Got a package from @juststephen today. I’m still boxing mine up and this arrives. I need to pick up the pace a bit.

@Mehrocco_Mole There's also random stuff in that little pouch... With homemade stuff and several scrabble letters to spell out a certain word... Also should be foreign currency in there...
Also, look in the sketchbook for various drawings! I debated keeping that numbering machine, but yeah, I'd never use it. I think I put the pencil back in there to roll it back to whatever number you want. It works.
@Mehrocco_Mole Yep. I have a ton of photography. If you're bored, www.juststephen.com is an older blog I no longer maintain, but feel welcome to visit. :)
@juststephen Sorry, there was so much stuff I missed the dog one. The other item not listed because my son took it before the pictures was the tube of POG Discs and two slammers. (Didn't think I would know what they were did ya?) I have a fight on my hands with my sons to hold on to them.
Overall you did a fantastic job! I can only hope my stuff meets the standard you have set.
Aw. I'm glad there was something in there that your son will like.
I have fond memories of my brother and I playing with pogs when we were kids, one of the few positive memories I have as a kid. We had so many different pogs and so many different slammers. It can be a really aggressive game, if you let it be. :)
I was talking about, gotta be fair to the dog, as the cat could of totally done it. Can't be partial to one species over another.. I guess because I love all creatures equally. :) Minus the wasps, hornets, ticks, fleas, roaches. Those guys can get stomped.
@juststephen Few more things: 3 cats and two dogs so fair it is.
The tiles spell my name. The wife is using your google-eyed discs as models for a Mother's Day project in her classroom. The coins: 1 Mexican peso, 25 Ecudorian cents, and 1 Russian rouble.

Atta way to bring this fucker to a new level, well done!
@FroodyFrog i havent sent yours out yet...its pretty good if you ask me...but if you are worried yours will suck in comparison to others i can empty it out and just send some worthless garbage. :)
@studerc That's a totally great exchange container. Lotta useful stuff there! :) The scale! Old MAC ram that'll sit in your drawer for years if you let it! MAGIC!
@studerc wait! that was an aliens watch? i thought it was just a figurine the DVD is blank for your recording pleasure (or it's one i ruined), the 'phone stand' is actually the Meh. branded USB/Apple charger, enjoy the music!
@studerc This might be a duplicate post, or I might be forgetful, or both, but you may have overlooked the heavily wrapped Meh.vintage Fuji AAA battery I included (yup, I kept those)
I am so regretting that I somehow missed all of the Mehrican Exchanges. Apparently, I am getting better, as I learned of this most recent one only about four days after it closed.
Would someone, anyone, please, please @ mention me for the next one? I really really need to get rid of these boxes of cra... er... stuff.
If you want really terrifying pics, the first two images in this thread. They're so terrifying, I didn't want to post the images here directly. shudder
@galmaegi I was wondering what you were doing with them. BTW: When not photo bombing my Fuko pics my half of that deal resides in a prominent location.
@glindagw I apologize profusely but I require more time to get your box together. I am out of town for most of the next two weeks. It will ship as soon as I stop traveling.
@connorbush Well, I cant speak to the rest of your... uhh... package insecurity, but I loved the box you sent me in the last exchange. This little letter opener, for example, lives by my seat and makes my life a little bit happier every day.
@StrangerDanger When I saw that an OR package was arriving Saturday, I figured I was your vict, targ, err, lucky recipient! As I work graves, I wasn't going to the PMB then, but came by on Monday afternoon to see if it had arrived. No box. I figured ok, it was from someone else, but would it arrive or was That Guy supposed to be sending my package?
Come to work tonight (I work graves) and find a large flat rate box on my desk. My brother-in-law who also works here picked it up earlier. I'd have tried to wait until getting home, but he was overwhelmed with curiosity about what was in that heavy box. Soooo....
I got a nice letter explaining how hard I was to stalk. Guess I haven't been giving you guys enough intimate details about my life. So I ended up with a bunch of stuff from his office and home..
How to tell if your cat is trying to kill you.. Now posted in my office.
An assortment of mouse pads. Nice.. The one at my desk is delaminating badly.
A miniature collection of barricades, caution tape and traffic cones. LOL
A collection of assorted office supplies, business cards, and magnets which is a bit of reverse stalking. Likely revealing where he works and in what capacity. Pure evil, but we love you anyway! :)
A couple of lanyards, a keychain, two pairs of ear buds, a micro USB charger, power supply cord, and a collection of ancient tech! Got a PS/2 mechanical mouse (yep with the ball and everything!) a USB 56K modem for when you don't want a webpage to load before you've brewed a pot of coffee. And, (had to google this) a remore control to program those scrolling LED signs which were all the rage 25 years ago!
Face cream, tinted brow gel, hair spray, a disposable razor, a grande coffee mug, and another pen which I missed while displaying the office supplies.
A selection of reading materials including a dictionary, thesaurus, and Stephen King's Misery.
A basket, two squishee balls/chew toys, a straw/tissue paper lei, Juicy Fruit Starburst strawberry gum (a bit overly-branded don'tcha think?) plus a Detour Work Area magnet which probably should go with the other construction themed items.
A prismatic hockey card
Finally, the other item which has been incorporated into my work space: A self-adhesive plaque warning "Passengers travel at their own risk!" So now to reveal a bit more about me for the next stalker. I work in the office at a limo and town car company. So absolutely perfect!
Instead of putting it in one of the cars, it's now firmly affixed to my keyboard.
@ciabelle technically only one of the items has my companies name on it the rest is mostly from vendors. Glad you had some fun with it. It's always fun to see the stuff you had sitting around in somebody else's office.
@Bogie your fabulously mehtastic box is heading out this afternoon via whomever is the lowest bidder is to haul this heap of... fine, fine merchandise! Despite the ludicrously slow shipping method, I'm in a neighboring state so it shouldn't be too long before t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶c̶r̶a̶p̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶f̶o̶i̶s̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶u̶p̶o̶n̶ you receive these wonderful wares!
@ciabelle Sadly, you only have until Saturday to enjoy the life you once had before a uniformed official from the government shows up at your door and leaves you with a box guaranteed to make your life more meh.
I am dropping @sohmageek's box off at the PO tomorrow. I need to go there and bitch about my dickbag mail carrier anyway. I ended up being to cram everything into a large flat rate box and saved about $7 on shipping, so that's a win!
@capguncowboy I'm sorry that you have an issue with your mail carrier. I think we all do in a way. But some are better than others.. :( thank you.
I feel like the biggest slacker for not having the one to send to my recipient yet.... I have an item or two to acquire still before it goes out. So I'm sorry to my recipient. I'm not "that guy" just slow guy.
Contents: Destiny for PS4 Hotncold X1 earbuds Universal travel adaptor 2011 Angel Tree Disney snow globe Today I am _ (happy, sad, miserable, or mad) paperweight courtesy of New York Plumbing Deck of cards Swiss Tech mini multi tool 1800 mAh Power Up! power bank Schoola bag World Wildlfe Fund bag, stickers, and greeting cards 1 orange bouncy ball USB cable Retractable USB cable Car adaptor for USB SonicIQ Bluetooth audio receiver (I've been wanted something similar for my car so YAY!!!)
Oh, and I'm trying to work on part 2, although I don't think it's going to happen. It was supposed to be this and a noise machine, although there were some technical issues.
10 (!) cowboy hats, all of which are too small for my big head 2 American Flags, perfect for a 4th of July parade 1 pair big pink glasses, also appropriate for a parade 1 package of dinosaur poop, perfect for 6+ years apparently 1 slightly flat basketball 1 crystal-growing set! Never tried these but have always wanted to! I don't have much luck growing plants so maybe I'll have better luck with crystals. 1 iPad Mini case in a perfect pattern for my boss, who unfortunately has a Kindle and so misses out 1 teeny-tiny flathead screwdriver 1 heavy Meta smartwatch. Wow, wearing this will give my arm a workout.
@justan79 Oh my. It looks like kind of a sad box when I see it in the pic there. My apologies. I didn't realize that I went a little heavy on the 'silly' and a little light on the 'quality' items with all the hats and dino poop and whatnot. Guess I was thinking the Meta smartwatch might make up for it a little. It works perfectly by the way. Literally only used a couple times. Also the basketball is brand new but I had to take out of its package and deflate it to fit in the box. I'm happy to send you another box to make up for the 1st one if you would like! Just let me know.
@ugadogch What?! What?!!!!! It's not a sad box at all! If it looks sad in the picture, it's obviously due to my lousy picture-taking skills. I couldn't see an easy way to get all the hats in the picture unless they were in the stack. Heck, I even left the bicycle lights out of the picture! Deflating the basketball was an inspired way to pack it. And I swiped a paper cup from work today (shh!) so I could start growing crystals. Haven't tried the watch yet as I'm waiting for a time when I'm calm enough to try new technology. Might wait until the weekend.....
After seeing the posts from others, I think that having regrets about the box you send to someone else is part of the exchange process. I know I feel the box that someone in TX is going to receive soon is inadequate in comparison to what others have received so far. But I'm trying to get over that and hope the recipient accepts it in the spirit in which it was intended.
Anyway, it's a fun box!!!!! Look, lots of exclamation points to prove it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got my packages off today. I was so proud of myself until I realized I forgot to put the messages I wrote to add a bit of personalization to the packages. Looks like @mikibell and @goldenthorn might be getting followup packages or letters to correct this senior moment.
No user name found, but based on contents, I'm guessing thanks go to @CaptAmehrican, packaged arrived to day including: - Irk dressed as @CaptAmehrican drawn on the USPS flat rate box - Nice bamboo cutting board, still in shrink wrap - 3 'to go' wine tumblers (great, I can take up drinking and driving again without spilling) - Avengers beanie - Avenger PJs - Glow in the dark ear rings - Green PlayDoh - Glow in the dark Party Pack of Glow Sticks - I sheet of Disney stickers - 3 knockoff Hot Wheels cars - Sperry Top sider wrist band - 2 eye glass repair screwdriver thingys (Costco?) - Post-it flags - Pelican MityLite with oozing battery (Meh.Fuji AAA perhaps?)
Received my box from @compunaut this morning! Thanks to the handy, enclosed list, this post should be absurdly simple.
Since the list contributed significantly to the enjoyment factor of the box, I'm going to include a few quotes. Here are the items, broken down into four easy-to-process segments...
The stuff I almost forgot to photograph: - "Birthday balloon (belated and deflated)" - Vitamints samples and an assortment of "mostly useless coupons"
Edible Easter: - Dark chocolate bunny, "because chocolate" - 24k Eggs coloring kit - Yellow and purple Peeps bunnies, "because peeps" and "because purple" - Carton of marshmallow eggs - Black jelly eggs
My husband got most of the candy, but the peeps are mine. All mine. (Yeah, I'm one of those people. Get over it. I'm not making you eat them.)
The Practical Stuff: - Retractable charging cable for all the things -- This will be my new car charging cable because I've been wanting something retractable - "1/2 gallon travel mug (non-bubba) Warning: will not fit in std cup holder" -- Finally, a travel mug that can keep up with my drinking habits. - Target water bottle, "because water" - Multi-tool and knife set, "meh quality" -- Will tuck into various places where we might find ourselves wanting knives. (Places like the very bottom of my camping day-pack, for the times when I have forgotten to put my real knife back, again, after pulling it out to do something.) - Older iPhone cable -- Husband claimed for an old iPad. - Anti-slip mobile phone mount (the blue card with an M on it) - Yaktrax traction cleat, "umm, 1/2 pair; works great for 1 foot" -- Anyone interested in a game of ice hopscotch? - Can and bottle opener -- Possibly destined for the Subaru, because... you never know when you might need to open a can? - "Latin pencil" that came, saw, and conquered. - Fujifilm camera... the kind that requires film and doesn't make phone calls!
The Fun Stuff - Sidewalk Chalk - Work Teasers - Faith Edition (Probably more practical than fun - "Model dinosaur (never assembled)" - Light-up glasses - Black makeup - Uno - Hawkeye ring, "because superhero" - Wooden puzzle - Wind-up robot toy - Tealight candles (I guess this one is more practical, too. Then again... fire!) - Multi-colored Pen - Flashing squishy ring... Or is it a fabulous hat for a wind-up robot???
So I had a box waiting for me at home from @ladyleela Vapur water bag Muppet pez dispenser - My daughter collects them! Thermometer world clock Finding Dory chalk - Claimed by kids Moustaches Andy Warhol cat shirt - My friends son will die when he sees me wearing it Leprechaun socks - I gave a way a pair like this last bo Cross training VHS - Last exchange I gave away a VCR, how fitting Crayons - Claimed by kids Smurf gummies- Claimed by kids Star Wars pencil case - from Fuku bag? Also cool name, I went as bender for Halloween a few years back, wish I could find the photo as it was really cool. Thanks did not disappoint!
A flat rate large Priority Mail box stuffed to the max!

