The hard earth yields no sustenance. The crows grow skeletal with hunger.

Now that’s not true, silly! I saw a couple of blossoms in my garden the other day! And the cardinals have been cheeping like the dickens at my bird feeder! Good thing this medium-weight comforter is good for springtime weather, too!

That reminds me, I better get a move on if I’m gonna use all this firewood! There’s nothing like making s’mores in the comfort of your own living room!
