I never scored a fuko ever and reading the reveal thread for the final one is so painful. I would’ve been happy with a box of crap just for the sake of it. Oh well.

@PlacidPenguin Every year for the last several I have had hundreds and hundreds hang out in and on my car. Despite trying to liberate them (repeatedly) many of them still die. Last year my office and some of the classrooms were overrun as well. (and my office with wasps - no I did not work outdoors and no the windows did not open).
I did have a blue bird and cardinal incident though some years ago. Window was open. I was in bed trying to still pretend I was asleep. My then 2 cats (who died some years ago) were on the window sill watching a blue jay dive bomb a cardinal who was on the flowering tree outside my window. Cardinal was not giving ground. From maybe 6’ away cats were doing that high pitched teeth chattering thing with tails thwacking back and forth. Blue jay, since he couldn’t scare off the cardinal, abruptly dive bombed with window screen swerving at the last second. Cats scattered and took up residence under the bed, then scooting back under, bellies to the ground, like the devil was after them when I tried to get them to settle on the bed. Eventually the Blue Jay settled on the telephone wire close by making a racket. Cardinal, satisfied he won the tree eventually flew off.
I’ve never gotten one,either. I’ve pretty much given up. I did buy the T-shirt and bag combo, which is probably the best part of the fuko so I guess I can pretend I got one.
I baked a most amazing cake…then let my mom post it, because she’s never scored a Fuko (she lives in the boonies with crap internet.) But, there was no response from the Meh-Lords. I suppose I could give her a box of random crap from my apartment…but it just isn’t the same.
@QuietDelusions Not sure, but I don’t think Meh is through judging everything, so don’t give up yet. Also, have her or (maybe you for her) go to the “Do You Deserve a Fuko?” thread. It’s worth a try.

Seriously, though, it IS an amazing cake and Barney’s right that no prizes have been awarded yet. I still entertain hopes myself in that thread (although I did score in the “Entertain Me” discussion).

Count me in group. I tried hard and really wanted one of the last. It still burns but I’ll get over it. I’ve gotten about 4 out of the whole time meh has existed. Missed the very 1st and the very last. The ones I got were filled with junk that was broken or missed so many pieces, to replace them you might as well buy the item new. Hoping I’d be one of the few who really got something decent just wasn’t in the cards. So,I’ll just deal with my bitter burn until it fades away. Kind of bummed. Actually, when the fuko in my cart was processing it signed me up for VMP. I selected VMP option for the shipping. So, even though the fuko order didn’t go through the VMP did!
I purchased a speaker dock on Sunday and I was surprised to see shipping at $0 because I was a VMP. I got a little excited thinking the fuko order went through but when I checked my order page, I was denide a second time.

The one that just arrived 10 minutes ago that I paid for (not one of the ones I’ve won) had two pairs of socks and a set of Adventure Time cups in it. That’s it. The one before that, from a few months ago, just had a pack of USB Hubmen and a set of postcards or something.
Hoping that Meh is incompetent, and that I’ll actually get something useful out of the next one(s), or else they will basically deliver what they promised and what was advertised (disappointment)

I mean, I could be the middle penguin by having them shipped to me and then figuring out how to get them to you, but that would require some effort on my behalf.

I’ve come to accept that the crushing disappointments with meh products on Meh are a feature. Not getting a BoC at the old place or a Fuko here -makes it- the place I want to be. If the Chase was too easy or the payoff too great, then it wouldn’t be Meh. Example of too easy: Morningsave would have Fukos a week after they showed up here.
Bought one this time, won 3 more. Received a handful of crappy, already returned broken stuff and too many Trip Glasses. I have to admit, I was a little frustrated that every time I’d get something that could have been cool it was already broken. (Dirty broken robot vac, broken Ninja 3 in 1 Cooking System, etc.) I mean, it’s pretty bad when a BoC from woot is actually of more value. However, I’m still grateful for the angst and anticipation awaiting their arrivals and really do appreciate the fun and generosity of @ChadP. As Master FukIRK, he deserves a nice long paid vacation. (Possibly to a return/refurbishing center of his choosing.) It’s amazing how much this site and the people here have wormed their way into my heart.

If I were really committed I would set timers like I used to at woot. (and I never got a BoC that way either!) Maybe I’ll get lucky and snag some random trash. But I’ve basically lost hope.