Thanks Anna! Amazing package that I had a great time opening. (sorry I couldn't find a username but someone please tag the person in this forum who owns a restaurant)
I am a bit late sending mines. Sending it today. However. I am afraid to send it. Oh...the pressure. The only surplus of things I have are things from work. Large adult toy retailer. Sorry in advance.
@lishatanay hahahaha thats amazing. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the fun adult toys! Yknow... As long as they arent the pre-used kind. Hahahaha
@glindagw. Your package went out on the mail truck on Friday morning and is now listed as "undeliverable as addressed". I don't know why. Hopefully it will make it back here. @studerc Could you email her back, double check her address and let me know? Thanks.
My first of two Exchange 4.0 boxes came from @christinewas -- the self-proclaimed "Master of Box Tetris". I used to think I was pretty good at packing boxes ... until I got yours. Allow me to genuflect in your general direction -- YOU ARE the Master! All of this cool stuff fit into a Medium USPS Flat Rate box. To that I say... most impressive, and well done! Let me also say... you had me at Post-It Notes. My affinity for office supplies is well-documented (somewhere in a deep, dark corner of the forums). Anyway, on to the goods!
Transformers 3-movie set on DVD (Widescreen)
The Bourne Trilogy on DVD
Wall Sconces
The Two Towers (2nd book of The Lord of the Rings) on Audio Book Cassettes
Dallas Cowboys money clip
Post-It Notes ... Super Sticky!
The Cat in the Hat notepad (scarfed up by one of my boys)
Shopping List notepad
Set of (4) Perfect Bacon Bowl!
Go Peeps! Card Game
Belkin FM Transmitter (I have a couple of these from way-back-in-the-day BOCs)
2x coupons for 75 cents off Nut-Thins gluten-free crackers
A number of other neat little trinkets you can see in the photo.
A couple of unique items to highlight. First, the combo cigar holder + flask is mighty neat! I don't smoke cigars, but I might start, just so I can use this. Also, the "Chive On" box contained the Berry Drunk koozie, #RAKit sticker, Adeline pin, and the Cream Soda pirate wallet. The pirate wallet contained... 2 Brazilian Reais, which is roughly equivalent to $0.56 USD. I frankly always enjoy getting money in the mail -- and this is actually the 3rd time I've gotten cash in a Meh Exchange box.
I also received a hand-written note from @christinewas, to which I publicly reply: I am definitely NOT deeply saddened. And... THANK YOU so much!
Most (perhaps all) of the contents in the little "chive on" box are being passed along from the awesome box @connorbush sent me in the last exchange. (Cowboys money clip, as well.) They were fun enough to pass along for someone else's enjoyment, but not likely to get a lot of use here. The box also happened to fit nicely into the available space. Which, as you already know, was most of the decision-making process for your box
@StrangerDanger You aren't doing much better after coffee either (grin)... Hope you used a small box to place inside the cat or this could have taken a while
Someone in Georgia is getting a box today! Well, according to USPS tracking, anyway. If you have faith in that sort of thing. Which, as we all know, you probably shouldn't get your hopes up.
@FroodyFrog Accidentally purchased 3 sets of 6 bags a few weeks ago when Amazon had a killer liquidation of chocolate stuffs. Wife insisted that I send at least one bag to help get rid of some!
Have fun blaming your wife for her condemning an innocent bag of chocolate to a fate of meeting the garbage (due to when it came, I can't have it in my house). The rest of the box cheered me up though.
@hallmike - yours just came!!! I will upload photos and a list later this evening. Do you want me to mention what else was in the gift card envelope besides the gift card - yea for street view on google I presume, I also see you found my youtube channel LOL - or do you want to keep that private (that made me cry that someone could be so generous)? THANK YOU!!!
@Kidsandliz I did do street view, but not Youtube. I try to avoid that morass of humanity. I seem to have a knack for making women cry, but you're welcome.
@hallmike I am going to have to wait until tomorrow to upload the photos. I have a deposition to go to tomorrow (lawsuit against my employer for firing me for cancer) and I need to spend this evening reviewing about 4+" of paper. Been putting it off because it is too painful to read over and I was sort of hoping it would be postponed for the third time. Guess not. Can't put it off any longer unless I want to look like an idiot tomorrow. Sorry. Photo have been taken though, just not taken off my camera (have to find the thingy to do that with) to then upload.
@Kidsandliz Don't apologize to me - do the important stuff first. Besides, I already know what's in the box, you're only delaying everyone else the fabulous experience of seeing the crap!
@hallmike - sorry for the delay... finally have the fantastic box photos ready to go.
So I open it and of course it needs to be inspected for explosives, bugs and other potential play things by the resident nosy creatures.
Since it passed I spread out the contents
Thank you so much this was fantastic!!
oh the list
2 Koontz books (Seize the night and Relentless) and while I have read a number of his books, I have not read these two Celtic Thunder 2009 tour T-shirt (likely he found me on you tube) Toilet paper holder, chrome coming off where the toilet paper would go PC digital camera, 3 star on amazon – as seen on TV – now we know who buys these things Slime bike tire protector for mountain bikes First Alert pest repeller Wireless stratus gema controller for ipods, iphones and ipads 3.5 stars amazon 2 boxes scented votive candles Two pairs cards against humanity socks for Hanukah Bag of glitter pom poms About a zillion coke bottle caps to enter into their rewards program 4 boxes of those clear fast food uses them gloves Monet watch with 5 bands Liz Claiborne clamshell phone pouch (of which I do have a clamshell) 10 packs toe warmers that will be very useful in the deep south in the summer LOL (actually most of my family is up north in the snow belt and I bet these will be claimed) heat therapy patches Fishing line Green alien with a ribbon LED keychain light Size 6 flip flops and although they won’t fit me I know someone that they will Ear phones Heat therapy patch 2 boxes prescription strength deodorant – what my stench reaches the 800 miles or so between the two of us? 2 things from old fukus (yes I have them too and was going to pass them on to my person – guess now I will still have a set LOL) foam dart gun and pumpkin carving set with a pattern book candle stick USA flag sticker with only 25 states. Hmm which states should we ditch – I know let’s start with the one I live in now – we’d all be better off if it was permanently part of the Gulf of Mexico. 4 joke things – invisible ink, “hot” tea, dirty face soap, sneezing powder. I know just the family where some late grade school boys would love these, and the party popper A toothbrush with chinese tooth paste written in chinese – wait doesn’t china already make our tooth paste? An expired 12/30/05 coupon to try gamerang for free. And a subway gift card (there is one across the parking lot from me – thank you google street view) Something I don’t know what it is – blue with flowers on it – maybe a hotpad or something?
Okay, crazy weekend, but it looks like I'm finally all caught up.
I got my giant box from @parodymandotcom on Friday. For those of you familiary with my dickfaced mailman situation, you'll be pleased to know that he actually delivered the package! YAY!
The contents of this box made my laugh, especially the letter. It was sent before my current issues, but it definitely fit the situation perfectly.
1 awesome letter, with a note to my dickfaced mail carrier 1 VHS of High Plains Drifter 1 Slinky Jr 1 Pentium doll 1 miniature office kit 1 picture wallet 1 foreign coin (Greece?) 1 box of colored staples 1 money clip 1 USB hubman 1 CD for The 12 Parodies of Christmas 1 pack of text bubble stickers 1 protractor 1 collapsible pint glass 1 pork thermometer 1 small rubber basketball 1 pair of zig-zag scissors 1 cupcake shaped tin 1 miniature camera 1 3ft measuring tape keychain 1 pack of micro not pads 1 mini calculator/pen set 1 bookmark (matches the picture wallet) 1 stretchable book cover 1 Got It scavenger hunt game 1 Stanley Leak Proof beverage vessel
Overall, lots of fun stuff here. My kids will have a field day with it.
Now that I have a chance to show what I got, enjoy:
Contents: - Big bag of Twix which met a sad fate. - Neoprene sleeve for various Kindle devices - Huawei Glory (running ICS, gonna look later to see if there are any ROMs) - Electric shaver - Pencil sharpener - 2 desk cleaners - 2 packages of glossy photo paper - iClean screen cleaner (which will be used on my N5, N7, and Huawei Watch) - 2 Scoovy strips for those fake hoverboards - Halo flashlight with 3 settings: flashlight, lantern, and SOS strobe light (will go in my car next to my battery jumper kit) - Woot flying screaming monkey (always wanted one) - Keys to a 2012 Chevy Impala*
I received my stuff! My giftee was @DaveinSoCal. Sorry for all of the poor quality photos, the light in my room is of awful quality.
The box:
The note:
A wine diaper. I don't drink wine... Interesting concept, though.
Rolling stones air picks. I know a kid who might like these.
A brain string game... I am so dumb that I don't know if I'd be able to put it back together if I took it apart...
8 LED Head Lamp:
I wonder what's in here?
A HDMI cable!
Some glow stick bracelets
Nascar Brightsticks! Never know when you might need some light.
Supershields for the LG G2 (6 pack).. I won't be able to use.. I have a Galaxy S4.
A deck of ZOMBIE playing card. FRONT:
BACK:
A pedometer. Apparently it took 975 steps to get here from Cali.
Trader Joe green tea infused mints:
Schwetty balls:
I'm not a golf player, but I can think of a couple friends that I might give these to...
BPA free (Whew!) to go cutlery.
Environmentally friendly earbuds.
Arepex grill business card:
A well loved pocket knife! I so almost sent my person a pocket knife.
SCHRADE brand:
A flip it travel surge protector:
A pair of feet warmers:
Pink BUCKY BALLS! I've always wanted to try these - once I finish with this post..
Some miscellaneous tabs? I'm assuming they may be to block outlets.
Some 4x30 Vivitar binoculars..
A lockpicking kit! I will give these a try with some sort of lock I'm sure, but I probably don't have the patience. It'd require a lot of Youtube videos. I don't know what I'd use these for, maybe if I got locked out of my house?
Some plastic bits:
The office pen:
Thanks so much! I'll try to play with the bucky balls some and see what I can come up with...
@juststephen Glad you like it! I had fun running around my house putting it together.
The "plastic bits" are the bottom half of a meh quadcopter. Which apparently broke in transit.
The lockpicks are fun, but I don't recommend testing them on any locks you rely on daily (in case you break the lock). Find an old padlock you lost the key and mess around with that.
The green tea mints are awesome.
DON'T LET ANYONE EAT THE BUCKYBALLS. They were recalled because some people are too stupid to live. Don't be one of those people. They're still ridiculously fun, though.
@DaveInSoCal Ah, that's what I thought they might be. (the plastic bits.)
The lockpicks.. I'll take your advice. I might go to the dollar tree and buy a padlock to try it out with.
I haven't tried the mints yet, we don't have a trader joes here, but we totally need one!
Yeah, I see the warnings labeled all over it. It's just two adults at our address, so as long as I keep them in the box, the cat won't get them either.
The pocket knife opened the bucky balls container.
I'll have to figure out who to gift the Shwetty balls to.
@juststephen Those Schwetty balls are marked "L" and "R" lol I don't play golf but when those kept coming up on Woot I almost got some
Also, just now on the news, the local weather terrorists are giving away station-branded golf balls for snapping pictures of "golf-ball-sized" hail and sending the pix in.
@juststephen I got some lock picks a while back. You would be surprised how fast you can open a Master Lock. I have 3-4 different styles and can open them in under a minute. I was also able to help my aunt who had a lock on a toolbox with no key. Took 10 seconds.
@juststephen If you like puzzles, locksport (picking open locks for fun) is an awesome thing to do. Go buy some cheap padlocks and try your hand at them. The biggest group in the US involved with competitive lockpicking is TOOOL (although any local hackerspace/makerspace probably has a contingent of lockpickers). Your box is really good- lots of cool things in there.
Roughly 4 years ago I wanted to get Bucky Balls for myself. Unfortunately, it was right about when the crackdown was happening. I ended up just getting a similar set from AliExpress though.
So I revived a very tightly packed box from @christinewas Banana slicer Victoria's Secret lipgloss Orange cream lip shine Frizz ease hair serum 6 foot USB a – B cable Peppermint soap Twist in charge USB charger Cell phone belt clip Cassette tape audio adapter 2 highlighters Prevent forest fires pencil Large Post-it notes Car charger for an unknown cell phone I hands-free car kit Toothbrush Dale Earnhardt playing cards A wrist watch A nutcracker And picks Bacon bowls x 4 Hobby lobby picture frame One Direction cup The C note pad FM modulator 54 Necco wafers Since I mentioned I like the Necco candy hearts and wafer she packed the box and every empty space with them. A note said " You casually mentioned enjoying these. I interpreted that as these are my favorite thing in the world" Well played!! (And I ate a bunch while opening the box)
@sammydog01 text took a minute. I was trying to remember how do use the HTML code for images and then tested it. Too lazy to use computer and did it via phone.
@parodymandotcom So I get home and the wi-fi is out. Frontier says that there is currently no estimated time for a fix. So, I'm using my precious LTE minutes to post this and say it looks like the big reveal of my package from StrangerDanger will have to wait yet another day.
@mikibell Glad you liked it. I packed it in the post office parking lot. They stayed open a few extra minutes for me. I forgot to put the letters I wrote in the box and some other stuff had to be left out. I'm actually going to send the letters because, well, why not? BTW: While cyber stalking, I mean researching you, I saw a reference to your kiddos (13 & ?) so the Disney key chains were actually aimed at them. Thank the wife for that one.
Amazing packing job. Also, packing everything in a bag inside the box? Brilliant! Especially since the box got ripped open somewhere along the way, but I knew nothing had been lost. I will be stealing this idea.
Really awesome box. It was a blast to unpack...
Without further ado:
These leather bags are the bee's knees. I received a tote, a purse, and a makeup/toiletries bag. The tote will be used for my laptop and supplies while I am student teaching this fall. I needed a toiletries bag. Awesome score!
Next...things that will go to my kids:
Neat stuff! And what's this? An inflatable wild swan? My kids love inflatables and swans, how could this go wrong?
Hmmm...something seems a little funny about the shape of that swan...
Holy shit! NOT going to the kids. Although I really want to see it on. If by "inflatable" they mean "filled by boner", they may really be onto something here.
Next....
Many delightful toiletries! Packaged in (drum roll please) the toiletries bag!
"Help for when you desperately need a toilet"
"when you are caught in a traffic jam on the freeway" "when you are taking care of sick or injured people"
Earbuds, mad cool kitty post-its, weird USB charger, Dell case, photo hanger (neato), and an "I'm not weird, I'm gifted" keychain. Thanks for the props, sister.
@cation Great write-up! It was a lot of fun to read. Made the box even better than I imagined it could be. (I've gotta say, I was more than a little concerned when I saw the swan box in that first picture. So funny!)
I love (and hate) the fact that the Super Bowl thing was the most fulfilling. I think I'm actually glad woot was crazy enough to send me that thing.
I barely managed to watch that whole game the first time (for obvious reasons). Talk about painful. By some miracle, though, I have managed to become a Seahawks fan (they're somewhere in my top five teams). The wives do some cool things with the girls at Seattle Children's hospital and there's a short video of Russell Wilson with my second cousin when she was a patient there. I'm pretty sure that's what helped me get past the bitter memories.
@christinewas I think it's totally funny that they put that particular superbowl lanyard in. Glad we have made your list! The Seahawks, the Sounders, and the Mariners all do amazing things for the local community as well as other places around the country and world. We are lucky to have teams that are so involved.
Now if the Mariners could make it through the summer without crashing and burning, that would be something.
@hallmike Package arrived! AWESOME stuff! Doing inventory & pictures. Trying to find the comic books my son took for the pictures. I'll try to post tomorrow.(Tuesday)
@Polarbear84 sent me a huge box. As the entertaining letter included wild assumptions about me I am going to make some wild assumptions back. I think polar used to work as an ad man for NASA. Evidence includes NASA stemless wine glass NASA patches NASA ornament. For the ad man evidence includes season 2 and season 3 of Mad Men. For evidence that he got fired and no longer works there is this massive office sized fax scanner printer it is an hp m476dw . I hypothesis he stole it from work and lost his job. Also evidence the I don't give a rats donkey patch and the family guy episodes. However, I have good news in my hypothetical situation. I think he got a job working for HydraSol this awesome degreasing wipes.
@CaptAmehrican imgur tip: When you upload a picture, there's a "Share this Image" menu on the right. Click under "Direct Link" and copy the text. You can paste that here directly.
@trisk or, just copy the link on the top right of the image, paste that and add .jpg at the end. Paste the .jpg at the end for all of the images. Easier if you have many.
