probably would have missed it anyway. Apropos of nothing...I did get some Woot BoCs back in the day and scored some nice stuff. Like a 30 GB Zune! And a broken Polaroid brand cable/TV DVD recorder.

As for this fuku, it went pretty okay. As with any of them, there always seem to be a few extra orders that slip through than we originally planned for. But we've learned to anticipate this and have planned our fuku items accordingly. AKA we took the trash out one less time last week so we'd have extra junk to throw in some boxes if needed.

I've been out of town the last couple of days for work but finally got to comment. I had just arrived into the hotel and was in the elevator and looked down at my watch and thought..."Midnight, I wonder what's on Meh???" I must have timed it perfectly because I had minimal waits and by the time I reached my hotel room, I had one. This is my fifth fuku(fuko). The only ones I've missed were the Kickstarter and the one where they had the computer glitch (but not for lack of trying).
I didn't think I would even score a Fuku! I just happened to be on my phone to look and see what was on Meh and seen the red bag and had my fingers crossed the whole time watching the green bar load over and over again. I was almost tempted to refresh the page it took so long I thought it had errrored out, but luckily it went through. Apparently Meh thinks I'm an assured lacking parent, gee thanks!

My dad used to use his GPS ALL the time even if he knew were he was going. When he moved out to Princeton (tiny town in Texas) one of the roads he took was FM 982 and his GPS would always say "Turn right onto Federated States of Micronesia 982"
