We'll Be Brief

We sold these a few months ago in a 15-pack. Now, we’re selling them in a 9-pack, which feels like a far more manageable amount of boxer briefs. Enough so you have one for every day of the week, plus a pair for Monday morning when you realize, oh shit, you forgot to do laundry on Sunday afternoon, and another pair for Tuesday when you realize, dammit, you forgot AGAIN!

And, by the way, if the price seems steep, you should know that these things originally sold for $28… PER PAIR! Crazy, right? Perhaps they’re employing the Dan Flashes principle, which states: the more complex the pattern, the more expensive the clothing.

In other words, they look cool. But how are they to wear?

To answer that question, we turn to ‘Immunoman33’ who bought these last time we sold them and posted a review to Reddit. It’s quite an extensive breakdown, but here are a few key highlights:

  • “They are on the shorter side but I feel that helped with the bunching. they did tend to ride up a little in the groin region but because of the short inseam, it never became an irritation. I more so would just feel it riding up a little but once you get used to it, it feels like more of a feature than a problem. The waistband was forgiving and even after washes maintained it’s shape.”

  • “I’ve washed these a few times (regular wash cycles for respective colors, dried on low temp) and found that while they hold up on shape with non-noticeable shrinkage, a slight fading is noticeable.”

  • “I got a compliment on how they look from a female. I think they look great as well. The patterns that are least flattering are definitely the horizontal stripes. The red/grey pairs reminded me of Freddy Kreuger’s sweater.”

  • “These are great as normal workday/ daily activity. The bunching is minimal and it’s a nice soft ride. Having no fly in the trunk makes them somewhat annoying when using a urinal, but it gives you a chance to appreciate the soft inner band of the brief.”

  • “I play soccer twice a week and wore these and compared with my polyester briefs I usually use for working out/sports. same level of comfort but I would say these briefs are much more supportive than the polyester ones. These have cotton in them, so expect them to soak up sweat, but they dried relatively quickly.”

Immunoman33 concludes with what we said at the top: 15 pairs is a kind of a lot. So, luckily, we’re only selling 9 this time! Which is, to be fair, also a lot. But not as much. That’s something called math!