@CaptAmehrican YAY! You got it! I had a lot of fun with the letter and figuring out just what I wanted to put in it, I'll certainly jump in on further Mehxchanges! (I actually do work for NASA, so if you want any NASA logo'ed stuff, let me know. I mean, Im sure you can buy any of it from 'teh internets' but still.)
As for the printer, I had no room for it and wanted it out so badly, it was either exchange it, or this
@polarbear84 I want NASA logo'd stuff, if you're offering. A piece of the space shuttle? Maybe one converted into a fridge magnet? That would be awesome.
@polarbear84 I'm pretty sure you'd make nearly any future Mehrican Exchange recipients happy with NASA-logo 'stuff'. It's pretty obvious what a bunch of nerds/geeks we are
@polarbear84 would you be offended if I give the massive printer copy machine to a local food bank that I sometimes volunteer with? I was sorting boxes for them this morning and their copy machine printer has died and it is way to big for my house where I rarely print or copy anything.
@CaptAmehrican i absolutely wouldn't be!!! If they can use it, please give! It was too big for my house, so if you've found a good home for it fit someone who needs it, go for it!!
The Mehxchange might just be a bunch of us sending crap to each other, but if we can send someone something they really need at a price that works for them, that's the true spirit of Meh!! :p
Norelco razor Screen cleaning rag Lots of photo paper that will all be put to good use Hand wipes (going in the garage for after oil changes) Bag of Twix, or is that Twixes? (wife claimed) Two mushroom desk cleaner brush fan things Duck Commander "Swamp in Jar" (youngest daughter claimed the rubber ducky in it to add to her collection) A Huawei Glory Tracfone! Two foam outlet insulation pads?...
I actually had no Android devices whatsoever, and the Huawei seems to work well on my wifi even without activating any cell coverage. I'm going to enjoy playing around with it and learning a bit.
@zachdecker I bought like a half dozen of these bastards a few months back hoping to use them at Verizon for trade in credits to update future phones. They haven't run that promotion ever since so I've just been sitting on them. They actually have some decent quality to them even just running off the wifi.
@studerc I have 4 of them as well hoping to use them as ip cams. But they shutdown after a few days, so I was about to include one in my box until I found you can only include 2 lithium ion batteries in a package...
(With the Huawei Glory, sadly there are no custom ROMs for it, although then again, if someone needed a prepaid or low end phone, they probably don't care that much about the OS version. Then again, in the last year, the low end market has gotten some nice options. Also, sadly an app which I'd have installed closed last year, otherwise it would have brought in some extra Paypal cash. Although there are a few other apps I could use for Paypal/Amazon earning, just never got around to it.)
@christinewas omg I just noticed the shipping label I used for your box (spoiler) was missing your name! UPS says it was left at your front door Monday morning, hope a housemate or family member didn't abscond with it! x_X
@trisk I received it! Great timing, too. We found the box as we were heading out the door to see my rheumatologist in Denver and I left for Texas later that night. I was able to snap a few pictures before I left and wrote something up in an email draft while on the plane. As soon as I get a chance to upload pictures to imgur and wrestle with formatting on my phone, I will get something up here. It was a very enjoyable box. Thanks!
I'm going to post this here for my recipient... I apologize for the delay, I will be sending it out. I have to finish. I think I've gotten the last item in, but now I have to pack it and get it to the store. I've been having a few late nights, but they have been unproductive ones... So yes it's coming, soon hopefully. I'm going to totally shatter you by saying I probably won't get it out until Monday. (I'm working all weekend and probably can pack it/get anything additional Sunday.) On the plus side... I'm working very hard to find items that aren't baby related... although it may be funny for you... Not very funny at the same time... Also you will get a little piece of Vermont... Sadly the snow didn't last long enough for me to send it... (yes yesterday it snowed, the day before it was in the high 50's-60's.)
@Pamtha Thank you so much, Sorry for the late response. I have been on vacation. I love my summer bag, the candies went fast. I gave the toys to my friends kids and they were ecstatic. The starbucks gift card will go into use asap as well. Thanks again!!!!
@therealjrn We got ourselves all in a tizzy to get the cars covered up & protected - and the front crashed across us in about 35-40min. Lots of lightning but no hail to speak of
@compunaut We had some wind damage but when the weather terrorists showed a couple of vinyl flag lines down at a used car lot--AND ZOOMED IN!--Oh the humanity! I decided I had enough storm coverage.
@therealjrn I'll never forget the time (I think it was a Thanksgiving storm) they had reporters on overpasses to film snow - and they ZOOMED IN on a snowflake that had landed!
@compunaut i think that's why they usually need to use youngsters out in the field...they are trying to break into the bigs (so to speak) and have a lot of pressure...I'd be like yeah...had some rain move through...wouldn't some more rain be good for the garden? But no...we get a hyperactive doe-eyed recent grad in her brand new Columbia jacket trying to sell gentle rain falling guided by the wind as "sheets of rain." Snort!
My wifi has been restored, and I am now ready to reveal to you all the bounty that arrived at my domicile from none other than StrangerDanger!
The box arrived battered, but not broken:
Opening the box gave hints to the mysterious contents within:
And here it is!
a large black bag for carrying all of my parody ideas
a green lei (hey, I'll take any lei I can get. Badda-boom! Thank you, I'm here all week)
a large nerf basketball hoop to be a big brother to the mini one I have clipped to my desk
a well-used foam ball presumably for tossing through the hoop
a Sallie Mae flag (ah, I still remember those high school days talking about girls. I asked, "what about Sallie?" And they replied, "She mae.")
A small black bag with a PC lock inside so I can secure my valuable parody computer. There must be millions of would-be parodists just itching to access my files to discover my lyrics to A Doctor Who Christmas (In the meadow we can see a Dalek / And it's shouting out "exterminate")
and speaking of Christmas, a Christmas-tree shaped cookie bowl (sadly, empty)
a zen desk garden (with convenient hole in the bag that spilled sand over everything on the trip here) how zen
a tiny Green Bay Packer figurine and tiny football. I would just like to take this moment to say to all of the Paker Backers reading this, DEZ CAUGHT IT!
half of a dollar bill! Did another meh exchange recipient of StrangerDanger get the other half?
a Schnauzer key chain. "Schnauzer" rhymes with "Bowser". Bowser was a member of Sha Na Na. Sha Na Na, amazingly enough, is still performing after 47 years.
noteboard, notepad, pens (essential tools for a parody writer)
Eternal Word calendar ("Eternal Word" calendar or Eternal "Word calendar"?)
mousepads (for the mice my cat keeps bringing in)
an empty badge clip/reel (we don't need no stinkin' badges!)
a cassette tape with the sides labeled "Songs 1-10" and "Songs 11-16". Dare I play it?
a tin with German text that looks to be an eyeglass holder. I'll try to find some German eyeglasses to test it out
a floating candle (amazing! fire on water! what times we live in)
an empty DVD case with the note "movies used to come on disk" They also used to come on big spools that I had to thread through the projector at school so we could watch riveting documentaries on the life cycle of snails and other like subjects
a tiger magnet and other bits n' bobs (and if you've ever had your bob bit, you know how painful that can be)
@parodymandotcom As the other recipient of a box from Stranger Danger, no, I did not receive the other half of that dollar bill, nor half of any other bill of any denomination.
So much for your plans to meet up and then find another way to split our collective bounty. Though I did get a whole pack of gum, so if you make it to Portland, OR, I'll be happy to give you half of it anyway.
@ciabelle yea I found a half dollar so I shared the wealth. That does give me an idea for next time. I hope you guys found the stuff mediocre enough for your likings.
A lovely package was waiting for me when I got home today!
Conair massager - appears new and working Meh snapcable and phone stand Roll of dog poop bags 4 small white gauzy gift type bags 3 Mail Chimp pencils Mail Chimp eraser and eraser figure (nice!) Common Bond stickers Small felt mouse (made me scream when I touched it pulling it out of the bag!) Torch and stars coaster Meh valentines candy hearts A Fit Bit Leather pouch Electric tea candles A small green adapter of some kind A small metal plate of some kind A Pink ribbon pin and 2 Pink ribbon ID badge thingies A small skateboarder (?) figurine
I can't find a user name of who this might be from, but he/she is from Indianapolis - I'd rather not post the name on the mailing label.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love what you sent very much!
PS - My very first picture posted on the meh forums! I'm feeling stupidly accomplished.
Box number two arrived today from @stardate820926! Quite the haul of greatness. Bravo on a well done box, thoroughly impressed!
The run down... Ron Burgundy action figure 7 Slurpee cups of various comic/video game designs Twist and Charge USB charger 2 decks of cards 50 tokens of various design Set of Bacon Bowls Set of Legos Soccer ball speakers 4 packages of foam stickers Mini A&W mug 2 packages of tissues Christmas ornament Buffy cast reunion panel movie Vinyl floral border Various movie related pins...stellar! including...Pokemon the First Movie! 3 patches Some super cool pins from the Paper, Hard Rock Cafe, Smithsonian, Fords Theater...huge history buff right here!
And the crown jewel...Instant Boobs. @chaoscatapult always wishes she fit into her tops better and decided to wear these for the sake of science. These were hilariously ridiculous!
Thanks so much for the laughs and the awesome swag!
@studerc I'm glad you like it. The tokens are golf ball markers
All of the pins and patches from various places were purchased from said place. I used to travel a lot and accumulated tons of stuff like that. I was clearing out boxes that hadn't been opened in over 2 years and decided I didn't need them as much as I thought. I thought you might enjoy the stuff from D.C. The ornament is from London.
@trisk I received it yesterday! I managed to do a UPS Hold on it so the kids didn't raid it before I got home.
An XL Chump T-shirt underneath: it's the right size!
A photo frame with an OEM image of someone holding a kite (at least I think it is designed to hang on a nail/screw, but the string is unorthodoxly mounted to the bottom of the frame): might be able to use it on a push pin at the office.
Blue bottle of bubbles: kids can never have enough bubbles!
One of those super bouncy rubber balls: now the 2 kids don't have to fight for the one we have!
Sticker book: kids can never have enough stickers!
NCTU USB Drive (I didn't check if it had any contents yet, since it was 1am): small world, 2 of my classmates in grad school are professors at NCTU!
Red Motley Tube: I've always wanted a balaclava and sneak around my neighborhood in front of all the cameras.
Cat nip dispensing bug: probably will go to a friend with cats.
Various chinese candies: I'm Chinese and have never tried any of these.
Outdoor tool key clip labeled AOTDDOR EDC: interesting way of stashing keys so that the keys don't keep poking you.
Robot humanoid figurine: I want to say it looks like Robotech?
Jambox by Jawbone case (got camouflaged below the collar of the shirt): I have an irresistible urge to find something that fits in it.
Mighty Moustache: now I'm ready for the next gishwhes.
Eclipse X-Stream Bluetooth Speaker: I was contemplating buying this from meh, but decided against it because I still have some bluetooth speakers I bought last year from meh sealed in box.
Two greeting cards (Penguin lined up to say, and Kids Noting hello)
Metal Works Ferris Wheel: I didn't even know these exist...if only it came pre-assembled so I can put it on display at work. I predict this will sit around un-assembled until my kids leave for college. Very cool though!
Dell Wireless Touchpad: funnily, a Lenovo wireless touchpad has been floating around my house for 3 years now.
Philips iPhone Sleeve: somehow I feel the iPhone 6 Plus will be too big for this.
Zhip stand: I was contemplating buying this from meh, but decided against it because of the poor reviews here in the forums.
Surf-n-rock music block: don't have the Music Blocks player, so this might go out in the next exchange.
Spongebob digital video card: I think my wife will kill me if I introduce Spongebob to my kids, so stashed away it goes.
Staples notebook: kids love things to draw on!
Asian looking pouches: I would put coins in it, but it looks flimsy and probably wouldn't hold the weight.
Cycling line tube with fishes on it: not quite sure what it is...too big for putting on an appendage, too small for using as a tube top.
Freeagent Theater+: I wonder if it supports WTV format...
Seashell greeting card with message: I hope this box of junk finds you in good health Trisk P.S. Your profile is a mystery
I guess that means reading my profile showed me as all over the place, since it looks like my profile is public.
More small world stuff: My father-in-law has the same first name, and my last name used to be the same as yours. I'm glad I opened the Theater+ box, I almost didn't, and then realized I should open all black boxes like the touchpad and media box...a third of the stuff was stuffed in there!
For my first exchange, I feel sender's anxiety. I didn't send nearly the diversity I received (mostly because I ran out of room)...but hopefully my recipient enjoys my curve ball.
@Odi When I wrote the note, your page was basically 30 lines of "Odi clicked the meh button" (and not many purchases... how's VMP working out for ya?). Wish I'd thrown in more stuff for your kids!
Small world indeed: We get a ton of NCTU doodads because my girlfriend's dad is a CS professor there. That USB drive hasn't been used (it might come with something, though).
My guess for the tiny robot is some kinda Gundam? It was a trivia prize. Fish tube is a headband, supposedly.
As for the variety, some of these are regifts from last year... we were toying with the idea of labeling them to see how many make it to the next exchange!
@Odi Your box is AMAZING and I am a terrible person because it came a week ago and I haven't posted yet. (Stuff has been going on, which is no excuse, and I haven't sent mine out yet, which is even worse.)
@trisk I used to micro manage VMP and cancel it 28 days after the order that signed up for it. But I found I would order more useless crap during that 28 day period and not order stuff I actually wanted outside of it (because I would think it wasn't worth starting a new 28 day period, like those Zhip stands).
When I just let VMP roll, I ended up with less useless crap and more stuff I wanted but might not have ordered in the previous paradigm because I would have felt pressured to order more things in that 28 day period.
My classmates are EECS and EE professors.
And don't worry about the kids, they have enough crap as it is. I wonder how many of the regifts will end up in their hands, I might have to look up the old thread.
@mossygreen I'm glad you think it was good! Don't worry about the delay in posting, I just saw someone above throwing out chocolate because it wasn't allowed in their house and got worried!
@Odi I've been on the fence about letting VMP roll further myself, with months-long gaps between clusters of purchases for me. Even though I would have the same temptation to take advantage of the 28-day window, history suggests that wouldn't change my buying habits all that much.
I'm more intrigued than surprised that your classmates probably have stories about my er, de facto father-in-law. Ask if they've ever been gifted a book with dot art drawings of cats... My side of the family is also mostly in Taiwan, though I was born stateside.
So @kidsandliz wins the best mehrican exchange box. Inside of this box was something everyone wants more of, but is nearly impossible to acquire. Mediocre socks.
Also, as a result if her awesome stalking, Red Sox ornament! Thanks for the great box!
@DaveInSoCal Hey take a photo of the meh ping pong balls - they took me ages LOL. Glad you liked the socks. Too bad they were too big for me. Hmm maybe I would have gotten rich auctioning them...
@DaveInSoCal Umm look at the differences between them and she will see they are not (grin). Hmm do you suppose I can now get a royalty from meh if they steal my idea to sell? LOL
Would normally give a better unboxing thing but I was short on time and wanted to post before I fly out.
Favorite Things:
-Solar Car and Quadcopter (Can't Seem to get the car enough light for it to work... Was it working when you sent it? Or do I need to do some science?)
-Tattoos. I may put those on my arm before I return to work to see what my coworkers say.
-Sooo many band stickers
Things I am confused about:
-What was the black poofy thing for? -What is that cardboard thing? Google Cardboard? -Was the cigarette thing a lighter? Or a wifi antenna? -What are the grocery things? Are you my personal grocery servant now?
Things I am angry about:
-Glitter... Fuck you. Made my OCD go through the roof and the cat got them all over my living room.
@darkzrobe ordered most of the weird stuff from random China website. Grocery things idk really... A drawer from long ago. Glad it was moderately interesting. I hope the nike golf polo fits. I included the copter drone should all else be useless you would have at least one win! Also, good luck fitting the steering wheel cover, my car wasn't having it. Let us know what your co-workers say about the tat, picture or it didn't happen. Lol.
@connorbush I am a big dude, the polo can be something to work too. I will see on the tattoo. I have to figure out how to get it on... And shave the crap out of that area.
@hallmike Sent an awesome box. We start with the note.
Note the box decorated in an amazonian style.
Now the contents.

