Last night I had a dream where I took my son’s rabbit and I was going to cut it into strips to use for fish bait. I really have no idea where that came from.
I usually don’t have weird dreams, they’re very boring. Every now and then people will be in places where I don’t know them from. But on the whole, they are a snooze-fest.
I haven’t had any dreams I remember in quite some time
I wish I would have some weird dreams I remember - I love them.
p.s. If you deep fried those rabbit strips you could probably sell them as clam strips and no one would be the wiser about it - based on the people who eat them
@jst1ofknd@narfcake@Thumperchick I essentially wake up every day to my wife telling me “Yeah you spent the whole night groping me”. To which I honestly reply “Uhhhh… I don’t remember any of this”. Apparently this has been happening on a consistent basis lately. Before anyone tries to say "Rape! or “Assault” ", which is understandable, we have the talk before we go to sleep that it is consensual. She then tells me what I say too and it makes no sense. This weekend she said that in the middle of the night I started telling her “Give me those nipples!”
@JnKL@jst1ofknd@narfcake@shahnm@Thumperchick Yeah… The only problem was that apparently she didn’t like how rough I was and how much I was biting and she wanted to sleep the next morning I wondered why I had fingernail marks on my hand and then… It all made sense.
I don’t often dream, or at least I don’t remember them anyway.
When I was a teenager I had a crazy dream. Jaws from James Bond was chasing me around my neighborhood with a syringe. The chase went on for a long time, with me running frantically and narrowly escaping him several times.
Finally, he caught me and stuck me in the side with the syringe. I woke up and my side actually hurt. I reached down and my hand came back with a little blood on it. I pulled a thumbtack out of my side–it had fallen out of a poster on the wall next to my bed, and I must have rolled over on it.
So one of two crazy things must be true: this whole dream that lasted what felt like hours happened in the instant between me rolling on the thumbtack and feeling the pain, or my brain knew about the tack, could predict the future, and built a dream around me rolling into it.
I had a dream the Red Hot Chili Peppers we’re playing a concert for me. They demanded that I play the bass for Snow. I don’t know how to play the bass, but they managed to teach me. They were going to give me a guitar as a present but they took it away after handing it to me. (I assume this is linked to the impractical jokers sketch where they have Q stop auctioning his guitar mid auction)
This then leads to them giving me like a zip up hoodie and a rock band guitar for PS3.
I dream a a lot. I probably remember 2-3 dreams a week. They are mostly weird. Since I had surgery and have been taking drugs (Friday) I have been sleeping a couple hours here and there. With even MORE dreams. And I am remembering them.
About 930 last night (after about 20 minutes of dozing off) I dreamt that my boy and I got his four wheeler running and he went to sit on it and while he was straddling it I noticed gas was pouring off the fuel tank/fuel line connection and started on fire and I lunges to grab him and for real I flexed/started/clenched/moved my shoulders and woke up screaming because something “popped” in the shoulder I had just had surgery on. Woke the boy, startled the wife. Found myself in excruciating pain. Took an out of cycle pain pill and still took an hour for the pain to go down to the point I could go back to sleep.
One of many vivid dreams I have had since Friday. And as I pretty much have been sleeping around my pain pill schedule, there have been lots.
My advice to all of you- don’t tear your rotating cuff. Recovery is quite challenging.
I often dream and they’re usually weird, but I don’t remember them unless I specifically think about them right after waking up. One night a couple weeks ago when we had been having heavy rains I dreamt that my wife and I were in a grocery store somewhere that was slowly flooding. We went outside and across the street, really more like a large town square or something, I saw a whole bunch of cars driving uphill, including a couple taxis. We started wading across the flooded area but the water kept rising, and by the time we were halfway across all the cars had disappeared, and were in an area of abandoned industrial buildings. We wound up stranded under a kind of railway bridge. It was actually exciting in a creepy way.
I dreamt a mutual friend was being playful and flashed me. Then I playfully “honked” them in response. I made the mistake of telling this dream to my spouse…

@therealjrn That one guy was me.

@mfladd Any thoughts about deep fried rabbit bellies, though?
I of course dream of my batteries, chilling contentedly in my refrigerator.
What…? You don’t?
I don’t dream at all but I do stuff while I sleep… Apparently.
@reclaimercube That’s your story and you’re sticking with it?
@shahnm There’s wayyyyyyy more to it. Might be to explicit for these forums.
@reclaimercube
I say if you’re willing to share then do so, but we may need a ruling from a moderator on this. Would @narfcake be one or @thumperchick?

@jst1ofknd @narfcake @reclaimercube @Thumperchick I think you pretty much win this thread…
@jst1ofknd @narfcake @reclaimercube @shahnm @Thumperchick agree. The rest of us should just stop typing. Have fun with her nipples!

@djslack Or, the tack knew about your dream and was just trying to play along.

Then I woke up and took the dogs out.
Seems like a waste of rabbit meat…

@medz Let us know if your dreams are any different on the couch.
@shahnm It’s all good. Basically I was reminded the rule.
