@yakkoTDIUnholy sheets, Robin. These are only half rayon, which would be bad enough, but the other half is the diabolical microfiber that drives a person to awaken sweaty and unrested, and renders them more likely to turn to a life of crime! That’s why we use only 100% cotton!
Got these a while back. Very thin and not very breathable. Not sure how I sweat in sheets this thin but I do. You were warned. Go 100% Egyptian cotton. Pay up they are AWESOME
Anything that advertises itself as being “breathable” is 100% going to make you sweat while you sleep. I renewed my Costco membership just so I could buy another set of their cotton sheets. Durable, soft, and won’t make you wake up feeling disgusting.
(okay fine, it was for the rotisserie chicken too)
@jakeline Be honest, it was also for the giant pack of the Kirkland bog rolls that are too big to fit in the 1950s-style in-wall roll holders, wasn’t it? (Because two rolls will do an entire lawn…)
@jgoldshlag And if you have an actual use for plastic sheets, like covering a hole in your roof, or a bed-wetter, these aren’t plastic enough for that!
@bek8806 Without shipping costs, the courier company wouldn’t be compensated for its services. Consequently, it wouldn’t deliver the products to your address.
I always thought cotton sheets (sometimes with sateen blends) were the peak of reasonable comfort, but a friend convinced me to try real bamboo sheets, and I will never use anything else during warm weather again. So soft, so much heat dissipation.
With some cool nights coming around, I swapped on some 500TC sheets a couple weeks ago. There have been a few warmer days/nights since, and I can now confidently say the bamboo sheets alone increase my “sleep comfortably” range by 3-4F.
The sheets for sale today are not bamboo, so I’m not saying you should buy them. But I do recommend trying some real ones.
The sheets I love are Target Threshold brand. Not only are they cotton, they have BY FAR the best corners in the business. I just can’t believe the elastic on these suckers, and I don’t know why every manufacturer doesn’t copy it.

Holy sheet Batman!

@werehatrack 100% cotton also makes me sweat. I don’t turn off my fan until it drops to about 65 in the house.

LEGOS! EGGOS! STRATEGO! AWESOME!
@mediocrebot BotBotBotBottomdweller
@bugger @mediocrebot Hey now, the bot only does what it’s told to do. Which probably embarrasses it.
you’re an all-star
@bugger @mediocrebot @werehatrack Sadly he got over he fear of ants.
@bugger @mediocrebot @werehatrack @yakkoTDI
But he’s self-aware - Mediocrebot is an asshole.
Only cotton. Never again microswetting.
There’s bamboo in rayon to exactly the same degree that there is dead plankton in petroleum.
My first thought was “Hey, a new Halloween custome.” Then I saw the last picture. Drat, folded again.
@hchavers Fold me once, shame on you. Fold me twice… you won’t be folded again.
/image george w bush fool me
@hchavers Isn’t that supposed to be “Curses! Folded again!”

@jakeline Exactly. They are the best sheets!! But, they are almost alway low or out of stock so grab them when you can

Is rayon stain resistant? Asking for a friend
@mexicantacos No.
“Material: 49.99% Rayon from Bamboo / 49.99% 105 GSM Microfiber”.
And a 99.99% meh experience guaranteed.
And I guess the other 0.02% is dead plankton.
@phendrick Now I understand the prices!
$29.99 is money, and 0.01% is dead plankton.
I don’t understand the demand for plastic sheets. Who buys this shit?
@jgoldshlag And if you have an actual use for plastic sheets, like covering a hole in your roof, or a bed-wetter, these aren’t plastic enough for that!
@jgoldshlag They’re only mostly plastic
@jgoldshlag @Pufferfishy 49.9%, so only largely plastic.
I dunno if that’s worse…
Bamboo? Yep. Nope! See you tomorrow…
I got these a few years ago from meh and they ripped pretty quickly. Save your money.
@chibisara Wow you must have been rough housing it on your bed for them to rip
Do the straps hold in the moisture so they’re extra sweaty?
@Pufferfishy The straps hold you down to make sure you stay sweaty.
Perfect for your new mattress from…
shipping makes this deal a bust…
@bek8806 Without shipping, the products wouldn’t arrive at your address.
@Rowsdower Thanks for the obvious. Shipping COST - should be understood.

No lo hagas, son terribles!
I need deeeeeeep pocket King Cali, i hopped on the vintage sheets last year and they’re ok but they slip off the mattress

For this price it’s worth the gamble no matter the scrutiny
