A Sheet Time Of Year
Sure grip straps! Why didn’t anyone think of this before?! After all, there’s nothing worse than when you roll over in the middle of the night and rest your hand on bare mattress because the sheet has popped off the corner. Gross, right? Or vaguely uncomfortable, at least.
Are we starting with this one feature because these are sheets, and WTF are we really supposed to say about sheets?
Yes, absolutely.
But it really is a great time to buy sheets. It’s getting colder. The days are getting shorter. The leaves will explode in a beautiful array of oranges, yellows, and reds, before falling off, leaving the trees bare and skeletal. Everything will take on a dead gray tint soon enough. There will be snow and ice to contend with on the bleakest days. And the random warm afternoons will be even worse. Because warmth means melt. And melt means slush. And slush means wet feet and dirt tracked inside.
In other words, things are about to get REALLY COZY!
Because think about it: the nastier it gets outside, the comfier it gets inside by contrast. You can wear your pajama pants and old ratty sweaters around the house without shame. You can put on fluffy slippers. You can huddle up under a blanket on the couch and watch Netflix for days at a time. Also: you can lounge in bed as long as you want.
And sure, you can do all of this stuff any time of year, really. But it just FEELS better in the fall and winter, doesn’t it?
So why not kick off these months of shamelessly lounging around in bed with some nice, soft new sheets?