Finally have time to post my box from @therealjrn:

Will be useful to keep in the car trunk. - Pocket book of the Constitution & Declaration of Independence. - Large flip-flops. - DVD murder mystery game. - Midas travel mug. - 6 pairs of sport socks. Can I war them with the flip-flops? - The Aviator movie on DVD - DVD with 9 classic suspense episodes of shows like Dragnet, Sherlock Holmes, Decoy, etc.
Got mine a few days ago. When I picked it up, I thought it must be just one item. Nope -- just jam packed solid. It's going to take me a bit to get to the pictures, but I'll say this for now: Leak Frog! Thanks @kphilippe.
Also… I finally found the thing that was the thing that I bought specifically for the exchange and that I couldn’t find when the exchanged happened. @readnj, do you want it? (I suppose just sending it without asking would be kind of creepy at this point.)
Okay, @lishatanay deserves an award for the most NSFW box... ever!
Here we go... I've mosaiced the most scandalous bits.
Unboxening:
Should've seen the stupid grin on our faces when we were greeted with that plush protrusion.
Awesome note:
Trisk,
Hello, I hope you enjoy the package.
Post pics at your own risk.
Please do not be offended.
PS: Everything is new and unused
You tend to rack up stuff when you work for A&E
Lishatanay
And here we are:
A&E is Adam & Eve, "the nation's largest marketer of adult products". IT'S A BOX FULL OF SEX STUFF.
The Original Venus Butterfly: pop in some AAs, strap this to your waist and go to town? "may be worn under clothes"
3-pack "Adam & Eve Presents" DVDs with titles like The Dog Walker and The Contractor: bow-chika-wow-wow...
First Time Silicone G "massager": nice!
Neon Mega Bullet: one of the few toys we already have is another bullet, but it'll be easy to find a new owner for this one
Flight by Fleshlight: yay, toys for both of us!
Domin8: dominos game with things like whips and handcuffs on the tiles
Fuck Forever Cum Delay Spray: topical benzocaine on your dick... kinda afraid to try this
ForPlay GelPlus lube and assorted mini packs: very helpful supplies, thanks!
Pipedream Toy Cleaner: interesting, maybe gentler than warm water + detergent for some toys?
Adam & Eve G-Spot Crème: not sure exactly how this works, but claims it "increases awareness of the G-Spot"
Charms heart lollipop: yum
6 school pencils with Disney and Marvel characters
Case with set of DVDs Betty Boop & Friends Vol 3, Popeye, Superman, and Classic Characters: Of course, I checked the labels closely to see if they were also porn! They don't seem to be, but I haven't tried watching them yet.
Unlabeled purple ribbed vibe: I guess it's for the backdoor, or maybe multipurpose...
That cap with a dick and balls: I'll wear it cause I'm a dickhead (actually my gf wore it for the entire rest of the night after we unpacked it)
Red fabric and lace handcuffs: Things are getting kinky...
Euphoria Sensual Soundscapes CD: when Marvin Gaye just won't do, I suppose!
Black fabric in a bag that turned out to be a male thong: there's a mysterious tube of fabric sewn below the crotch, seems a little thin if it's to help keep junk from poking out?
Entice Accessories Triple Intimate Clamps: I think that third clamp goes on... ouch!
3rd Degree DVD: "XXX Adult Material" (duh)
Home Improvement XXX: A Parody: holy moly... I guess they're going for the nostalgia, because it's dated 2010. Back cover: "What Time is it? It's Tool Time with group sex and all the grunting you remember!" (also pictured there: "Milson"'s fence has a glory hole).
Adam & Eve eve's triple pleasure rabbit: Ah, the pièce de résistance, a massive, pink, squirming, triple-headed silicone monster
Thanks, both my partner and I thought this was really awesome (and hilarious)!
@trisk I am glad that you liked it and was not offended. I hope you and your partner enjoy it. I don't have a lot of stuff hanging around the house so I figured eh...what the heck.
My box arrived yesterday. The giver did not include their username but I wanted to let them know I have received it. I hope to open it & take some pictures to post in the next day or so.
Just cracked open the box from @Nikodemus. It felt a bit like Christmas morning for me and my girls. Here's what was in it:
Note on cartoony body organ postcard with 3D-printed Meh keychain (VERY COOL) More blank Body Organ postcards Power Glove oven glove 3D-printed articulating fish bones Putty in my Pocket Make your own Zombie (claimed by my 7yo daughter) Map of Texas Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice Artwork Arrested Development Tobias Dress-up Magnet set Deadpool Plush Kodak point and shoot camera (apparently broken. Also claimed by my 1.5yo daughter) Family Guy can koozie Mission Impossible III DVD Game of Thrones Funko Mystery Mini Figure Meiji Hello Panda Cookies Simpsons Weird Al action figure Bag featuring county tax statistics from NC
Daughter already cracked into this:
I'm a total sucker for custom-made Meh gear. This is cool.
The guys at work will enjoy this (I'm only a couple episodes in on the series):
This seems to have been printed in one piece. I can't see any splits at the articulation joints. Neat.
Thank you, @Nikodemus! You put together a nice box!
@SpenceMan01 Holy crap. I am so stupid. @nikodemus was my sender in the exchange last year and I didn't realize my meh keychain, which I keep right here at my desk, was custom 3D printed. That is so cool.
@SpenceMan01 I think the bags are amusing in themselves, because its not just any tax statistics, but tax numbers for the state run ABC stores because only the state can correctly sell you whiskey I guess. And the 3d prints are because the exchange is an excellent excuse to print stuff, and have answers for what exactly do you do with that printer to justify buying it again?
A box from Amazon? I didn't order anything recently. Oh, it's from @djslack, trying to be tricky or something!
For the contents, first and foremost, @djslack is no stalker -- very good to know.
Just look at all that goodness! We have:
Buttonhole scissors -- I didn't even know that was a thing Hands Free Soap Dispenser -- did this come from meh? Crystal Unicorn Air Freshener -- so new-agey Bud Light NFL Beer Glass -- husband is happy Bud Light Music First Koozie -- always music first Bottle Opener/Key Ring -- gotta open the beer Electronics Wipes -- could be a meh item, not sure San Disk Show Me Your Flash koozie -- sure, why not 1000 Piece Puzzle, Spirit of Flight -- more new-agey stuff Operation Aliens Watch -- wish I knew a 5 year old Steamboat Springs CO 2012 bag -- I'll pretend I went Patterned Duct Tape -- very cool Otter Box Phone Case -- might actually be able to use! Square Shooters Dice Game -- love games, gonna try it! Geaux Office notepad -- who doesn't need note paper? Purplish Pink Beads -- Mardi Gras? Plastic Clip thing from Jerry Nash's Body Shop -- no clue Some sort of Chopper thing, I think -- no clue again Fuzz-Away Shaver -- old looking and I love the name! Teddy Bear w/ Butterflies -- kinda hippie-like Stuffed Tiger -- sad little guy, looks dead Ancient Civilizations Pendant (?) -- at first look I thought it was Wizard of Oz. No clue, but more beads!
Some of the things were regifts from previous exchanges. The soap dispenser was actually from Target, but I knew they were kind of a thing around here. I think the chopper thing is a twist cheese grater, I believe I got it along with the Fuzz Away in a previous box. Both beads are from our local Mardi Gras parades (with and without pendant) so the medallion was the theme from one of the parades, and those are the rare ones that are a good catch. The Otterbox is for an iPhone 5, I hope you can use it. And the sad little tiger I believe is vintage. He feels like a lion from the 1960s that was a treasure at my grandmas house as a kid. I hit on the idea of using stuffed animals for packing material when looking at my fiancee's box of stuff to take to Goodwill. If he's valuable I hope he survived being used as a Texas Air substitute.
Oh and GeauxOffice.com is my fiancee's baby. It is the ecommerce division of the Louisiana Association for the Blind, retailing office supplies at competitive prices. The proceeds go to benefit their rehabilitation and job training efforts for visually impaired people in Northwest Louisiana. She asked if I could send the notepads out with my boxes. I'll also share that promo code GEAUX10 gets 10% off your first order. So if you need office supplies she'd be super jazzed if you checked them out.
@pitamuffin I remember having one of those clothes shavers as a kid. We used them to get the little pills off of our pillowcases, sheets, etc. I'm kind of surprised to see them still around. I don't recall having pills on my fabrics for years now.
@sammydog01 I try not to buy anything from them. After they jumped the shark with a bazillion different things every day/week, my purchase frequency dropped significantly. I recently had a less than stellar experience when one of their drop-ship suppliers royally screwed up everyones charger orders. Their handling of it was a cluster. I'm more or less done with them at this point.
@djslack@pitamuffin Hey, that grater and Fuzz Away were originally from me! Oddly, I recently found the paper insert for the grater. I'm not sure how it got separated from the grater itself or why I still have it, other than general hoarding tendencies. I will post a picture so the new owner can rest assured that it is dishwasher safe, can be used for storage and can be used to grate two kinds of cheese at the same time.
Thanks ok here goes, thanks @Scolburn a quite eclectic mix to say the least.
Assorted football bits, Chargers(meh), Giants(Yay), Patriots(Boo) Junior Jay hawks Hat Zipper tote bag Nick zone bag A strange vaguely cat shaped light up speaker dock Night light, a good choice LED tap light Dolphin wind chimes Anti slip pad Taz patch A wrapped wine thermometer (given to parents who are wine snobs) NEON luggage tag Wrapped game system thingie Spic and Span cleaning wipes
And then the outfit of concern when taken as a whole Boxer briefs Pink flip flops Pen glasses...Glass Pens... Gold nail polish and A stethoscope because if people were seeming a bit disturbed when approached dressed this way you can always defuse the situation with, don't worry i'm a doctor.
@Nikodemus You're welcome! All the NFL stuff (and, strangely, the Jayhawks hat) is direct from the Pro Football HOF. I take my boys up the day after Thanksgiving -- they get in free + a goodie bag chock full of ... well, goodies.
Just got my cross country box from Washington State. No note but the label says @walarney. Thanks!!!! Lap desk 2015 Superbowl pennant Dr Who book and tee shirt Tea candles USB Man Caller ID speaker Somewhere in Time DVD Goofy Mug thing Photo box Power outlet Empty ADIDT box Cable Clips Patriotic Tablecloth weights A Fukubukuro bag and something which I have isolated in 3 shots and must know what it is. It is an eye with a screw and nut and a male plug underneath @walarney or someone, please explain...
@readnj That's a type of socket used for car wiring harnesses. Looks like a projector headlight; the part with the socket should be a bulb that unlocks if you turn it counterclockwise.
@readnj Actually started to post, but thought the speculation might be more fun. @trisk has it right, but I think this is a prototype/mockup so I wouldn't recommend trying to make it work as a lamp. It looked to me like a giant peephole viewer so I added the eye and had it greeting visitors to my cube for a while.
@pitamuffin after much procrastination here is the box of awes...wait what is that, lets just cover that up...ome
Starting with the very apropos card Vanilla Creme Peeps - which were promptly eaten because sugar Built NY case, which I didn't bite on originally and coincidentally I do have a kindle fire I can put in it, so win Pet-O-Meter - Immediately put on my parents dog, it does appear to work though sparked a good debate on how to properly count the step total with the whole 4 vs 2 legs Mario Cart T-shirt - very cool and subtle Mint Cookie Candy bars - Replace above mention of sugar with chocolate Duck Dynasty air fresheners - very fitting not that I have move to the south, maybe it will help me fit in better Boom! bag - I so want to try this out, but also keep the mystery of how much awesome it really is. Fuku Bag - The only way I will ever get one as I have terrible luck! Halo Mini Calendar Skitter bot - My nephew will no doubt love Instant dinosaurs - Again heading to my nephew though I did try one just because Unicorns are Jerks coloring book Two packs of playing cards - Can never go wrong with more cards CKY4 DVD - Looks like Jacka** style? Pixies CD - don't think I have ever heard of them before and I need to find a CD player :) Shirt Woot Plushie - Bit confused what Plushies and Shirts have in common with each other More Meh Socks - Socks rule, because warm feet rule
All in all a quite epic box, you crushed it!
Oh yeah I forgot the yes....Borat Man-Kini....Thankfully I think? its still in the original packaging because the only thing possibly worse than a man-kini is a used man-kini. Though it should be renamed the therapy inducer, for both the wearer and wearee.
My box from @sohmageek came today stuffed full of awesome things. First up- random stuff
Transformers laptop skin- claimed by daughter notebook and pen Halo for the Xbox (don't think it will work on our xbox360) heart containers (with ribbons!) Woot Bag! coupon file 3 cd boxes home organization book for us hoarders genuine Vermont maple syrup- need to make waffles this weekend
I was just starting at Meh when this was for sale so I only bought a reasonable number of sleeves, which I have used. Nice!
Next, more random stuff
2 switchback Brewing stickers Apple sticker Goulet pens bookmark Starbucks pad Starbucks sleeve, leather lens cleaning wipes tiny stylus case for playing cards- nice! bag of glass blobs air fresheners- pomegranite sangria, smells nice 20 sided die chopstick helper giant clip- can this be used as a cupholder? bag inside of a bag tiny picture frame
Pebble computer speakers- will try these out jam speaker- these are really nice a-jays earbuds nice! jabra talk bluetooth earphone so people won't think I'm crazy when I talk to myself USB fan- claimed by son Qmote- I have no idea what this is but I will find out. 2 hdmi cables- gold! 2 screen savers for an Optimus L9- is that a transformer? night light 4 wall warts including a twist and charge which looks like a fire hazard
@sammydog01 Try it- at one point, there was backwards compatibility for some Xbox games. It's also available for Xbox 360 as the Halo Anniversary edition (as part of the Platinum Hits collection). It's quite a good game- I'm enjoying it a lot.
@dashcloud Woo! Thanks for the game offer- my return address will be on the box I haven't put together to send you yet. If you have games you don't use anymore the kiddies would be amused.
My apologies to @gnext2 that it has taken me this long to post my items. It was a busy weekend followed by a multiple day sickness.
Here is my meh box of awesomeness:
A stack of card envelopes. I can use as pages for notes. The most recent issue of Vogue – Are you trying to tell me something? I’m super nerd stylish. A travel toiletries bag A can of Cold Brew Iced Coffee, while not a coffee drinking I do have family members who will appreciate it. A Pet Shop Boys CD “Very” – Mr. Leela or should I say Mr. Fry was excited about this. Letter “H” note cards – now just to find someone with that initial. Sugar Free Carmel Syrup – Strangely tastes like normal sugar ice cream topping (not that I tried it). 300 5x8 Note Cards – These come in handy I’m sure I will get plenty of use out of them. Napoleon Dynamite Photo Album Command Outdoor Window Hooks – Appreciated…why do these things cost an arm & a leg? A USA Commemorative Olympic Sports Medallion for Archery from 19996. A miniature Buzz Lightyear figure 2 Chia Squeeze Vitality Snacks in Mango Coconut – I’m sure I have a niece or nephew who will take on the challenge of trying these. 2 Chia Bars – either @gnext2 loves or hates Chia A Guiding Eyes for the Blind Tote with the cutest lab puppy on it A Packet of Kool-Aid Pink Swimmingo - See comment about Chia Squeeze Some department store samples for lotion, primer and perfume. Will pass on to nieces due to fragrance allergies but I’m sure they will enjoy. 10 Reese’s Clusters from winter but best buy date of 6/2016. They taste like Take 5’s without the pretzel, not that I ate something a stranger sent to me in the mail. An Auction Catalog from Sotheby’s (why do I pronounce an R in that?) for the Estate of Katharine Hepburn. This looks really interesting. I plan to look through it and then leave it on the coffee table so people who visit me will think I am more interesting than I let on.
@Cation I finally shipped my box out today, so I opened yours. Here's what was inside: "Large" VMP shirt How to speak Zombie guide book Wierd-ohs Build your own monster Light-up noodle Bitcoin Magazine A moo-can Ranch-Flavored Dental Floss Meat doneness sticks Calligraphy set A deck of Bicycle Playing Cards Fancy aluminum foil Cincinnati Bengals Baby Stuff Bluetooth earbuds (not pictured) Protractor Ruler Compass A frilly pirate apron A classical physics page A Feynmann Diagram A USB Charger battery thing Earguards to keep the creepy crawliez out And an Ooma
Getting a photo was difficult since the kids snagged all the fun stuff immediately.
Thanks Cation! I think the ranch floss is my favorite.
@lumpthar Yay! I hope it was entertaining. It was really fun to put together. I have tried their nihilist toothpaste and bacon picks, their wasabi pop rocks and salt mints, but not the ranch floss. I wish I had packed all of my single socks, though. Then the other one would have showed up and you could send me back the ones I sent.
Sorry I'm a couple of days late, but here's the lovely box with a note from @Nikodemus!
Worth the wait:
Meh keychain thing and jointed fish - cooool 3D printed stuff, is the fish a cable winder?
Origami paper by Yasutomo - been meaning to get back into origami and these look pretty legit
Mindfulness Coloring for Grown Ups - yasss a coloring book
Not one, but two American Civil War DVDs - apparently a mind-boggling 7 hours of documentary footage of famous battles
Jelly Belly "Bean Boozled" - combines my cherished pastimes of eating Jelly Bellys and tempting fate: is it Coconut or Baby Wipes? Peach or Barf?
Human organ sticker sheets - the adorable kind. gf (a veterinarian) is claiming all of them
Insignia pin from Star Trek movies - perfect for impersonating starship captains if you live in the future
R2-D2 Pez dispenser - one of the lesser-known features of R2-D2?
Brain "Splat Ball" - I really want to throw this at a wall but it'll get dirty and gross the moment we open it... that might add to the realism, though
Dell mouse - ironic because I sent a Dell touchpad in one of my boxes!
Hellraiser canvas print - creepy Pinhead dude, maybe we should hang it in the bathroom
Also a brown paper bag with something about alcohol taxes in North Carolina, I think!
@trisk It's probably good that you got the adult coloring book. My wife absolutely hates those things. They annoy her to no end.
I don't think the fish is anything other than just an articulating fish. I was impressed with it, though, because it seems to have been printed already assembled (Maybe that's not anything special in the 3D printer world and I'm impressed over nothing). What printer do you have @Nicodemus?
@SpenceMan01@trisk The fish is indeed just a fish, one of the this looks too cool not to print, and is strangely amusing the way it flops back and forth.
My printer is Lulzbot Taz4, it works well all of the time and great some of the time. The fish is a good test with the enclosed joints. Are the settings perfect...Yay flexy fish, are the settings not so perfect...Well non flexy fish, are the settings really not so good....You get a roughly fish shaped pile of plastic.
And its close enough Trisk, you're just using the Secret of Nimh spelling instead
@trisk And of course I copy/pasted your mistake in my response. :-p
@Nikodemus A buddy of mine has several and I always got the impression that they are pretty finicky. They seem cool, but I haven't been able to justify getting one myself.
When I opened my box, I immediately exclaimed, "Oh, crap!" Well... what I actually said was, "Poo emoji!" But... close enough.
In any case, the poo emoji was a great way to ensure that @trisk's hopes for my home to be "filled with crap from the internet" would be fulfilled.
And now for the items...
Most of the Stuff - Yankees PEZ Dispenser - Blue (!) Kitchen Set - putting measuring spoons in camping stuff and spatulas in TX - Feelings Wheel - Might attach string to wear around my neck to help my husband determine how to safely approach me each morning. - Dinosaur Puzzle - Coloring Book - Bat Ring - Red Dragon (visibly annoyed by the bat on his head) - Dog Head - eyes bulge when you squeeze it - Fingerlamp - Noisemaker Thingies - Bubbles! - Magic Drawing Board - Husband seemed as excited about this as I was. We might need to have some kids or something so we can buy more toys. - Zhip Stand - Racing Cars - Alphabet Stamp Set - T Stamp - Sidewalk Chalk - Keychains - Tiny Plastic Toys - Candy
The Rest of the Stuff - Smart Wallet - I've considered buying one of these many times. So... Yay! - Cricket LG Risio Phone (Apparently Unused) - Pocketknife-Style Key Holder (Could Barely keep my husband away long enough to take a picture. He made one a few weeks ago, but... still got awfully grabby when he saw this one.) - Chinese Knot Tassel (I actually love these things) - Tiny Tobasco (dry, but really cute) - Bottle Markers - Sample says "Where's my water"... which means someone should have gotten one of these things to that guy a little bit sooner. - Penguin Picture Ornament - Stuffed Poo Emoji - Is this a commentary on my forum presence? I guess I love it, either way. - Webcam - Blingy Pen - with its own velvety case. - uber free ride codes
Not Pictured (Oops!) - Something I'm about 98% sure is Google Cardboard (virtual reality glasses; I'm looking forward to playing with them!)
I left for TX this morning, so I can't fix the forgotten picture issue. (Great timing for the box, by the way! My last day in town for a week and a half.) I would ask my husband to send a picture, but we'd probably end up with a pile of shoes or a heap of dirty laundry as the background. Nobody wants to see that.
In all, it was a very fun box. AND... it contained multiple items I've wanted but might have never bought myself. Conclusion: all-around awesomeness.
Note: This was written last Tuesday. However, my time in Texas was so busy that I just now found the time to upload all of the pictures. (Decided not to fiddle with the text.) Can we just pretend this is last Tuesday and I am getting this up in a timely manner?
@christinewas Couldn't come up with a math joke, so I figured I'd send literal crap.
The LG phone's twin is taped to the wall of our kitchen to watch the cat feeder. It's amazing we are in an era where brand new pocket computers cost less than dinner -- so take that, IZON View 2.0. Other use suggestions:
Superior alternative to Penguin Picture Ornament
Crappy GoPro
Amazon Echo knockoff (always-on Google Now)
Dedicated video game thing
Internet of Things sensor or remote
Overengineered strobe light or glowstick
Enjoy the Google Cardboard viewer! It technically snaps together, but some glue may come in handy.
@trisk All great uses. We actually have a couple old phones we keep around for specific apps and things like audiobooks. I spent most of my time in Texas doing a garage sale, so I brought the phone with me. I ended up selling it to a family that was getting their teen/pre-teen her first smart phone. She had a friend with the same phone and was beside herself with excitement. It paid for coffee, later, but seeing her enthusiasm is where the real value came in. Thanks for the experience!
Oh well, I posted in the wrong thread earlier, sorry Mehtizens. Here's a repost! @mikibell Here we go! Here's the goods thanks @mikibell Miki must have been snooping in because she sent ALL kinds of stuff for me, my daughter, my son-in-law and my grandgirls! 3 Body Warmers! (Camping!) 6 "Create Your Own Flipbooks"! (Great for Grandkids!) 1 set of 4 Glow in the Dark Stair Treads! (My daughter needs these!) 1 nice hanging acrylic photo holder! (For pictures of beautiful Grandgirls!) 1 set of Rand McNally message makers! (Great for a busy household!) 1 Built Neoprene Kindle sleeve! (Very Nice!) 1 pr Precision Touch Gloves! (Perfect for my girl!) 8 pkgs Wet Wipes! (Camping!) 1 bottle Spiderman hand sanitizer! (Camping!) 3 assorted college patches! (Nice!) 1 pkg acrylic fingernail paint! (Grandgirls!) A box of Maple Leaf pancake molds! (Breakfast w/ Grandpa!) A big ol' cable lock for an iPod! (no iPod lol) A nice Wooden Spice Rack! (I can use this!) A whole big tube of gum balls! (mmm Grandkids!) 12" Sun Garland! (pool party ready!) A Jeweled Handbag Holder! (are those real jewels?) A magnetic "My Week" list! (an aspirational list!) 3 funny business cards! (yup! lol) 5 Dove chocolates! (Yum! sorry kids!) 1 pr laser light show/fireworks glasses! (Frrreaky!) A big ol' bag of Nerds! (Kids aren't going to see this!) A cool "Twist & Charge" USB charger! (Always need more outlets!) A roll of 27 exposure Xpressload film! (no camera lol)
And best of all, a snazzy Emerson SmartSet AM/FM Clock Radio! Very Nice! I've already got it all set up with the current Year, Month, Day and Date! It's got an internal lithium back-up battery that's replaceable too! I've actually been looking for a decent clock radio for my office and this one seems to be perfect! Great! Wonderful! Thanks SO much Miki! Oh shit! I was so excited about the clock radio I forgot to mention the fantastic Eclipse bluetooth speaker! I've been needing a speaker for my bedroom and this looks like it will fill the bill! thanks!
@therealjrn don't get too excited about the bluetooth speaker..it is a meh product that was known not to work because the battery wouldn't charge. I was too lazy to open all of the packages I had to check them. I think someone posted a reasonable battery replacement. I am glad you liked the crap. I didn't know about the grandgirlies or I would have sent doubles!
@mikibell Thanks miki :) Yup, three of em. 13, 7, and 6 months...my poor son-in-law is awash in a sea of estrogen over there lol The clock radio really is very nice. I had to manually set the year, date and time and replace the back-up battery (I had one on hand!) but it's going to be fine. The alarms are a little soft for me but since it's going in the office it doesn't matter. People over on AMZN are lamenting that it's out of production lol.
This is more than a week overdue, but I am finally posting the fantastic box I received from @djslack.
First of all, the box was gigantic. I genuinely believe the contents of all five of the other boxes I sent or received in this exchange could have fit into this one box. (That is said from the perspective of someone whose packing skills stop just short of Time Lord technology when she really applies herself. So we're talking lots of stuff. But the box was truly YUGE.)
I usually try to break the pictures and lists down into smaller portions that are easier to process, but to do so would rob you of the true impact of how much stuff was waiting for me when I returned from Texas. (Well... that... and I guess I was being kind of lazy.)
Ok... Enough rambling. Here it is!
3 "Pair to Spare" Disposable Thongs (both amusing and potentially useful in an emergency)
Tiny Frisbee
SanDisk Something-or-other
Notepad
Red & White Stand w/ Stylus
Tiny Pink Troll
Sunglasses Clip (claimed by husband)
Pen that Retracts into Stylus
Green Beads
Bieber Floss (For removing Bieber from the teeth... which is now my new name for plaque and bothersome food particles.)
Blue Moon Keychain
Otter Box Case
Purple iHome
Cowgirl Coasters
Headlamp (I love headlamp! Seriously, I can never have enough of these things.)
Duct Tape
Aliens Watch (very cool)
Sheep & Wolf
BK Texans Jersey (I kind of liked the Texans... until they stole my quarterback from Montana. Osweiler being a Bronco made me really happy. Sigh...)
Marvel Team-ups
Butterfly Box
Calendar Mousepad (already in use)
Yellow Big Wheel
The Crow Statuette
Louisiana Hot Sauce Neoprene Bottle Koozie
Smelly Crab (let's not talk about how long it took me to figure out why the box smelled so strongly of air freshener)
Reading Glasses
Red Sunglasses
Electronics Wipes (I'm weirdly excited about these)
PJ Pants
Trip Glasses
Green Cup with Straw
OK... So it was still too much to reasonably try to fit into one picture. Whatever. These last items are the ones that excite me most. I have a bit of an "As Seen on TV" weakness and I LOVE puzzles. (And these look like great ones!)
2 Puzzles (1000 pieces and 2000 pieces. Perfect. But I will die a little on the inside if I find pieces missing.)
Shot Glass Chess (Appears to be unopened. It primarily made this group because of it's dimensions and not because I'm like, "OMG! OMG! Drinking!")
RoboStir (I'm hoping this will supplement my husband's stirring and not just eliminate the little bit he actually will do when he's making something in a pot. Still, I think it's best if I continue to be responsible for the bechamel sauce or... well... probably any sauce.)
DeliPro (We still haven't played with the one I bought, but this would be fun to give to someone if we discover that it really works.)
Curl-A-Dog... Comes in two sizes! To curl your weiner, whether it be large or... uhh... "regular". (Includes skewers, as well. Skewer those sausages!)
An excellent box with many things I will definitely use and enjoy. Thanks, @djslack!
@christinewas Glad you enjoyed it! The puzzles should be intact, unless our dog who was a puppy a year ago ate a piece. My fiancee puts them together once and then is done with them. I know the 1980s one was bought and assembled on vacation in Florida last summer because i helped with it.
I do believe the shot glass chess set is unopened, at least we never played it. I got in enough trouble with a similar shot glass roulette set a while back.
The crab hangs on your car visor and holds bath and body works pouches of pretty good smelling air fresheners. Apparently in my fiancee's car they go out of style and must be replaced for ones that look different; mine has the same holder it's had in it since she first gave it to me a few years ago.
And the deli knives do work; not sure about this particular model Meh sold but my dad must have a half dozen of them of various makes and there's invariably one present at holidays to slice turkey or ham. I sent it away so he wouldn't get it lol. That and I'm trying to actually hone my knife skills in cooking so i felt like I'd never use it myself.
I personally thought the emergency thongs could be useful but my fiancee did not agree, and, well, I'm not wearing them. I think those and the Crow statue may also have come from a box @mossygreen sent me before.
I also want to state for the record that there is nothing wrong with using the regular size wiener curler. They make just as satisfying a treat as bigger ones. I actually got fussed at for bringing larger size wieners to a cookout once, and asked to just bring regular ones next time.
@sammydog01 Sorry about that. They are doing construction on my street and the USPS delivers when they're in the mood (they have a line of traffic behind them every day now). My UPS guy says that he's lost weight from running to keep things moving. I would have been so sad if it had been lost!
@sammydog01 Hmmppff...we have 2 months left of this, I really hope that they figure it out! Btw, I didn't realize that you were the one who made the Irk doll. Much respect & I will post a better picture in the next day or so.
8 tubes of glitter (will be used by the teenager to bedazzle climbing shoes)
5000 Standard Staples from Staples
Kershaw Clash Knife (should I be concerned that the teenager immediately tries to claim every knife that comes into my house)
Namco Game with Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Pole Position, Mappy & Xevious (not sharing this until after finals)
Pittsburgh 7 pc. Nut Driver Set
PBR Coasters
2 Neoprene Can holders
Bischoff Cookies
AA & AAA batteries from Ikea
A small chair (this is a bit lost on me)
An Apple iBook. Yes, that's right, @Lumpthar sent me a computer with the disclaimer "It's slow and mostly awful, but it does work." I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the computer but I was overjoyed to see the power cord. I have an ancient powerbook that requires the same power cord for which the teenager shredded the end. There's a DVD, photos & files that I am happy to be able to pull off of that computer now. I tried to deal with it a while ago & I have been avoiding the search for a replacement cord that is no longer made. Problem solved & delivered to my front door! Thank you @lumpthar!!!
@glindagw I'm so glad you got the "Staples Staples" idea. I was worried nobody would get that one. I'm happy you found something useful out of my junk! The tiny "design chair" was a bit confusing for me, too. That's why you have it now.
@lumpthar I tried to use the design chair as a phone stand but the phone slid out like a drunken college student. I think that I'll pass it on in the next exchange. The Staples Staples made me giggle, it's more fun now that I know that it was deliberate. btw, the darn dog loved the cookies (didn't think about it when I left things in the box).
Arrived home to a wonderful, great big box from @glindagw today! I think it's about the same size as the one I sent out that @christinewas said was so large!
There is so much stuff here! First there was a lovely note explaining that a rainstorm ruined the first box and requiring a repacking effort (no apology necessary!) and discussing quantity vs quality. You've throughly achieved both, @glindagw! There are lots of smiles inside.
F-15 ASAT Combined Test Force patch (badass!)

