The “As seen on TV” mark gives me hesitation, as does the measly 60 day warranty. Can anyone vouch whether this is any good? And by good, I mean “it whoops the Magic Bullet’s ass and then some” good.
@Vancanwin Thanks. That explains the warranty (and the lack thereof) too. I’m passing.
@MehnofLaMehncha I’ve ran across some unused Magic Bullets in thrift stores before, hence it being my baseline. At $20-$30, that was “I need to think about this first” territory.
Crazy that we’re still talking about shit being BPA-free. Got two possible alternatives: BPA wasn’t that big of a deal, and no one should be afraid of it, or BPA is scary shit but there are a thousand very similar chemical compounds out there just as bad. Either way, BPA-free becomes a meaningless phrase.
@compunaut I know you’re just flipping me shit, but if your question was serious, even I can’t figure out a way to answer you thoroughly without pushing the limits so far as to have @Thumperchick consider giving me a vacation . . . So there’s that.
@Pavlov Just giving you the business
But since YOU brought up the Euros’ ‘skills’ as if they were somehow unique, I thought maybe you could give us a hint

I’m amazed that no one has yet mentioned Sarah, the dutchess who is plastered, or whose face is plastered, on the box. If you want to lose 55 pounds like Dutchess Sarah, this is the product for you. If that isn’t meh, I don’t know what is.
And wait a minute here. Meh now says, "And you bought…
69 of these.
About 3 items per hour.
That’s $2083 total."
In what peculiar nook of the universe is this true? The item has been up for less than 35 minutes, 69 have been sold, and that works out to 3 items per hour?
Sorry I haven’t been around much lately but with the way politics are these days I am working pretty much non stop. Since we are at a point in the election cycle where most are running on full “feeling and emotion” mode with none of the pesky facts to get in the way or have picked a side and don’t care what kind of monster gets shoved in as long as their team wins… well it means I can get back to recommending you get one of these fine Fusion Xcelerator 1000W Emulsifier and Personal Blender Set.
Wait… emulsifier… man I have been away too long… or the deep misleading world of politics has made me numb to convincing people they are buying an emulsifier when it’s clearly just an off brand ninja… ha! Off brand ninja… remember when ninja was the off brand?
Just buy it so they don’t keep trying to sell it.
Oh and get VMP, it’s such a good deal meh should run the postal service!
@f00l It’s a 10-star review; that’s a shitty review. The good stuff goes to 11. Or in the case of the really really really really really good stuff, 20.
@raster
Yes, a typical blender base will fit a standard (narrow) mason jar or Ball jar. Thus is how my wife and i make smoothies in the morning and take them with us to work. When done, give them a quick rinse and/or throw them in the dishwasher. Endless supply of them, and never have to get the blender pitcher dirty!
For blenders, I HIGHLY recommend the old style Ninja blenders, the kind with the motor that sits on top of the pitcher. Mine’s ~9 years old and still going strong. Not bad for $50 (I bought mine at Kohls, using their kohls’ cash, it really cost me $20!)
@Jamileigh17 yeah… gotta love the kind of deals you can score at Kohl’s using 30% off coupons and Kolh’s cash for items already on sale and/or marked down. And now there are the Yes2You rewards as well… I am looking at a Ninja for my wife at this time…
Oh oh: It arrived today. I got it as a shower gift thinking it would be great for making baby food. Instead, it comes packaged as a weight loss plan. THAT will not be popular with a new mom. Not happy …

My money is on baby arm in that fight!
Baby arm all the things!
Woohoo! I made it onto the daily Meh.com email. My life is complete.
For meh family- meh blended family ER blender family
Meh. Already have bella version and magic bullet.
Darn it! I could of bought this instead of that stupid Blendtec.
Mmm, emulsification, the secret to every successful dinner party.

