I got these during the Meh-rathon, same price, and I love em’! Gave one for a gift and just found out that the recipient also got another one that was a little smaller from his daughter. I know she most definitely paid more, Walmart is selling one of these, not two, for $60! I can’t wait to use mine at the pool and beach!
“Keeps drinks hot or cold for up to 12 hours” - but how does it know the difference?
Seriously though, It’s an interesting idea, but there’s still some things wrong about this item… At first I thought, but what about the cable, then realized it has a cable - well played;
Not Dishwasher safe, will probably blow up your dishwasher; If you actually remember to remove the battery half, the other end will fill with water
Doubtful it’s safe to leave in your 180F car, will probably blow up.
Probably not safe to have bouncing around in your bag, will probably blow up when it gets dropped the 17th time
It’s a good thing this showed up after xmas, I might have bought a pair
If only it had a tiny solar panel for self charging and a peltier junction for keeping things warm or cold. (Or even better, a thermoelectric configuration where boiling water could charge your phone)
The charging part of this is great. I have an old phone that’s wireless chargeable that I use to listen to music at night (so my real phone doesn’t wake me up). I use the battery to charge that phone. One of the tops leaked so I can’t use that one for travel (they refunded me the money, just warning others).

I don’t think there’s any active mechanism to warm/cool the contents. I assumed the 12 hours was just a result of insulating properties of the design