Gold's Gym Fitness Tote
Clorox Roller Mop refill sponge
And last but certainly not least, an amazing Ugly Christmas Sweater Kit for some DIY holiday cheer!
@djslack Thanks, now I have cherry chapstick stuck in my head. I thought the robot pattern was great but it doesn't fit my paperwhite well. I'm pleased to have sent off a Built NY case that you actually like.
@djslack I, too, received a box from @Glindagw, which arrived this past Monday. I just haven't yet had the chance to catalogue, other than to capture the current situation in my office:
Just MJ & JT chillin' out in their (not really) hermetically-sealed transportation chambers. #legends
p.s. Full disclosure: only one of these came from the current exchange. For now, it will be a mystery.
p.p.s. Yes, I re-posted from the other forum. Thirty lashes, or whatever.
@Mehrocco_Mole sent me my mediocre crap a while ago. I don't even remember the date at this point. Two weeks ago? More? I opened it that following week and took some photos but haven't been able to upload or post for a while. But, finally, my mediocre reveal:
I. A Very Well-Taped Box.
II. An Overflowing Open Box.
III. A Box's Contents Laid Out.
IV. A List of Contents. - Organizer - Four pack of men's boxerbriefs - The Office mug - Multi-usb charger - Seasons one and two of Get Smart - A romance novel - Beginner knit pack - Old box of hors d'ouevre sticks - Two packs of Wisp breath sticks - A cutter (for mangoes? Thank you for my box of stuffs, @Mehrocco_Mole! Some of it will get used!
@goldenthorn First and most important I hope your family situation has been resolved and all is well.
It's actually a Tie Fighter sandwich cutter. Came in a long since demolished Star Wars lunch box. The picture frame: My cyber stalking didn't get me much info other then you have a tea drawer (the tea flower is from my wife) so I didn't know if children are involved in your life. If so, take a picture of yourself and record a message for them. Or record them with a picture of both of you. Priceless in a few years.
I think the round circle thing you're referring to is the smart phone stand. (at 3:00 in the picture)
Finally received an overflowing box from @goldenthorn. So much interesting and personal stuff. You must be a world traveler as this collection is truly an International Exchange. Are you Dora the Explorer?
We enjoyed everything and truly appreciated all the hand-written notes with explanations and stories with the history of certain items. Bravo!

