Item concept fail: YETI Crossroads 16L Tote Bag
0Okay, so maybe these things might appeal to someone who’s so upscale that they think Williams-Sonoma is too prole, but for the kind of shopper that hangs out around the Meh family sites, a hundred-buck damn tote bag has to be a bit of a non-starter. And anything bearing the Yeti name really needs to be insulated enough to keep Walt Disney’s head from thawing out on a flight to Sydney (not that he’s going there anytime soon). These bags aren’t insulated at all, they’re just super-overweight and overbuilt nylon-ish canvas versions of an IRK bag, except smaller and without the amusing art work.
Who thought this was a good idea?

I’m going to guess all the customers who bought it and made it a customer favorite with their reviews thought it was a good idea? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Believe it or not, many customers have a need for a well made, high quality tote bag. Does the Yeti name on it add some price to it, of course, but at the end of the day, it’s a very nice bag.

@sammydog01 still alive and kickin’. Been busy trying to find some deals good enough to impress @werehatrack … I’ll try to come around the forums more often until you guys are sick of me again
I had to go check. Looks like a good travel bag. Or a tote one could grab for a picnic, etc. I’ve personally paid significantly more for my luggage (tote or carryon traditional luggage style) give how often I travel (well, pre covid)
I kept looking at them and kept talking myself out of it. Glad I never caved or did this.
