If so, check to see that your state abbreviation is two upper-case letters and not one upper and one lower; i.e. it's "TX" not "Tx" y'all. We're working on the underlying quirk in the meantime.

Can we get vertical shirt measurements added to the sizing chart? My husband wears an XLT so I have not been able to buy him a shirt from the other place since they never fit him right. If you really want to prove your love and dedication, you'll start adding Tall sizes. Since you're pretty meh about this whole thing, I won't hold my breath, but can you at least add more measurements?

Does anyone have an idea how accurate the sizing chart is? I'm a men's medium on the chart, but I've bought many medium sized shirts that end up being too small. The large seems gigantic on the chart. Or does no one care? meh.

Got my shirts the other day, ordered a men's 3X and woman's L. they must have been in a hurry as I got two 3X and a single ladies L. The men's is a nice fit, the ladies is pretty small for a L.

Ah, but here's the package with my Day Zero meh shirt. I'd had the "brilliant" thought that at only $1 this was a great time to see if I liked the women's shirts better than my usual unisex men's order. Of course the shirt doesn't fit well, being too tight in the arms and hips. Why, oh why, didn't I order a second one in my usual size?!

I've been on vacation so I'm behind in posting but I did get my shirts, sizes are right on, bought one for my Mom, she's short so hers is now a sleep shirt, but mines perfect - I mean meh.
I went to a carnival at a county fair today. I wore my "meh." shirt. The ride operator of the tilt-o-whirl asked what it said. Was a 3 letter cursive word too much?
I haven't worn mine yet. I bought four (two with my account, two with husband's); there is one for each member of my family. I actually checked the size chart and decided the smallest woman's size would fit my kids (ages 7 and 9). I'm saving the shirts for the next gathering that we all have to attend together whether we want to or not. My kids have also said they want to wear them on the first day back at school.
wore mine while i was in virginia for a wedding. went to taco bell to get some food. asked the girl behind the counter, "how's your night going?". she looks at me, looks at the shirt and says, "meh".

I finally got around to washing our four Meh shirts and got my nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son to try theirs on. I bought them a woman's small after checking the sizing chart (and having some experience with AA). The shirts came out with the expected wrinkled/uneven hems at the sleeves and bottom, but they looked small. Smaller than I even expected (again, I've had experience with AA). I'm thinking I should have bought them mediums. haha Oh well, they'll be okay for our family excursions for a little while before they outgrow this 'adult' size.

@mdbaum I know the feeling. I haven't been an XL for a long time and it felt bad to go back but it's just for AA and GAP shirts so I'm going to say it's their problem and not mine while I continue eating these chips.
@mdbaum@iRattus I always size up in t-shirts because I like my casual to be comfortable. So with the AAs I figured I'd be safe with ordering two sizes up, but that still wasn't enough for comfort. Next time I'm going back to the men's shirts...at least that way, if I can't wear it, I can pass it on to one of my menfolk.

Order quirk: some of you may be getting messages that your cc isn't good when you've entered it correctly. If so, check to see that your state abbreviation is two upper-case letters and not one upper and one lower; i.e. it's "TX" not "Tx" y'all. We're working on the underlying quirk in the meantime.
I kept getting that message, and my state was auto-populated correctly based on my zipcode.
However, when I tried again and pretended that my shipping address is my billing address (it's not; it's a few blocks away), it worked.

Does anyone have an idea how accurate the sizing chart is? I'm a men's medium on the chart, but I've bought many medium sized shirts that end up being too small. The large seems gigantic on the chart. Or does no one care? meh.
How medium are you? American Apparel shirts tend to the small size, so if you're a corpulent Medium, maybe get a large.
So @tedknaz, you say they run on the small side? I'm probably on the small end of medium. 145 lbs, not really what I'd call corpulent.
I'm 170 and wear a medium, for what it's worth.

Got mine on Thursday. Wore one on Friday and one on Saturday. Even though he didn't know what it was for one of my friends thought it was an awesome shirt. Was having one of those "terrible, horrible, no good days." You know the kind filled with petty annoyances like uncooperative co-workers, late appointments, and the power going off while I was in the shower (we're on a well, so hurry, hurry).
Ah, but here's the package with my Day Zero meh shirt. I'd had the "brilliant" thought that at only $1 this was a great time to see if I liked the women's shirts better than my usual unisex men's order. Of course the shirt doesn't fit well, being too tight in the arms and hips. Why, oh why, didn't I order a second one in my usual size?!
While I'm wondering if anyone might want to trade or buy it, I am disheartened to find that in my eagerness to open the package I have apparently cut a little hole in the shirt. So now instead of a badge of honor, my shirt is reminder of disappointment.

I haven't worn mine yet. I bought four (two with my account, two with husband's); there is one for each member of my family. I actually checked the size chart and decided the smallest woman's size would fit my kids (ages 7 and 9). I'm saving the shirts for the next gathering that we all have to attend together whether we want to or not. My kids have also said they want to wear them on the first day back at school.

My mehiest time to wear my 'meh' shirt is when it's been crumpled at the bottom of my laundry basket for a week. And at the gym.
I finally got around to washing our four Meh shirts and got my nine-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son to try theirs on. I bought them a woman's small after checking the sizing chart (and having some experience with AA). The shirts came out with the expected wrinkled/uneven hems at the sleeves and bottom, but they looked small. Smaller than I even expected (again, I've had experience with AA). I'm thinking I should have bought them mediums. haha Oh well, they'll be okay for our family excursions for a little while before they outgrow this 'adult' size.
Way too small than what I expected, so in other words, just what I have learned to expect... another $7 wasted.

@mdbaum I know the feeling. I haven't been an XL for a long time and it felt bad to go back but it's just for AA and GAP shirts so I'm going to say it's their problem and not mine while I continue eating these chips.
@mdbaum @iRattus I always size up in t-shirts because I like my casual to be comfortable. So with the AAs I figured I'd be safe with ordering two sizes up, but that still wasn't enough for comfort. Next time I'm going back to the men's shirts...at least that way, if I can't wear it, I can pass it on to one of my menfolk.