Giardiniera - Pepper sauce like stuff from Chicago
650 piece jelly bean puzzle

DeliChoc - International Cookies - from Far Away Land
Orange Bag
United Nations Space Command Bag - From Space!?

MRE heater & bag - You must need this stuff when out exploring
Tried hard not to skip/miss anything but might have…
All this was really cool and worth the wait. We sincerely appreciate it all! Thank you so much!
@kphilippe Glad you liked it ! The pink things are sport lids for Sigg bottles. They can be somewhat difficult to find and always sold out on Woot. That said, you had to buy multiples and my bottle disappeared so these never were used.
@ceagee That candy place has tours according to their website. Have you ever been? They also have those pastel mints that I love. If you lived further east I would stop by.
@sammydog01 When I was a kid. Also they came and did a demo in my youth club when I was around 8 or 9. The guy spilled hot melted chocolate that was going to go in a mold on me. I got the mold he made : ) My mom was not happy as my new shirt was ruined but I could care less bc chocolate !
It’s a great place just to walk into. The smell is intoxicating.
If someday you make it this way, stop on by and we’ll go get chocolate !
@Kidsandliz I think the first thing is a gag prop. You wear it like a headband over your head and it looks like a knife is through your skull. At least that is what I did to freak out my kids.
@kphilippe You win the meanest parent in the “whole wide world” (to quote my kid) award for the day you did that. Of course to keep that award you need to dream up other equally devious things to do each day. Normally my kid claimed, when she still lived at home, I was the winner (for saying no, for making her do chores, do homework, etc.), but I think you earned it for that. (grin).
I had a surprise when I got home from work today… A box with my name and address and no return address, shipped from Idaho.
Now I don’t know if this is the@anon or just a Mehtizen who would prefer to remain anonymous, but either way, thanks!
Contents:
-Shimmer Body Art Tattoos, which I may rock despite all the illustrations on the back depicting female wearers
-Duracell iPhone 5 screen protectors
-LifeCharge iPhone 5 battery case
-Xtreme Dashboard Pad sticky phone pad
-Soccer folding speakers
-Pet-O-Meter pet pedometer, currently on dog doing science (tonight is a baseline to see what she does all day while we’re gone)
-Targus Mini Coolwave netbook cooling stand
-Q-Pop Classic TV Batman figurine, Lootcrate Exclusive
-Funko Pop Doc Brown, also a Lootcrate exclusive
-And the piece de resistance, a Sonic Screwdriver Spork, also from the Lootcrate Time box
Thanks, Anon! It actually does include everything I hoped for–a surprise box of fun! And quality stuff too!
@Stallion i just started up my second masters program in school administration so im pretty swamped with that and teaching. Earliest i can set things up would be Winter Break.
@studerc I can run one for you if you want - unfortunately time is what I have a lot of right now. My main part time job just temporarily laid me off the end of August and my second part time job is leaving me with precious little to do starting in 3 weeks until the second week of January.
@Kidsandliz if you wanna run an exchange, then by all means.
While ive been the guy running them for quite some time now i have no qualms with passing the torch to anyone who wants to run it.
Truth be told, Im quite surprised that nobody else hasnt just up and started one.
**For the record Im totally fine with sharing any and all of the forms and documents created for the exchange if someone is interested in jumpstarting one. Just lemme know!
@Yoda_Daenerys Lemme know if you want access to the forms, email and sheets system I’ve been using. If you wanna go all fucking renegade that’s cool too!
Got a package from @juststephen today. I’m still boxing mine up and this arrives. I need to pick up the pace a bit.
5 photographs. If you did these you have an eye for the picture. And perfect framing too.

@Mehrocco_Mole Wife made out like a bandit.
@Mehrocco_Mole There's also "It was the CAT" magnet stuck behind the "It was the DOG" magnet. Gotta be fair, you know?
@juststephen Sorry, there was so much stuff I missed the dog one. The other item not listed because my son took it before the pictures was the tube of POG Discs and two slammers. (Didn't think I would know what they were did ya?) I have a fight on my hands with my sons to hold on to them.
Overall you did a fantastic job! I can only hope my stuff meets the standard you have set.
@Mehrocco_Mole @juststephen
POGS!!!!!!!
@Mehrocco_Mole
@juststephen Few more things:
3 cats and two dogs so fair it is.
The tiles spell my name.
The wife is using your google-eyed discs as models for a Mother's Day project in her classroom.
The coins: 1 Mexican peso, 25 Ecudorian cents, and 1 Russian rouble.
@Mehrocco_Mole FYI: @juststephen is a shipping overachiever. I think he was TRYING to be first. That's just not meh
@juststephen I just got a chance to go through your photos. Great work! You've got a good eye.
@compunaut I was just enthusiastic, do i got it out the first opportunity I had! :)
@hallmike Doesn't mean her claims will be honored.
I also got one of mine particularly early...haven't even got mine sent out yet. Overachievers.
Here's the run down from @delivery

@studerc GAH FUCK, autocorrect you sick mother ducker.
Shout out to @DMlivezey!
@studerc @Mehrocco_Mole
Now I kinda maybe possibly feel slightly remotely bad about the box i sent being so bland.
(I mostly feel bad though that the gerbil didn't get any air holes)
@FroodyFrog i havent sent yours out yet...its pretty good if you ask me...but if you are worried yours will suck in comparison to others i can empty it out and just send some worthless garbage. :)
@studerc
Awww.
Somebody cares.
@studerc quick check the halo before the batteries...
... too late.
@studerc This might be a duplicate post, or I might be forgetful, or both, but you may have overlooked the heavily wrapped Meh.vintage Fuji AAA battery I included (yup, I kept those)
@studerc For future reference, how long is the waiting period to complain about non-receipt? It's been two weeks since you sent out names.......
@studerc
did you exchange several?
I am so regretting that I somehow missed all of the Mehrican Exchanges. Apparently, I am getting better, as I learned of this most recent one only about four days after it closed.
Would someone, anyone, please, please @ mention me for the next one? I really really need to get rid of these boxes of cra... er... stuff.
@baqui63
Just send it all to @galmaegi. She must be bored since she hasn't gotten anything of note lately (I'm assuming).
@FroodyFrog I'm so bored, got nothing to do. Just playing some connect four. Paper sponsored by @Mehrocco_Mole
@galmaegi
Hmmm...
And as a side note;
Do you like Sudoku?
@FroodyFrog Nah, that's too much for me.
@galmaegi
Gotcha.
This will be fun.
If you want really terrifying pics, the first two images in this thread. They're so terrifying, I didn't want to post the images here directly. shudder
@galmaegi I was wondering what you were doing with them. BTW: When not photo bombing my Fuko pics my half of that deal resides in a prominent location.
@FroodyFrog Wait, I think they're adorable!
@galmaegi
°_°
Anyways... besides the 2 handheld games you're getting next week, I now of another game.
However, it's such a complex game, that i wouldn't just recommend it for anyone.
Unless you feel up for the challenge...
@baqui63 Send your address to my username at Google. I can compound your problem.
@baqui63 Just checking- did you see this year’s edition closes at midnight?
@OldCatLady Yes, thanks. I signed up less than a day after the latest one started.
@glindagw I apologize profusely but I require more time to get your box together. I am out of town for most of the next two weeks. It will ship as soon as I stop traveling.
Shipping tomorrow. All packed up. Might send a second I always get penis I mean package insecurity.
@connorbush Well, I cant speak to the rest of your... uhh... package insecurity, but I loved the box you sent me in the last exchange. This little letter opener, for example, lives by my seat and makes my life a little bit happier every day.
@christinewas Wow. That is actually awesome
@connorbush where did you get that, i need it in my life
@Catdad i think my cousin brought it back from europe.
@connorbush Thanks, since europe is not a current option, looked at found on amazon for under 8. It shall sing letters open
OH, it's a bird! I see it now! Only took me 23 hours.
Just got back from the post office. The OR one arrives Saturday, TX Wednesday.......
@StrangerDanger I suppose I should also post your note describing the difficulty in doxxing me. Thanks for everything!
@capguncowboy I'm working on posting the reveal. I'm sorry it's taken me so long... Will post soon!
@sohmageek no rush. I DID send it out later than I had planned. A little extra wait time for you to post it up won't kill me
@capguncowboy here it is. In all its glory :)
@sohmageek btw you can hear @stitch in the background and see @tiwanaku she actually made the still image!

Also received this letter. Great stuff!!
@stardate820926
So THAT'S what happened to my bouncy ball
Oh, and I'm trying to work on part 2, although I don't think it's going to happen. It was supposed to be this and a noise machine, although there were some technical issues.
@FroodyFrog haha my cats have already claimed it so hopefully you weren't too attached to it.
@stardate820926
It's fine. I've learned that it's safer for me not to develop too strong an emotional bond with anything.
@zachdecker
Holy guacamole..I will post more later..just got in from traveling..been awake for 28 hours..
@zachdecker
Still amazed at the box..
Lens cloth -- for those pesky finger prints
BOOOOKKKSS!
Wow -- you do realize this is supposed to be mediocre crap, right?
My package from @ugadogch arrived!
10 (!) cowboy hats, all of which are too small for my big head
2 American Flags, perfect for a 4th of July parade
1 pair big pink glasses, also appropriate for a parade
1 package of dinosaur poop, perfect for 6+ years apparently
1 slightly flat basketball
1 crystal-growing set! Never tried these but have always wanted to! I don't have much luck growing plants so maybe I'll have better luck with crystals.
1 iPad Mini case in a perfect pattern for my boss, who unfortunately has a Kindle and so misses out
1 teeny-tiny flathead screwdriver
1 heavy Meta smartwatch. Wow, wearing this will give my arm a workout.
Thank you!
Also 2 Bell Radian 850 USB rechargeable locking lights
No user name found, but based on contents, I'm guessing thanks go to @CaptAmehrican, packaged arrived to day including:
- Irk dressed as @CaptAmehrican drawn on the USPS flat rate box
- Nice bamboo cutting board, still in shrink wrap
- 3 'to go' wine tumblers (great, I can take up drinking and driving again without spilling)
- Avengers beanie
- Avenger PJs
- Glow in the dark ear rings
- Green PlayDoh
- Glow in the dark Party Pack of Glow Sticks
- I sheet of Disney stickers
- 3 knockoff Hot Wheels cars
- Sperry Top sider wrist band
- 2 eye glass repair screwdriver thingys (Costco?)
- Post-it flags
- Pelican MityLite with oozing battery (Meh.Fuji AAA perhaps?)
Thanks again!
@DMlivezey Yup was me. Sorry flashlight battery was not bad pre shipping.
@CaptAmehrican Well at least it didn't leak onto the PJs , I figured it was just the t-i-c part of the gift, Meh.
Received my box from @compunaut this morning! Thanks to the handy, enclosed list, this post should be absurdly simple.
Since the list contributed significantly to the enjoyment factor of the box, I'm going to include a few quotes. Here are the items, broken down into four easy-to-process segments...
The stuff I almost forgot to photograph:
- "Birthday balloon (belated and deflated)"
- Vitamints samples and an assortment of "mostly useless coupons"
Edible Easter:
- Dark chocolate bunny, "because chocolate"
- 24k Eggs coloring kit
- Yellow and purple Peeps bunnies, "because peeps" and "because purple"
- Carton of marshmallow eggs
- Black jelly eggs
My husband got most of the candy, but the peeps are mine. All mine. (Yeah, I'm one of those people. Get over it. I'm not making you eat them.)
The Practical Stuff:
- Retractable charging cable for all the things -- This will be my new car charging cable because I've been wanting something retractable
- "1/2 gallon travel mug (non-bubba) Warning: will not fit in std cup holder" -- Finally, a travel mug that can keep up with my drinking habits.
- Target water bottle, "because water"
- Multi-tool and knife set, "meh quality" -- Will tuck into various places where we might find ourselves wanting knives. (Places like the very bottom of my camping day-pack, for the times when I have forgotten to put my real knife back, again, after pulling it out to do something.)
- Older iPhone cable -- Husband claimed for an old iPad.
- Anti-slip mobile phone mount (the blue card with an M on it)
- Yaktrax traction cleat, "umm, 1/2 pair; works great for 1 foot" -- Anyone interested in a game of ice hopscotch?
- Can and bottle opener -- Possibly destined for the Subaru, because... you never know when you might need to open a can?
- "Latin pencil" that came, saw, and conquered.
- Fujifilm camera... the kind that requires film and doesn't make phone calls!
The Fun Stuff
- Sidewalk Chalk
- Work Teasers - Faith Edition (Probably more practical than fun
- "Model dinosaur (never assembled)"
- Light-up glasses
- Black makeup
- Uno
- Hawkeye ring, "because superhero"
- Wooden puzzle
- Wind-up robot toy
- Tealight candles (I guess this one is more practical, too. Then again... fire!)
- Multi-colored Pen
- Flashing squishy ring... Or is it a fabulous hat for a wind-up robot???
Thanks, @compunaut!
@christinewas Wow! nice box, because categories

Hahahaha

Thank you so much @readnj love everything....
@SColburn Hurray! So glad you enjoyed it!
I am also an office supply enthusiast.
@SColburn I bought some of those Nut Thins Saturday on a wine tour. I like them a lot.
@SColburn yea I was very impressed with all that content in one box I got.
My first person revived theirs on Saturday in PORTLAND, OR 97220 . I hope they found it mediocre enough?
@StrangerDanger Revived??? So you sent something dead and they needed to do CPR on it?
@Kidsandliz lol I wrote that before i had coffee. That's why you put holes in the box before you place in the cat.
Enjoy!
@studerc
Just got the box. I'll post pics later, but now I'm depressed by the twix.
@FroodyFrog Accidentally purchased 3 sets of 6 bags a few weeks ago when Amazon had a killer liquidation of chocolate stuffs. Wife insisted that I send at least one bag to help get rid of some!
@studerc
Have fun blaming your wife for her condemning an innocent bag of chocolate to a fate of meeting the garbage (due to when it came, I can't have it in my house). The rest of the box cheered me up though.
@FroodyFrog Happy Passover!
@FroodyFrog I'll send you another bag in a week or so :)
@studerc
Because I'd feel guilty, how about I give you two MLB tickets? Location might be a problem, but maybe you know someone who'd like them.
(I don't actually have them yet, and probably won't until around June)
@studerc If there is chocolate coming in my package from Waverly today, then my wife is going to be very happy.
@zachdecker happy wife...happy zachdecker. Youre welcome.
@FroodyFrog Uh, why didn't you just give the Twix away?
Ok, damn you people and your fun boxes. I am in on the next one.
@hallmike - never mind I finally saw the note about what was in that envelope besides what I already mentioned. You are very kind.
Thank you so much this was fantastic!!
oh the list
2 Koontz books (Seize the night and Relentless) and while I have read a number of his books, I have not read these two

First Alert pest repeller
Wireless stratus gema controller for ipods, iphones and ipads 3.5 stars amazon

Fishing line
Green alien with a ribbon
LED keychain light
Size 6 flip flops and although they won’t fit me I know someone that they will
Ear phones
Heat therapy patch

2 things from old fukus (yes I have them too and was going to pass them on to my person – guess now I will still have a set LOL) foam dart gun and pumpkin carving set with a pattern book
candle stick
USA flag sticker with only 25 states. Hmm which states should we ditch – I know let’s start with the one I live in now – we’d all be better off if it was permanently part of the Gulf of Mexico.
4 joke things – invisible ink, “hot” tea, dirty face soap, sneezing powder. I know just the family where some late grade school boys would love these, and the party popper
A toothbrush with chinese tooth paste written in chinese – wait doesn’t china already make our tooth paste?