@awk
Wanna successful dinner party? Accept an invitation.
/image curmudgeon
So…what exactly is an emulsifier, and why do I need one? (and yes, I know how to use google…)
@eeterrific It mixes oil and water. I think you need one to create mayonnaise, the most foul substance known to man.
@awk
Cuz if you ain’t using miracle whip, you’re missing out on life, padre.
@awk So…you’re telling me I should buy it if I want to slather something disgusting on somebody else??
The “As seen on TV” mark gives me hesitation, as does the measly 60 day warranty. Can anyone vouch whether this is any good? And by good, I mean “it whoops the Magic Bullet’s ass and then some” good.
@narfcake
Magic Bullet was a piece of shit product, so needs a MB-ass-whooping factor of 10 or so.
@narfcake I’ve Googled reviews and the majority (3) said after 60 days the motor slows down. 2 said they smell oil leakage. I’ll skip this one
@Vancanwin Thanks. That explains the warranty (and the lack thereof) too. I’m passing.

@MehnofLaMehncha At least it doesn’t say chemical free.
@sammydog01 or lead free
@medz or mercury free
BPA actually IS scary shit, @MehnofLaMehncha, but it mostly affects developing brains (kids, infants).

I personally prefer impersonal blenders. I don’t want to get involved. I also stay away from anything with “Euro” in the name.
@radi0j0hn Agreed. However, I wouldn’t go so far as to exclude Euro porn.
@Pavlov Isn’t it all the same under the sun? Or is there some specific attribute that is overlooked by the domestics?
@compunaut I know you’re just flipping me shit, but if your question was serious, even I can’t figure out a way to answer you thoroughly without pushing the limits so far as to have @Thumperchick consider giving me a vacation . . . So there’s that.

One might guess that Meh is accounting for the daily average?
69 (items sold)/24 (hours per day) = 2.875 (items per hour average)

Weird. Getting desktop layout on a mobile and I didn’t ask for it.
@mike808 landscape orientation, works every time for me.
I have a Magic Bullet, and it gets the job done, so I probably don’t need this.

@cshillaber Glad to see you back. The product threads just aren’t the same without your “honest review”.

@cshillaber
But so negative!
@f00l It’s a 10-star review; that’s a shitty review. The good stuff goes to 11. Or in the case of the really really really really really good stuff, 20.

Well it could use some family and career stories. Right now, kinda slacking. Poss out of practice?
you won’t like what you see: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2ft0zv
@cturnr no, i won’t like seeing a site that tries to load tons of malware, ass
@timujin uBlock origin. I was just looking for the clip:
Or, for $2 more you can get the Bella on Amazon which has a much better track record.

@mlord4 link for the lazy?
@this1 It’s literally jumped $3 in the past 10 hours because it was $30 this morning. But it still seems like the better deal.

Meh. Oh wait I can make margaritas alone at home. Now that sounds like a good idea!
@JonCBK Exactly!!!
@JonCBK @markobx I find I’m much better off when I skip the drinking alone, regardless of location

Will a standard mason jar fit this blender base, like a typical Hamilton Beach/Oster blender allows?
@mrdancer You can do that??
@raster

@mrdancer Thank you for this life-changing piece of information!!! I make a smoothie every day and HATE cleaning that damn blender pitcher!
So if I were to be mixing KNO3 into a fine powder, which blade should I use?
It’s just for a model rocket engine.
@wickhameh sure…
@markobx I know, right? It sounds really shady, but look up “sugar rocket” and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Blender required.
Well now that I have the paper shredder, how about that Meh auto feed scanner I’ve been searching for.
“Because what’s the point of a personal blender?” TFIFY
Where’s the Quad blade?
Meh, I just drop my ingredients into a container with one of my many Cheerson quadcopters and let er rip. Plus, this has no fancy flashing LED’s
Just buy the vitamix refurb. It will last years. Blends anything that needs blending…
Cost per year is not too bad. And it works.
So if I put a Fusion Xcelerator on the back of my DeLorean I won’t need weapons-grade plutonium anymore, right?
