"Smaller" shouldn't mean "weaker".
Let’s say you decide to mix up a smoothie, or some pesto, or some homemade baby food. You only need a little bit. So it’s silly to dirty up your full-size blender. Maybe you use your blender to do this a lot, so you want one that isn’t a huge hassle to get out and put away - or that you can just leave out without losing too much counter space. Point is, you want a smaller blender.
Does any of that equate to wanting a weaker blender?
It shouldn’t. You still need enough a motor with 1000 watts of power to chop up frozen berries, or ice cubes, or dense fruit like a pear or an apple. You need to smooth out that smoothie, to chop those nuts, to puree that puree.
Alas, many personal blender manufacturers don’t agree. To lower their prices and boost their profit margins, they think it’s perfectly acceptable to take away what makes a blender a blender in the first place: the power to blend stuff. It’s hard to fit a powerful motor in a tiny blender!
You won’t catch the Fusion people whining like that. The 1000W, 21,000 RPM motor is what makes this Fusion Xcelerator a real blender and not a piece of junk. Crappy ones chintz out somewhere in the mid-hundreds of watts. This one chops right through ingredients wet and dry, firm and squishy, from bananas to nuts to ice.
It’s smaller. In a good way. The 24-ounce, 18-ounce, and 12-ounce cups are just the right sizes for single servings of whatever you care to blend. No doubt the Fusion Xcelerator Personal Blender is smaller. But if hears you calling it weaker, well… you’re lucky you’re not a banana, or a nut, or ice.
