A (pre)Birthday Me(rc)h-rathon

Tomorrow, July 9th, is our site’s official birthday. Today is the anniversary of our pre-launch party, when we let a select few Meh customers in for the first time. To celebrate, we’re doing a small Meh merch Meh-rathon. Or, a Me(rc)h-rathon. Eh?

Isn’t this just the perfect metaphor (or Meh-taphor) for our site: an empty Meh grocery bag, and and an empty Meh shirt.

We provide the vessel, but it’s you our loyal customers who fill it with everything that makes it special. After all, a bag without anything it it? That’s just a bag. But one filled with a week’s worth of groceries? That’s sustenance. That’s life. Same goes for the shirt. Unworn, it’s just a strange clump of fabric. On your body, it’s beautiful.

But also, without the bag, you just have a bunch of loose groceries. And without a shirt, you’re not allowed into most restaurants.

Not to make it about us, but we do is important, okay?
