Everybody Loves Ramen

Why should you buy this? As in, why should you buy a bunch of ramen? Well, it’s simple. See title: everybody loves it. And by ‘it’ we mean ramen in general. Schmancy elevated ramen ordered at a Michelin-star restaurant? Sounds delish. Bargain bin ramen cups eaten while sitting on a dorm room floor? Also sounds delish.

But Samyang Buldak noodles? As in, the kind we’re selling today? People don’t just love it. They really, REALLY love it.

Of course, for longtime Meh customers, this isn’t news. It’s one of the only things we sell with some frequency that no one gets tired of.

If, however, you’re just dropping by our fair site for the first time, and you’re like, “What’s the big deal?” allow us to share this review from Indya Harrington over on Amazon (where, we should note, this stuff gets a 4.4 out of 5 based on over 93,000 ratings):

It’s almost too hot for me to finish but I always end up finishing anyway. The sauce is MAD delicious and smells great and the combo of the sauce and noodles are inseparable and amazing! Sure it burns my lips and tongue and inside of my mouth, makes me sweat, have blurry vision, hallucinate and have cramps and chest pain but it’s soooooo worth it, these taste like bliss hope they never remove these off the market if they do I’ll be sooooo upset! Yesterday I had a pack and I ate three big bites so fast and I hallucinated the room getting smaller and smaller and me floating around, these are no joke! 5/5. I like these better than most noodles in the samyang market

Obviously, this is a bit tongue-in-cheek. Or maybe inflamed-tongue-in-swollen-cheek. At least, we hope so. Otherwise, yikes, Indya! Still, the point made is an important one: yes, this stuff is spicy as all hell, but it also tastes good. We say this because there exists a large subset of spicy food culture where it’s not a little pain and a lot of flavor. It’s a lot of pain as the only flavor. This is not one of those things. It delivers layer upon layer of deliciousness even as it makes you cry.

So get some if you’re somebody who loves ramen. Which, as we’ve established, is everybody.
