@mbills2223 Actually, my several Bubba tumblers have been the best I have ever used among many other tumblers. I know there are some better ones out there, but none I have tried have come even close to keeping coffee hot as long as my Bubba tumblers. If these are anything like my others, they are outstanding. In for four - one or two for me, and others as gifts.
@obxer I saw this when it was too late, and now I really want one (or two, I guess)...maybe if I try really hard @mehcus will let me buy some!...Bath??? @JonT
Ever since I bought the last pair of tumblers I have vowed never ever again to buy those whose threads are in the inside of the vessel. They suck so much. My wife even stole the one thermal I have that has the threads on the outside because it's just so much better than these shitty inner threaded ones.
@DrunkCat I didn't notice the difference in the threading and lids until now. I just saw bubba and similar lids and got excited. What were the issues you experienced with inner threads?
@PurplePawprints It's a beautiful feeling knowing you can top off your tumbler without making a freakin' mess. It's also a lot easier to clean and less place for gunk to hide.
@DrunkCat so the issue is those inside threads make graceful pouring in to another vessel a mess? I guess that makes sense. Thankfully our family is uncultured folks who drink directly from the top.
@RedOak@DrunkCat I just had a long reply typed and was proofing it before posting when the page reloaded on me. Ugh. TL;DP version is that the old bubbas force me to drink with the lid on and the new ones may let me drink with the lid off, as I prefer, if it doesn't lose too much heat.
@PurplePawprints the forum hiccuped for me as well on the soda survey page a few minutes ago. After I hit "say it", longgg pause.... delay... blank page.... gave up and back-arrowed. Luckily the comment was still there ready to "Say it" again. Clicked and it worked. @shawn
@Pony For me with at least one purpose, these 20 ounce ones are perfect. It's $0.99 to fill up a 20 or less ounce cup at the local squishymart, but $1.59 for a 21+ ounce cup. Of course, if I really wanted to save money I'd get the 72 ounce one of these...
In for three sets! These are amazing! I use one of the larger ones for my coffee every single day even though it's almost too big to hold one-handed. I'm so thrilled about these! I might put some away for gifts, but mostly I'm going to hog them all.
I absolutely loved the 24 oz, version, and I am sure I will love these as well. I was so impressed this morning, I poured my coffee at 5:00 am and it was still very warm when I finally decided to drink it at 12:30 pm.
@heartny I don't know what's going on with Meh and their lack of purple items for sale. We may have to join @mfladd's Occupy Meh movement just to get their attention. But I have to mow my lawn first.
I bought the bubba 2-for-Tuesday vacuum sealed drink thermos thingies back in July. They work really well, so I'd imagine these are of a similar caliber.
Bought the 24 oz ones a few weeks back ...hate them! Tilt the tumbler back to get a sip and you get just a trickle of coffee. Hardly worth the effort .
@jmbunkin Are you sure the air hole isn't plugged? Because I've not had that problem with any of the ones I bought except one time when liquid was caught in the little air hole between the cap and the drinking hole.
@jmbunkin If you like to fill yours with lots of small / crushed ice like me, then sometimes the ice blocks up the vent and will slow the flow substantially. This is morenoticeable when it's still half full, but is more ice than liquid and you tilt it almost up side down.
Yay! I missed out last time. When I squealed with glee at tonight's sale, my husband just knew it must be something like tumblers. I have an addiction.
@jaremelz Me too. I'm already waiting for the, "More coffee mugs? You don't need more coffee mugs!" (My husband doesn't make the distinction between mugs, tumblers, travel mug, thermoses, etc).
@primrosewater exactly! Plus, there are camping ones, road trip, cycling (yes, sometimes I ride so damn early that I drink coffee instead of water) and so on!
I wish these had been offered first. I bought a pair of the 24 oz tumblers last time, but they're too big for my car's cup holders and I'm not sure I can rationalize another $12.
@PhysAssist Agreed. The 24 oz ones fit my cup holders just fine, so I need some short fats that can hold more and sit on my work desk without fear of tipping over, since I don't always snap the lid shut.
I really like the 24 ounce Bubba mugs I got last time. They keep coffee hot for 7+ hours. The only thing they lack is the one-handed spring closure of the Contigo Autoseal mugs. I got the Contigo's in both 12 ounce and 14 ounce sizes. When can we have an Autoseal mug in a 24 ounce size? That way, when I set it down on my desk, I don't have to remember to close the lid. That not only keeps my bosses happy, it lets me bring enough coffee from home that I never have to drink the dreck they make at work.
@trisk I think, assuming the lids are made like the 24-ounce version, that it's fairly unlikely unless they're jostled hard and a book catches on the lip of the lid cap or something. I'm not sure I'd completely trust it in a bag with electronics, though.
@SSteve if they don't fit then your car has 'wimpy' holders. Even the 24s fit every single holder in our primary trip vehicle. And these 20s are smaller diameter than the 24s. ;-)
I just bought these a couple weeks ago. They work pretty good. How come they are back already? How come the meh supporters are more interesting then the actual stuff meh sells?
@mick You may be mistaken. The ones sold a couple weeks ago were the 24 ounce versions. These are the smaller 20 ounce ones that will actually fit in your car's cup holder.
@mick They are 'back' because the vast majority of us said we loved them and would buy more, especially if they were a little smaller. Also, I think these are pretty interesting based on they're ability to actually keep liquids at their starting temp for hours and hours.
@RedOak Oh no! I really wish you hadn't mentioned me and inadvertently brought my incorrect usage of 'their' to my attention. That's going to bother and embarrass me for the rest of the day. But yeah, I agree with you and stuff.
@cengland0 You are right, the size is different. They fit our cars cup holders though, the bigger ones I mean. I still say, the meh supporters comments are much more interesting then the products meh sells.
@PurplePawprints My Dad carried a thermos back in the 60's . Kept his stuff hot or cold for hours. These are not as heavy as the ones back in the day, but they are nothing new. Still a thermos.
My whole family loves the ones I bought last time. I am always so amazed and impressed with cold drinks staying cold. I haven't tried hot beverages yet, but will in the winter. So, I'm in for the blue ones...... watery-mystical-giant
Wow, I feel honored that I was mentioned in a write-up!! (even with my typo'd username, haha) These might possibly be even better than the last ones, because it looks like these will actually fit in my cup-holders. In for two more sets, likely to be followed by another one! juicy-filthy-nut
How does the hot/cold retention compare with the 24 oz model? Is it similar? I did not see any mention of this bubbas heat migration prevention prowess.
OK, was trying not to buy these 20s since we have the 24s and love them enough already. But they're too tempting as Christmas gifts.
Normally while on hiatus from VMP, I'd resist. But Meh was so professional in automatically crediting back my unused VMP 5 bucks when I cancelled it earlier in the month, I jumped back in the pool. VMP clock-restarted.
@RedOak - Same here on the VMP. I bought these because of the reviews on the 24-ouncers. Just hope it's not the pillows again (glowing reviews on first sale, bought second time then the complaints started). Hmmm - squealing-opportune-loss does not bode well.
Our 20's just arrived today. These might be even nicer than the 24's that we already love. Cleaner, less bulgy design - although that bulky 24 design has its tough-looking benefits.
And the blue is a really nice subtle, steely (stainless steely?) blue.
-That vinyl/rubberish bottom makes it less slippy on hard surfaces vs. the all stainless bottom of the 24's.
-The breather/vent hole is also further away from the drink hole (closer to the center axis of the cylinder) vs. the 24's, perhaps making for a less gurgly fluid exit?
@RedOak I love my 24s, except they dont fit in my cup holder. and i have a full sized pickup. you'd expect a decent sized cup holder. Had I picked up the 20s I would likely toss out all of the coolgear and contigos that I've picked up in the last year.
I think I only ordered one set of blue 20oz tumblers. They arrived earlier in the week. Today a Meh box arrived with a Groupon sticker on it with two more blue 20oz tumblers. Wat?
I've had a few days with my blue 20 oz tumblers, and they are SO much better than the 24 oz tumblers that I'm practically mad at meh for selling the 24 oz ones in the first place. Obviously, the 20 oz fit in your car's cup holder when the 24 oz did not, but that's not the only improvement. The 20 oz has a silicone bottom for stability, a more comfortable shape to hold, a wider opening that's easier to put ice into, and the lid is also better. The only slight drawback is the threads for the lid being on the insider of the tumbler rather than the outside like the 24 oz, but that's nothing compared to the improvements.
@versabox I disagree. Both models have their advantages. Love them both. The 24 oz is great to take to the kids' sporting events. Lots of capacity.
'Had some iced coffee in our 24 oz and accidentally left it out in 90 degree sun for an hour. Could barely touch the outside it was so hot. But the coffee inside was nice and cool!
@versabox it's for me! And it's typically filled with iced coffee! 52 oz? I don't think so. ;-) The kids' teams have their liquid needs taken care of. Free sponsored Gatorade.
While using one of the tumbler, I noticed 2 small rusty spots inside it which got me worried. I therefore checked another one as well but it seems to be fine. I like the product and was wondering how can I exchange the one with rust?
My family loves their coffee and are always looking for ways to travel with it. I purchased these for my wife and daughter and they LOVE them. Both have commented how they can take their coffee to work and it stays hot to the last drop. They fit very nice in the cars. And they do not leak. I love how the seal is still tight(meaning difficult to open) after over six months of daily use.