Something I don’t know what it is – blue with flowers on it – maybe a hotpad or something?
Okay, crazy weekend, but it looks like I'm finally all caught up.
I got my giant box from @parodymandotcom on Friday. For those of you familiary with my dickfaced mailman situation, you'll be pleased to know that he actually delivered the package! YAY!

@capguncowboy Maybe hide you address? @Thumperchick Can you help?
@speediedelivery Fixed. Thanks for that. I kinda' forgot about it :)
@speediedelivery looks like they got to it... or someone did.
Now that I have a chance to show what I got, enjoy:

- Woot flying screaming monkey (always wanted one)
- Keys to a 2012 Chevy Impala*
Thank you @studerc!
*oh wait, they're mine, nvm...
You rock!
Happy Meh Day!
Thanks for all of the stuffs! You're awesome.
@juststephen Gifter, I mean, I'm the giftee. Le sigh.
@DaveInSoCal It's this knife: http://www.amazon.com/Schrade-SCH103S-Partially-Serrated-Folding/dp/B00BQ0MWE0
Nice.
@DaveInSoCal I use those wine diapers for bottles of wine in my luggage when I travel. They are the best!!
@juststephen @DaveinSoCal
Is it a worthwhile knife to get?
@juststephen If you like puzzles, locksport (picking open locks for fun) is an awesome thing to do. Go buy some cheap padlocks and try your hand at them. The biggest group in the US involved with competitive lockpicking is TOOOL (although any local hackerspace/makerspace probably has a contingent of lockpickers).
Your box is really good- lots of cool things in there.
@juststephen Hope you can find the rest of the quadcopter. :(
Those Buckyballs are practically a collector's item now, since the original company was sued out of existence years ago.
@trisk @juststephen
Roughly 4 years ago I wanted to get Bucky Balls for myself. Unfortunately, it was right about when the crackdown was happening.
I ended up just getting a similar set from AliExpress though.
@FroodyFrog it's a little bulky for my taste. For free, it's an awesome knife. For $20+ I'd go with a CRKT, prolly.
@juststephen it's this knife: https://meh.com/forum/topics/2-for-tuesday-schrade-g10-tanto-serrated-knife :)
@DaveInSoCal
Any particular one in mind?
@FroodyFrog These?
@juststephen Is it just me or is the right ball slightly larger than the left?
@djslack "Is it normal for one ball to be a little bit bigger... Than the other two?"
Nothing to add. Just making you scroll through all those picture again.
So I revived a very tightly packed box from @christinewas
Banana slicer

Toothbrush
Dale Earnhardt playing cards

A nutcracker And picks
Bacon bowls x 4

One Direction cup
The C note pad

54 Necco wafers
Since I mentioned I like the Necco candy hearts and wafer she packed the box and every empty space with them. A note said " You casually mentioned enjoying these. I interpreted that as these are my favorite thing in the world" Well played!! (And I ate a bunch while opening the box)
@StrangerDanger Necco wafers are the best.
@sammydog01 text took a minute. I was trying to remember how do use the HTML code for images and then tested it. Too lazy to use computer and did it via phone.
@StrangerDanger I think the charger goes to the FM thingie. (No guarantees, though.)
Glad you enjoyed the candy! I, uhh... ate a few while I packed the box.
@christinewas I'll try that out when I get home. Most of the box has been claimed but the candy is off limits.
My box from StrangerDanger just arrived! I will open/post pics tomorrow. (oh, the suspense...)
@parodymandotcom So I get home and the wi-fi is out. Frontier says that there is currently no estimated time for a fix. So, I'm using my precious LTE minutes to post this and say it looks like the big reveal of my package from StrangerDanger will have to wait yet another day.
@parodymandotcom no worries. It's pretty mediocre items.
@Mehrocco_Mole
Is there any tape left at the post office??
Such a well packed box!
BOOOKSS
Awesome box of crap...
@mikibell @Mehrocco_Mole
The complete Hogan's Heros?
Got my box from @christinewas
"when you are caught in a traffic jam on the freeway"
"when you are taking care of sick or injured people"
Earbuds, mad cool kitty post-its, weird USB charger, Dell case, photo hanger (neato), and an "I'm not weird, I'm gifted" keychain. Thanks for the props, sister.
Crazy number game - "Top Spin", binary arts.
http://www.cs.brandeis.edu/~storer/JimPuzzles/ZPAGES/zzzTopSpin.html
Last, and decidedly the most fulfilling thing in the box....
Yes, I am a 12th (wo)man! And just reading your note gave me the wonderful memory of that fine day. The only football game I have ever watched twice!
So much fun. Thank you so much,@christinewas. I lurv it all
I would also like to add that I will be keeping your note in the lanyard, so I can read it when I'm having a bad day.
@cation the winner is you!
@cation that swan is hilarious
How do i post pictures? Polarbear 84 sent me a huge box
@CaptAmehrican I typically upload to Imgur. Then I post the direct link to the forums...just make sure you add the .jpg to the end of the link.
As for the printer, I had no room for it and wanted it out so badly, it was either exchange it, or this
@polarbear84 So how much did the shipping cost? I'm nosy, just saying.
@Pamtha I'm pretty sure I won the Shipping Cost contest. It was over a hundred bucks,
but worth it not to have to meet some creep to sell that damned printer on Craigslist.
@polarbear84 I want NASA logo'd stuff, if you're offering. A piece of the space shuttle? Maybe one converted into a fridge magnet? That would be awesome.
@DaveInSoCal
Why stop there? Maybe @polarbear84 can sneak out some actual used shuttles.
@FroodyFrog Pff. It's not like we're using space shuttles for anything else.
Funny you should say fridge magnet... I'll pop in the logo store next time I'm over there, probably tomorrow. See what they have "Fridge Magnet"-like
@polarbear84
"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few... Or the one."
If I get a used space shuttle, then I'll be content. If I'm content then MANY people won't have to deal with me.
I'm pretty sure that my needs outweigh NASA's needs.
@polarbear84 I'm pretty sure you'd make nearly any future Mehrican Exchange recipients happy with NASA-logo 'stuff'. It's pretty obvious what a bunch of nerds/geeks we are
@compunaut Yknow, if Capt Amehrican threw up some photos, everyone could see that swanky nasa "stuff" lolol
@DaveInSoCal Hey man, email me. aw.ward(at)inbox.com
I need your address, I have a small package here with your name on it.
giggity.
@polarbear84 done! I'm excited and concerned that i just gave someone who has access to satellites my home address
@DaveInSoCal
@DaveInSoCal The guy with the laser on the satellite got creative... Sorry...
@polarbear84 Nice try! Nobody in Cali has a lawn that green these days...
Let us know how it works!
@SColburn Received box from you yesterday - thank you! I'll update with photos as soon I can (it's a crazy busy week around here)
@compunaut
A box to our fearless leader, @studerc, went out Monday and should be delivered on Thursday.
@stardate820926 fuck yea. I love getting parcels in the mail!
@studerc it was "Delivered, Garage or Other Location at Address" today
From @studerc!
Norelco razor
Screen cleaning rag
Lots of photo paper that will all be put to good use
Hand wipes (going in the garage for after oil changes)
Bag of Twix, or is that Twixes? (wife claimed)
Two mushroom desk cleaner brush fan things
Duck Commander "Swamp in Jar" (youngest daughter claimed the rubber ducky in it to add to her collection)
A Huawei Glory Tracfone!
Two foam outlet insulation pads?...
Thanks!!
@studerc @zachdecker
I'm starting to see a recurring theme.
Your item was delivered at the front door or porch at 10:57 am on April 25, 2016 in MERIDIAN, ID 83642.
They said it'd be Saturday. Hoping my recipient enjoyed the extra two days before a box of mediocrity came and spoiled everything.
So mystery package arrived from Indianapolis, but no name? Mr or Mrs Brown? I got a
Thanks! The mouse is lounging in the catnip bucket to get a boost, and shall emerge shortly for afternoon shenanigans.
Shenanigans were had, and Desk Cat is now sleeping it off. Happiness and buzzed kitty dreams for EVERYONE!!
Hey @gnext2 - the Postal Orifice says you got a little something extra in your PO box on Monday.
@Pamtha Thank you so much, Sorry for the late response. I have been on vacation. I love my summer bag, the candies went fast. I gave the toys to my friends kids and they were ecstatic. The starbucks gift card will go into use asap as well. Thanks again!!!!
Somebody dropped a can of whoop-aSS storms here last night. Thanks--it was all very exciting.
Thanks, StrangerDanger!
That's a nice nerf basketball ring.
A lovely package was waiting for me when I got home today!
Conair massager - appears new and working
Meh snapcable and phone stand
Roll of dog poop bags
4 small white gauzy gift type bags
3 Mail Chimp pencils
Mail Chimp eraser and eraser figure (nice!)
Common Bond stickers
Small felt mouse (made me scream when I touched it pulling it out of the bag!)
Torch and stars coaster
Meh valentines candy hearts
A Fit Bit
Leather pouch
Electric tea candles
A small green adapter of some kind
A small metal plate of some kind
A Pink ribbon pin and 2 Pink ribbon ID badge thingies
A small skateboarder (?) figurine
I can't find a user name of who this might be from, but he/she is from Indianapolis - I'd rather not post the name on the mailing label.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love what you sent very much!
PS - My very first picture posted on the meh forums! I'm feeling stupidly accomplished.
@AnnaB great stuff! and congrats on the picture. It worked perfectly
@stardate820926 congrats on the picture! Took me at least 7 tries
Box number two arrived today from @stardate820926! Quite the haul of greatness. Bravo on a well done box, thoroughly impressed!
The run down...

Twist and Charge USB charger
2 decks of cards
50 tokens of various design
Set of Bacon Bowls
Set of Legos
Soccer ball speakers
4 packages of foam stickers

2 packages of tissues

Vinyl floral border
Various movie related pins...stellar! including...Pokemon the First Movie!
3 patches
Some super cool pins from the Paper, Hard Rock Cafe, Smithsonian, Fords Theater...huge history buff right here!
I hope this box of junk finds you in good health
Trisk
@trisk delivered by ups and left at front door.
@lishatanay This box is... amazing... astounding... legendary. And most definitely NSFW!
Pics forthcoming.
So @kidsandliz wins the best mehrican exchange box. Inside of this box was something everyone wants more of, but is nearly impossible to acquire. Mediocre socks.
Also, as a result if her awesome stalking, Red Sox ornament! Thanks for the great box!
https://imgur.com/a/EBpPm
Edit: I'm on mobile, how do i get the pics to show up instead of a link to the album. Halp @thumperchick?
@DaveInSoCal It's too late now, but in the future your link has to end in .jpg, .gif, or .png for the picture to show up in the forum.
@DaveInSoCal Hey take a photo of the meh ping pong balls - they took me ages LOL. Glad you liked the socks. Too bad they were too big for me. Hmm maybe I would have gotten rich auctioning them...
@Kidsandliz Holy crap! I can't believe I didn't take pics of these awesome balls!
@DaveInSoCal I see you picked out the best looking ones LOL And been eating candy.
@DaveInSoCal Those are amazing! Amazing writing skills there! Way to go @kidsandliz.
@Kidsandliz My wife thought they were printed straight from meh! So much awesome!
@DaveInSoCal Umm look at the differences between them and she will see they are not (grin). Hmm do you suppose I can now get a royalty from meh if they steal my idea to sell? LOL
here are the rest of his photos uploaded for him so people don't have to go elsewhere to see these
@connorbush
@darkzrobe thinspiratoon is the name of the game. I was at 250 working my way downnnn.
@connorbush Was at 290 down to 265. Almost at my first goal.
@darkzrobe you will be adorning the palm breeze shirt soon enough!!

@studerc It may be a bit early but if you have anyone left out in the cold or punked I can send another box.
@Mehrocco_Mole @studerc me too. I have tons more crap!
@studerc Also
Got mine a few days ago. When I picked it up, I thought it must be just one item. Nope -- just jam packed solid. It's going to take me a bit to get to the pictures, but I'll say this for now: Leak Frog! Thanks @kphilippe.
@kphilippe I’m a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad person. Here’s the way late picture of the loot.
Also… I finally found the thing that was the thing that I bought specifically for the exchange and that I couldn’t find when the exchanged happened. @readnj, do you want it? (I suppose just sending it without asking would be kind of creepy at this point.)
@walarney. Random free crap out of nowhere from someone who still has my name and address–Woot! Oops wrong site!
I may be sorry for saying this but if it was bought for the exchange and I am the exchangee…sure!
Okay, @lishatanay deserves an award for the most NSFW box... ever!
Here we go... I've mosaiced the most scandalous bits.
Unboxening:
Should've seen the stupid grin on our faces when we were greeted with that plush protrusion.
Awesome note:
And here we are:
A&E is Adam & Eve, "the nation's largest marketer of adult products". IT'S A BOX FULL OF SEX STUFF.
Thanks, both my partner and I thought this was really awesome (and hilarious)!
as I was taking those, our cat approached to judge us:
@trisk I love the addition of the Disney stuff! Such a great dichotomy.
@trisk I am totally jealous of this. (Not the
Disney stuff.)
@sammydog01 Maybe @lishatanay can provide a special Mehrican discount on products?
@trisk I am glad that you liked it and was not offended. I hope you and your partner enjoy it. I don't have a lot of stuff hanging around the house so I figured eh...what the heck.
@hallmike left overs from valentines day for my kiddo. Lol. The cartoons were mine because I am weird.
@trisk And "Happy Scrappy Hero Pup"? lol
@SColburn I knew it reminded me of a scene from something...
@trisk that is an AWESOME box…i clearly need to participate ext time
My box arrived yesterday. The giver did not include their username but I wanted to let them know I have received it. I hope to open it & take some pictures to post in the next day or so.
@LadyLeela That was me, I always forget the notes!
Just cracked open the box from @Nikodemus. It felt a bit like Christmas morning for me and my girls. Here's what was in it:
Note on cartoony body organ postcard with 3D-printed Meh keychain (VERY COOL)
More blank Body Organ postcards
Power Glove oven glove
3D-printed articulating fish bones
Putty in my Pocket Make your own Zombie (claimed by my 7yo daughter)
Map of Texas
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice Artwork
Arrested Development Tobias Dress-up Magnet set
Deadpool Plush
Kodak point and shoot camera (apparently broken. Also claimed by my 1.5yo daughter)
Family Guy can koozie
Mission Impossible III DVD
Game of Thrones Funko Mystery Mini Figure
Meiji Hello Panda Cookies
Simpsons Weird Al action figure
Bag featuring county tax statistics from NC
We have:
Buttonhole scissors -- I didn't even know that was a thing
Hands Free Soap Dispenser -- did this come from meh?
Crystal Unicorn Air Freshener -- so new-agey
Bud Light NFL Beer Glass -- husband is happy
Bud Light Music First Koozie -- always music first
Bottle Opener/Key Ring -- gotta open the beer
Electronics Wipes -- could be a meh item, not sure
San Disk Show Me Your Flash koozie -- sure, why not
1000 Piece Puzzle, Spirit of Flight -- more new-agey stuff
Operation Aliens Watch -- wish I knew a 5 year old
Steamboat Springs CO 2012 bag -- I'll pretend I went
Patterned Duct Tape -- very cool
Otter Box Phone Case -- might actually be able to use!
Square Shooters Dice Game -- love games, gonna try it!
Geaux Office notepad -- who doesn't need note paper?
Purplish Pink Beads -- Mardi Gras?
Plastic Clip thing from Jerry Nash's Body Shop -- no clue
Some sort of Chopper thing, I think -- no clue again
Fuzz-Away Shaver -- old looking and I love the name!
Teddy Bear w/ Butterflies -- kinda hippie-like
Stuffed Tiger -- sad little guy, looks dead
Ancient Civilizations Pendant (?) -- at first look I thought it
was Wizard of Oz. No clue, but more beads!
Thanks for all the fun @djslack!
@pitamuffin Glad you liked it!
@pitamuffin oh, and the plastic clip from the body shop is a sunglass clip for your car visor. I think it was more swag from a Mardi Gras parade.
@pitamuffin I remember having one of those clothes shavers as a kid. We used them to get the little pills off of our pillowcases, sheets, etc. I'm kind of surprised to see them still around. I don't recall having pills on my fabrics for years now.
@SpenceMan01 You must not buy sweatshirts from Woot because mine are covered in pills.
@djslack @pitamuffin Hey, that grater and Fuzz Away were originally from me!
@mossygreen No way! Two cheeses at the same time?? And here I thought it was just some old chopper. I shall treasure my new dual-cheese grater!
@pitamuffin I know! @djslack is probably kicking himself right now for letting it go....
@mossygreen @pitamuffin
No idea it did two kinds of cheese at once! I blame @medz.
Thanks ok here goes, thanks @Scolburn a quite eclectic mix to say the least.

