Doing my ex-goat duty of posting the daily poll thread.
I say more vintage or antique style lanterns! I loved the LitezAll ones that look like old kerosene lanterns, that have both flickering flame effect and white light.
@pakopako I have two sets (and probably more I haven’t found yet) of the ones that came with computers back then, but both have scratchy sound from the volume control. I’d take them apart and spray cleaner in the controls, but they’ll probably fall apart in the process. I ordered speakers that rest on your neck from Morning Save ($20) and I’ll see how they work. Thanks for the offer.
@andyw@pakopako I am personally of the belief that 5 volts DC at half an amp is not enough to power a decent audio amplifier. I have yet to meet a set of USB powered PC speakers that I liked.
@pakopako@PooltoyWolf Thanks for the advice and I fully agree that the speakers I am asking about will not sound great. They are for a desk in an office that is open to many and I will spending only a few hours a week in. Also, it is a crowded desk and the computer is theirs, not mine. At home I use AudioEngine 2 speakers that are pretty good for their size and purpose. Sometimes even the poor speakers “sound” better than they are because they bring a subliminal remembrance of how the music should sound and it increases my enjoyment.
It’s been a while since there was food that wasn’t some sort of weird special supplement or something, just tasty like stroopwafels or those Thai curry pouches you once had.
Actual kerosene lanterns, or wicks.
@brennyn Instabuy for the right price!
How about a nice fixed blade stabber!!
Not quite so aggressive, some decent baking pans would be nice …
Cooking utensils, like spatulas, etc. or some organic snacks?
Computer speakers-the decent and inexpensive kind.
@andyw you want some that need their own power wart or are USB powered? I may know someone somewhere.

Sorry @aetris, but there’s no way I’m clicking “like” on your comment.
@aetris OMFG, I vividly remember those ads. Mid-'70s. One season and they were gone-gone-gone.
@ItalianScallion
@werehatrack - Most of the fashions of the '70s were gone-gone-gone before they were advertised!
@aetris Were those costumes that the Village People rejected?
So I picked today’s item to sell next. That way I am right. Meh is selling it next - as in today.