@lichme Bubba Dump as in....shit product
@lichme
It's like Thermos brand but no where near as nice
@mbills2223 Actually, my several Bubba tumblers have been the best I have ever used among many other tumblers. I know there are some better ones out there, but none I have tried have come even close to keeping coffee hot as long as my Bubba tumblers. If these are anything like my others, they are outstanding. @obxer I saw this when it was too late, and now I really want one (or two, I guess)...maybe if I try really hard @mehcus will let me buy some!...Bath??? @JonT
@mbills2223 No bath's on my watch
@MEHcus Then perhaps a quick shower by holding a couple of Bubba tumblers over his head?
@MEHcus wait so I'm getting a watch...?
I'll drink to this...water that is!
@AttyVette It's a hot deal, isn't it? I'm in for tea ... -er, I mean three!
@narfcake hey great minds think alike..hehe I see you and I both posted hot deals apparently at the same time..
I WANT CHINESE CRAP WHILE THE MARKETS ARE TANKING, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ever since I bought the last pair of tumblers I have vowed never ever again to buy those whose threads are in the inside of the vessel. They suck so much. My wife even stole the one thermal I have that has the threads on the outside because it's just so much better than these shitty inner threaded ones.
@DrunkCat Other than being possible to overfill, is there a big difference?
@DrunkCat I didn't notice the difference in the threading and lids until now. I just saw bubba and similar lids and got excited. What were the issues you experienced with inner threads?
@PurplePawprints It's a beautiful feeling knowing you can top off your tumbler without making a freakin' mess. It's also a lot easier to clean and less place for gunk to hide.