Thanks!!!!
Lap desk
2015 Superbowl pennant
Dr Who book and tee shirt
Tea candles
USB Man
Caller ID speaker
Somewhere in Time DVD
Goofy Mug thing
Photo box
Power outlet
Empty ADIDT box
Cable Clips
Patriotic Tablecloth weights
A Fukubukuro bag
and something which I have isolated in 3 shots and must know what it is. It is an eye with a screw and nut and a male plug underneath @walarney or someone, please explain...
@readnj it looks like you could put it in your door in place of the peephole to creep out your neighbors. Maybe if you plug it in it lights up.
@djslack Yea didn't want to blow myself up by trying that, especially if it isn't a 120v plug. That is why i asked
@readnj That's a type of socket used for car wiring harnesses. Looks like a projector headlight; the part with the socket should be a bulb that unlocks if you turn it counterclockwise.
@readnj I knew I had a screw loose. Thanks for finding it.
@juststephen thought you lost your marble, not your screw!
Interesting that the originator of this little item has remained mum.... @walrarney???
@readnj Actually started to post, but thought the speculation might be more fun. @trisk has it right, but I think this is a prototype/mockup so I wouldn't recommend trying to make it work as a lamp. It looked to me like a giant peephole viewer so I added the eye and had it greeting visitors to my cube for a while.
@walarney Aha, well now I get it. Thanks again for the mehvolous assortment of randomness.
@pitamuffin after much procrastination here is the box of awes...wait what is that, lets just cover that up...ome
Starting with the very apropos card
Vanilla Creme Peeps - which were promptly eaten because sugar
Built NY case, which I didn't bite on originally and coincidentally I do have a kindle fire I can put in it, so win

More Meh Socks - Socks rule, because warm feet rule
All in all a quite epic box, you crushed it!
Oh yeah I forgot the yes....Borat Man-Kini....Thankfully I think? its still in the original packaging because the only thing possibly worse than a man-kini is a used man-kini. Though it should be renamed the therapy inducer, for both the wearer and wearee.
@Nikodemus how does owning a Metawatch preclude you from

@sammydog01 Try it- at one point, there was backwards compatibility for some Xbox games. It's also available for Xbox 360 as the Halo Anniversary edition (as part of the Platinum Hits collection). It's quite a good game- I'm enjoying it a lot.
And last, pens and notebooks
2 cute little notebooks
pocket protector
assorted pens and pencils
2 fountain pens and red ink! I will try these out as well.
Awesome box of stuff! Thanks!
@dashcloud Will do- my daughter has claimed it. She likes to kill people.
@sammydog01 If you'd like some action/shooter games, I'd be happy to send you some more- I have plenty in my collection. Just email me.
@sammydog01 So, I have checked and Halo 1 is one of the backwards compatible titles. See Halo 1's entry here for notes on what to expect.
@dashcloud Woo! Thanks for the game offer- my return address will be on the box I haven't put together to send you yet. If you have games you don't use anymore the kiddies would be amused.
@sammydog01 Your kids play Mature-rated games right?
@dashcloud They're teens, so they should be OK.
A travel toiletries bag
A can of Cold Brew Iced Coffee, while not a coffee drinking I do have family members who will appreciate it.
Napoleon Dynamite Photo Album
Command Outdoor Window Hooks – Appreciated…why do these things cost an arm & a leg?
A USA Commemorative Olympic Sports Medallion for Archery from 19996.
A miniature Buzz Lightyear figure
2 Chia Squeeze Vitality Snacks in Mango Coconut – I’m sure I have a niece or nephew who will take on the challenge of trying these.
2 Chia Bars – either @gnext2 loves or hates Chia
A Guiding Eyes for the Blind Tote with the cutest lab puppy on it
A Packet of Kool-Aid Pink Swimmingo - See comment about Chia Squeeze
Some department store samples for lotion, primer and perfume.
Thanks so much @gnext2!
@LadyLeela Wow - an Olympic medallion from almost 18,000 years in the future! That's pretty cool.
@hallmike That would have been cool. Sadly, it should have said 1996. I wonder if they will still have archery in 19996.
The catalogue and the medallion sound really cool! Great job @gnext2!
@Cation I finally shipped my box out today, so I opened yours. Here's what was inside:
"Large" VMP shirt
How to speak Zombie guide book
Wierd-ohs Build your own monster
Light-up noodle
Bitcoin Magazine
A moo-can
Ranch-Flavored Dental Floss
Meat doneness sticks
Calligraphy set
A deck of Bicycle Playing Cards
Fancy aluminum foil
Cincinnati Bengals Baby Stuff
Bluetooth earbuds (not pictured)
Protractor
Ruler
Compass
A frilly pirate apron
A classical physics page
A Feynmann Diagram
A USB Charger battery thing
Earguards to keep the creepy crawliez out
And an Ooma
Getting a photo was difficult since the kids snagged all the fun stuff immediately.
Thanks Cation! I think the ranch floss is my favorite.
@lumpthar What's it like flossing with ranch flavoring?
@dashcloud I don't know if I'll like it, but I'm sure the cats will love it.
I may have found the answer to lost socks!
Anyone up for a single sock trade?
Sorry I'm a couple of days late, but here's the lovely box with a note from @Nikodemus!
Worth the wait:
Obligatory photo of the inevitable anointing:
Thanks @Nicodemus, these are fantastic!
@SpenceMan01 I was impressed too!
@Nikodemus also it appears I am unable to spell your name twice in a row. :(
@SpenceMan01 @trisk The fish is indeed just a fish, one of the this looks too cool not to print, and is strangely amusing the way it flops back and forth.
@trisk I love the Star Trek pin. Very cool!

Not Pictured (Oops!)
- Something I'm about 98% sure is Google Cardboard (virtual reality glasses; I'm looking forward to playing with them!)
Enjoy the Google Cardboard viewer! It technically snaps together, but some glue may come in handy.
RIP Tiny Tabasco
@trisk All great uses. We actually have a couple old phones we keep around for specific apps and things like audiobooks. I spent most of my time in Texas doing a garage sale, so I brought the phone with me. I ended up selling it to a family that was getting their teen/pre-teen her first smart phone. She had a friend with the same phone and was beside herself with excitement. It paid for coffee, later, but seeing her enthusiasm is where the real value came in. Thanks for the experience!
Oh well, I posted in the wrong thread earlier, sorry Mehtizens. Here's a repost!
@mikibell Here we go!
Here's the goods thanks @mikibell Miki must have been snooping in because she sent ALL kinds of stuff for me, my daughter, my son-in-law and my grandgirls!
3 Body Warmers! (Camping!)
6 "Create Your Own Flipbooks"! (Great for Grandkids!)
1 set of 4 Glow in the Dark Stair Treads! (My daughter needs these!)
1 nice hanging acrylic photo holder! (For pictures of beautiful Grandgirls!)
1 set of Rand McNally message makers! (Great for a busy household!)
1 Built Neoprene Kindle sleeve! (Very Nice!)
1 pr Precision Touch Gloves! (Perfect for my girl!)
8 pkgs Wet Wipes! (Camping!)
1 bottle Spiderman hand sanitizer! (Camping!)
3 assorted college patches! (Nice!)
1 pkg acrylic fingernail paint! (Grandgirls!)
A box of Maple Leaf pancake molds! (Breakfast w/ Grandpa!)
A big ol' cable lock for an iPod! (no iPod lol)
A nice Wooden Spice Rack! (I can use this!)
A whole big tube of gum balls! (mmm Grandkids!)
12" Sun Garland! (pool party ready!)
A Jeweled Handbag Holder! (are those real jewels?)
A magnetic "My Week" list! (an aspirational list!)
3 funny business cards! (yup! lol)
5 Dove chocolates! (Yum! sorry kids!)
1 pr laser light show/fireworks glasses! (Frrreaky!)
A big ol' bag of Nerds! (Kids aren't going to see this!)
A cool "Twist & Charge" USB charger! (Always need more outlets!)
A roll of 27 exposure Xpressload film!
13, 7, and 6 months...my poor son-in-law is awash in a sea of estrogen over there lol
The clock radio really is very nice. I had to manually set the year, date and time and replace the back-up battery (I had one on hand!) but it's going to be fine. The alarms are a little soft for me but since it's going in the office it doesn't matter. People over on AMZN are lamenting that it's out of production lol.
You did just great with this guy recipient!
@mikibell Speaker update! Got a good one!
Here it is!
OK... So it was still too much to reasonably try to fit into one picture. Whatever. These last items are the ones that excite me most. I have a bit of an "As Seen on TV" weakness and I LOVE puzzles. (And these look like great ones!)
@djslack I hear ya, at least you didn't hear any complaints about a small wiener. (not that there is anything wrong with that)
@christinewas OMG, Drinking! And chess!
@djslack @christinewas It's not the size of the weiner (curler), it's what you do with it
I received a great box from @Sammydog01.
Thanks for all of the goodies Sammydog01! I had fun unpacking this box.
@glindagw Yay, I'm so glad you liked it! I was worried because the USPS tracking said "undeliverable".
@sammydog01 I like those Irk dolls, you're very talented.
@sammydog01 Sorry about that. They are doing construction on my street and the USPS delivers when they're in the mood (they have a line of traffic behind them every day now). My UPS guy says that he's lost weight from running to keep things moving. I would have been so sad if it had been lost!
@sammydog01 - That Irk is priceless! Best box ever.
@glindagw Neither rain nor snow nor heat nor gloom of night, but construction is an exception. I can't blame them.
@sammydog01 Hmmppff...we have 2 months left of this, I really hope that they figure it out! Btw, I didn't realize that you were the one who made the Irk doll. Much respect & I will post a better picture in the next day or so.
I got just the crap that I needed from @lumpthar:
Thank you @lumpthar!!!
@glindagw It's pretty awesome when something you need randomly shows up!
@glindagw I'm so glad you got the "Staples Staples" idea. I was worried nobody would get that one.
I'm happy you found something useful out of my junk!
The tiny "design chair" was a bit confusing for me, too. That's why you have it now.
@djslack Agreed, although it really just feeds my avoidance habits. Oh well, it worked.
Thanks for a bunch of fun, @glindagw!
@SColburn Ha, I don't feel so much like a dumbass now ;)
@djslack You almost had twins.
@Mehrocco_Mole sent me my mediocre crap a while ago. I don't even remember the date at this point. Two weeks ago? More? I opened it that following week and took some photos but haven't been able to upload or post for a while. But, finally, my mediocre reveal:

Some of it will get used!
@goldenthorn isn't that cutter a tie fighter cookie cutter? I don't eat mangoes so I could be mistaken....
@mikibell A tie fighter cookie cutter makes so much more sense!

@ceagee. And finally I have some time to post up the pictures. Thanks so much for everything. It was crazy going through everything.
Boxes, yes boxes, with requisite love from USPS
The note
Some of the other fun stuff.
This freaked my kids out.
Some VHS movies and a steamy novel.
Another VHS movie, this one with Mario van Peebles. And some random stickers, cables, and bookmarks.
Maple syrup and catnip. Not to be combined.
mmm. Candy
Jar opener. And goat picture to match the note
And the goodies continue from @ceagee
A shirt that fits.
A ps/2 mouse with a rollerball. Fits into the not old enough to be an antique, not new enough to be terribly useful category. Perfect for this.
More candy!
Pizza to go. Complete with fork for those too sophisticated to use fingers for pizza…
Bath caviar. I’m assuming I put this on my toast while in the bath.
These things. Not even sure what they are, so they must be awesome.
All sorts of random brochures, stickers, cups, glow lights and other fun stuff shown here.
It was well worth the wait. Thank you for sharing some awesomeness from the other side of the country.
@kphilippe Glad you liked it ! The pink things are sport lids for Sigg bottles. They can be somewhat difficult to find and always sold out on Woot. That said, you had to buy multiples and my bottle disappeared so these never were used.
The catnip is homegrown : ) Do you have a cat ?
Cheers !
@ceagee What on earth is that first thing and what is it used for? To eviscerate, um, a goat?
@Kidsandliz It’s an amazingly great little device to open jars. But you might be able to use it to torture a goat too. I hadn’t thought of that
@Kidsandliz I think the first thing is a gag prop. You wear it like a headband over your head and it looks like a knife is through your skull. At least that is what I did to freak out my kids.
@ceagee I don’t have a cat. Just 2 very large dogs. But I have friends with cats that may get a special present. Thanks again.
@kphilippe And where were these dogs on the night the cat disappeared?
@kphilippe You win the meanest parent in the “whole wide world” (to quote my kid) award for the day you did that. Of course to keep that award you need to dream up other equally devious things to do each day. Normally my kid claimed, when she still lived at home, I was the winner (for saying no, for making her do chores, do homework, etc.), but I think you earned it for that. (grin).
@Kidsandliz Well as I was doing it my wife was shouting"This is just pretend boys. Just pretend". But they were still shocked
@chacham Not sure. But the male did kill a bird for fun the other morning.
@kphilippe It also would work well to put on your dog. Depending on the tolerance of said dog.
@kidsandliz I was not awake and thought you meant something else. Yes, it is a prop or gag – good for Halloween.
I had a surprise when I got home from work today… A box with my name and address and no return address, shipped from Idaho.
Now I don’t know if this is the @anon or just a Mehtizen who would prefer to remain anonymous, but either way, thanks!
Contents:
-Shimmer Body Art Tattoos, which I may rock despite all the illustrations on the back depicting female wearers
-Duracell iPhone 5 screen protectors
-LifeCharge iPhone 5 battery case
-Xtreme Dashboard Pad sticky phone pad
-Soccer folding speakers
-Pet-O-Meter pet pedometer, currently on dog doing science (tonight is a baseline to see what she does all day while we’re gone)
-Targus Mini Coolwave netbook cooling stand
-Q-Pop Classic TV Batman figurine, Lootcrate Exclusive
-Funko Pop Doc Brown, also a Lootcrate exclusive
-And the piece de resistance, a Sonic Screwdriver Spork, also from the Lootcrate Time box
Thanks, Anon! It actually does include everything I hoped for–a surprise box of fun! And quality stuff too!
@walarney 4 months after this ended and out of nowhere I got a small package from you. Thanks!
When is the next exchange???
@Stallion Not for a long time unless another community member is going to organize it (or @snapster launches an idea along similar lines).
@studerc I imagine no one else has started one because you would need to be fairly visible in the community to have the trust of enough folks.
@studerc @dashcloud @Kidsandliz . To anyone who takes the time to organize it is much appreciated. Past ones, future ones, you all rule!
Put me 1st in line if someone is organizing now or during winter break.
@Stallion bring it!
@studerc @dashcloud @Kidsandliz, not sure why y’all are on @mention, but yea
posting a new thread (shortly) to get another exchange going
/youtube meh
@Yoda_Daenerys Lemme know if you want access to the forms, email and sheets system I’ve been using. If you wanna go all fucking renegade that’s cool too!
@studerc sure, that’d be nice, at least for a second onion - lol
