Interesting study in psychology here. I would have bought 6 if I was not a VMP member to justify the $5 shipping. On the other hand, if I did not have free shipping I probably would not have bought any at all because I do not have $23 to waste on something I don't want, nor $11. But I DO have $6 to waste on something I don't want. In for two.
I just meh-ed my first meh, it wasn't even difficult, so I feel even more meh about the whole thing.. after my existential "K" crisis was resolved, I'm pretty much as meh as I can get. I also have mugs on the way too.
I've owned a few of these. They're great because the caps are leak proof, so you can fill it up and carry it in a messenger bag or something without fearing it will leak.
The "insulated" in the title is misleading, though. They don't keep a drink hot for very long at all (maybe an hour, if you're lucky). Thermos has much better leak proof mugs (easily keep coffee hot for 12 hours), but you definitely pay for it.
We have 3 of these already. They are the only mugs we've found that don't get water between the layers when you put them in the dishwasher. Also they are impossible to spill if the lid is tightened down. In for 4
I spend so much time telling strangers on Facebook what I'm doing ....then, all y'all need to know I just got two more travel mugs to go along with the plethora of others that I never use.
Hey my wife lost the cap to mine just like this.. so i will buy this and then have two replacement caps for my 1 cup.. Now granted this leaves all that steel from the other two cups but then if i buy two more I will have lids for those... then buy two more and those will have lids... You see how this works... Got one of these from that 'other' site a while back. Very nice mug, I'm in for more! The inside of mug is plastic, not stainless. Also - be careful when washing the lid. I lost the seal on my first one somewhere in the office sink. But I'm NOT going there.

Yep, Looks like the same one I have @JonT. The base removes for filling taller mugs, but even with that removed these are too tall. This is the first mug I have that doesn't fit. meh...
Anyone have the plastic part separate from the metal? I've already had one do that :( I know these have some Stanley that I'll just have to see how fun it will be to deal with.
@harrison I pulled it up out of my work bag today and was walking to the counter to set it down to get washed and the metal liner just fell to the floor. Inside of it looks just like that foam 'stuff' you spray in holes etc. I can only guess that the dishwasher helped do this even though it says its dishwasher safe.

The mugs are made for drinking, and that's just what they will do. one of these days other mugs are gonna drip all over you.
I bought 2. I think I'll like these better than my Contigo Auto-Seal stainless mug. It keeps the coffee very hot, but is hard to clean.
That "leak-proof" claim is what made the sale. I have lots of travel mugs but they all leak.
Thanks. Love my Thermos and was considering this for a backup-mug. Once you have the hot-for-hours experience, it's hard to go back.
If you brew good coffee there have been a few tests out there that say keeping coffee at a "too hot" temperature for to long ruins the taste

They are 7-7/8" high. They will not fit comfortably under a standard Keureg, but you can hold them at an angle underneath without leaking.
I guess I don't have a standard Keurig 'cause these will fit just fine. Solution if they don't - buy a new Keureg - cheaper than a new car.

Yep, I don't use the pedestal on my Keurig because I use travel tumblers for my coffee. These fit fine without the pedestal attached.