Hot deal?.thermal ...
Meh. If it was the 24 Oz ones, I would totally buy them again.
@Pony You wanna buy mine? One of mine is unused and the other has only been used for water.
@versabox Only if you offer VMP shipping. ;)
@Pony I could swing $12 w/free shipping... but please don't live on the West Coast :P.
@versabox Pacific Northwest! ~superiority dance~
@Pony LOL, I just did some quick shipping calculations to Seattle and the cheapest option was like $11. RIP.
In for three sets! These are amazing! I use one of the larger ones for my coffee every single day even though it's almost too big to hold one-handed. I'm so thrilled about these! I might put some away for gifts, but mostly I'm going to hog them all.
We just used the larger ones on a road trip. Really great, but a little large for my wife's hands. Gonna get these.
Even though I haven't used all the 24oz. ones yet, I find myself ordering more. Curse you, @mfladd!
@narfcake I didn't get the last ones (24 oz. ones) sold back in July but ordered two sets tonight..cheers to you too!!!
I absolutely loved the 24 oz, version, and I am sure I will love these as well. I was so impressed this morning, I poured my coffee at 5:00 am and it was still very warm when I finally decided to drink it at 12:30 pm.
@conandlibrarian usually my coffee is still too hot to drink after for hours. I love these but i don't think i need more.
Looks like the ones Dunkin Donuts is selling
Ut oh. Meh, are you trying to start Tumbler Tuesdays?
@Zypher Speaker docks, Knives, and Tumblers.
@Zypher yes there is "fall out" over it though
@kazriko Oh My!
Hey @Barney the amazon linked ones have purple lids :)
Not sure its worth the cost, but... purple!
@thismyusername I love purple, but not at that price.
@Barney Meh is not offering a purple version. For that alone, meh. I guess they didn't hear our plea for purple.
@heartny I don't know what's going on with Meh and their lack of purple items for sale. We may have to join @mfladd's Occupy Meh movement just to get their attention. But I have to mow my lawn first.
@Barney Or we could just blame @mfladd and call it a day.
@PurplePawprints Checked my hole and it's clear ! I've only tried one of the tumblers so maybe the other will work better. Thanks for the feedback
@jmbunkin Awww, I was hoping that was the issue. Well, hopefully when you try another you'll find that it works properly. Good luck!
@jmbunkin If you like to fill yours with lots of small / crushed ice like me, then sometimes the ice blocks up the vent and will slow the flow substantially. This is morenoticeable when it's still half full, but is more ice than liquid and you tilt it almost up side down.

