Give the people the Bubba they want.

We never know what’s gonna get you people hot and bothered - or cool and bothered, depending on what you like to drink. But the last time Bubba stopped by, you slurped up these insulated bottles like a thirsty man in a desert who also hadn’t had his morning coffee yet. We had no idea we’d move nearly 4,000 two-packs, or that cups could inspire such frankly deranged levels of passion. To wit:

“TRULY THE GREATEST. GO-CUPS. EVER.” said shubydoo in a fit of Bubba-induced caps-lock. “Even after sitting in the hot car all day, opened it up and drank cold water from it. Amazing,” marveled eric2014. “Everyone is trying to steal mine and I’m not sharing,” warned hippiechik.

The only real complaint - if you can even call it that - is that those Bubba bottles were a little too much Bubba sometimes. Like when you’re trying to fit them under the tap of a small sink. Or into the drink-holder space in a cramped car.

So we’re zeroing in on optimum Bubba with this slightly smaller Bubba. It’s 20 ounces instead of 24, so you still get plenty to drink. But it’s half an inch shorter with the cap on, and a whopping inch-and-a-quarter shorter with the cap off. Its diameter is half an inch smaller, too, which can make the difference between fitting into a car cup holder and having to nestle it between your knees on the driver’s seat.

Packing all the double-walled insulation into a slightly more compact package, this li’l Bubba can go where its bigger brother cannot. This perfect insulated bottle is now even more perfect.

Oh, there was one other “complaint”. “The liquid I put inside stayed too hot for too long,” moaned TheOneAlex. We’ve got a solution for that, too: buy a crappier travel mug.

Otherwise, it’s Bubba all the way! Or 83% of the way, which might be even better.