My last Bubba kept my coffee warm during a 2.5 turned 7 hour journey when my car broke down. I was legitimately impressed.
I wish these had been offered first. I bought a pair of the 24 oz tumblers last time, but they're too big for my car's cup holders and I'm not sure I can rationalize another $12.
@versabox It's only $12. For two cups!
@mcanavino I don't need 2 though, just 1 for myself. :foreveralone: Besides, a penny saved...
Ugh, in for an order, but only because my VMP is expiring this week.
@versabox oh good I'm not the only one

We loved the 24 ouncers @ $12. Even tho we don't really need the smaller size because those 24s fit our cupholders, these 20s are tempting.
But checking the math first:
20oz divided by 24oz times $12 = $10. Why not priced at 10 bucks instead of 12 bucks?
@RedOak it's the @jont vacation tax.
@RedOak Maybe they didn't get as good of a deal?
@RedOak
Or they may be testing the waters to see what the market will bear after the other ones sold so well.
If these were the larger ones, or even better, some 30 or 32 oz ones we'd be in like Flynn, but the last thing we need is smaller ones.
@PhysAssist Agreed. The 24 oz ones fit my cup holders just fine, so I need some short fats that can hold more and sit on my work desk without fear of tipping over, since I don't always snap the lid shut.
KuoH
In for 2 more Bubbas. These things are awesome! Thanks Meh!!!
I have no need for these but after all the love for the bigger Bubbas I have to get them.
Love the 24oz & was wishing for a smaller version. Thanks Meh!

Are these made in China?
How likely are these to pop open inside a bag or backpack?
@trisk I think, assuming the lids are made like the 24-ounce version, that it's fairly unlikely unless they're jostled hard and a book catches on the lip of the lid cap or something. I'm not sure I'd completely trust it in a bag with electronics, though.
@trisk They do snap closed firmly.
@trisk 'not sure I'd trust any liquid vessel that did not have a completely sealed screw top in a pack.
That's what those funky mesh-pockets on the outside of the pack are for.
When they get down to 16 ounces I'm in.
@SSteve whimpy drink. Simply fill these with 16 ounces and nobody will discover you. ;-)
@RedOak Ok, fine. prudish-warm-cushion
It had better fit in my cup holder.
@SSteve if they don't fit then your car has 'wimpy' holders. Even the 24s fit every single holder in our primary trip vehicle. And these 20s are smaller diameter than the 24s. ;-)
@RedOak I shall rest assured.

@PurplePawprints Yep, I'd call that pretty darned customer-mehsponsive for meh.
@RedOak Oh no! I really wish you hadn't mentioned me and inadvertently brought my incorrect usage of 'their' to my attention. That's going to bother and embarrass me for the rest of the day. But yeah, I agree with you and stuff.
@PurplePawprints It happens to everybody. Those who say it doesn't are liars. Those who don't realize it happened are oblivious.
@PurplePawprints Maybe if you defend @JonT from his legion of detractors while he's on vacation he'll fix it for you when he gets back.
@SSteve
@PurplePawprints
@tightwad thankfully we didn't have one of those here. Only understanding thoughts.
@cengland0 You are right, the size is different. They fit our cars cup holders though, the bigger ones I mean. I still say, the meh supporters comments are much more interesting then the products meh sells.

Do the lids of the 24-ounce models fit the 20-ounce versions?
@pableaux I wouldn't think so, because the threading is different. Maybe @hollboll or @Mehcus could check?
@pableaux @PurplePawprints The lids are totally different sizes and threading, so they won't work together.
@Moose Many thanks!

How does the hot/cold retention compare with the 24 oz model? Is it similar? I did not see any mention of this bubbas heat migration prevention prowess.
@miko1 I didn't get a chance to fill it up and test it on my patio like before, but it looks and feels like it would be the same.
@Moose Ok, I'll try the blue ones then. Thanks.
OK, was trying not to buy these 20s since we have the 24s and love them enough already. But they're too tempting as Christmas gifts.

Just got my tumblers today..ordered the 20oz but got 24oz instead...
@suedogg Lucky you, free upgrade!

I hope I get the 20oz, because the 24oz is a bit too large to fit everywhere. :(
Our 20's just arrived today. These might be even nicer than the 24's that we already love. Cleaner, less bulgy design - although that bulky 24 design has its tough-looking benefits.
And the blue is a really nice subtle, steely (stainless steely?) blue.

@marklog hmmm. Our primary trip vehicle is the king of cupholders - a minivan. A Honda Odyssey. The 24's fit in every single cupholder. ;-)
@marklog
@Ryaneil nice gif, OG.
@Ryaneil Fords rule!
OG... Olive Garden? That does sound good; I'll pull my cup liners out so our bubbas fit.
@Ryaneil Original Goat!
OK my/ bubba mugs came! Road trip!
Any chance they will come back? I managed to miss both the 24 and the 20 oz versions.
@FlyingPencil you can BET ON IT! meh.. home of speaker docks, knives, and water bottles!!!
@FlyingPencil next up - 12/14/16 oz versions...
I think I only ordered one set of blue 20oz tumblers. They arrived earlier in the week. Today a Meh box arrived with a Groupon sticker on it with two more blue 20oz tumblers. Wat?
@xarous And I thought I was a sucker for a great online deal. We have a problem.
@xarous Groupon sticker?? And the return address was Meh?
@Pamtha like this
@xarous perhaps not surprisingly excess inventory originally destined for sale by Groupon.
Noticed Staples was also selling a two-pack of the 24 oz'rs recently.
@RedOak I agree with your fundamental thought, but 24 oz is nearly enough for something like that. Bring out the 52 oz monster!
@SAQ18 The first post in every product thread has a spot that lets you know the warranty information. Here's the info for this one:
I hope they get you taken care of!
My family loves their coffee and are always looking for ways to travel with it. I purchased these for my wife and daughter and they LOVE them. Both have commented how they can take their coffee to work and it stays hot to the last drop. They fit very nice in the cars. And they do not leak.
