@radi0j0hn Yep, same here, still on the first one & it looks like new. Plus they work well. 19 more to go means it’s highly likely I will never purchase another sponge for the kitchen sink again.
@radi0j0hn I’m still on my first 2 as well (I swap them between the dishwasher and sink so I have a clean one at all times).
They are, hands down, the best sponges I have ever used…and I never thought I’d have feelings about a sponge.
I have 18 more, but I want to hoard them because I don’t think others would appreciate them nearly as much as I do, and discard them way too soon. I’m like Elaine on Seinfeld…”is this person sponge worthy of a forever sponge?”
@IndifferentDude@SnDMommy not in support, necessarily, but didn’t t swift ride a giant butterball turkey while naked to the tune of “I came in like a wrecking ball…” ? Seems like she kinda made herself a sex icon, cause , you know, it sells. Now all these adults are selling out her concerts. Weird. But profitable.
@IndifferentDude@qazxto That was Miley Cyrus. C’mon seriously, stop with this. Even if it was her that did that, it doesn’t change the fact that making a stupid joke about the size of her chest - which was not at all part of the context, remember - is out of line.
Odor resistant in this context is referring to its microbial growth ability. Silicone doesn’t accumulate a bio-film as quickly as plastic or other fiber pads. It does adsorb fragrance, so if you are using a fragrant dish soap it will start to smell like that dish soap.
@laurieslifeisgo@werehatrack I can write the daily deal price in lipstick on my bathroom mirror and post a photo but that’s not exactly official either. Unless they have something new then I apologize for being a dick.
@SnDMommy Yes, there is one by Mercatalyst, and it is just called Meh. Yes, it allows purchases. The only disadvantage of the app is that in the forum, some of the features for adding things like photos to a post are not supported. You have to swap to the browser to get those.
@werehatrack I finally found it, looks like it’s an older app that isn’t supported by newer phones, which is why it didn’t show for me in the play store. Fair warning when you ever update your phone, I guess!
@werehatrack Okay this is seriously fascinating to me today* - I have a Samsung S23 Ultra running Android 13 and it’s not available to run on my phone. The app was created in Jan 2021 and has never moved past version 1.0. However, there is also a dedicated MorningSave app which is available to get on my phone, was released originally in 2018 and is currently on version 1.6, last updated this April. I wonder what the difference is.
*I’m having health issues recently so I’m having to stay low-key (i.e. bed rest) and am prone to rabbit holes lol Feel free to just ignore me at this point!
@SnDMommy Looks like the app never got popular enough to merit updating, so it’s only technically available to the users of older phones despite the fact that it works on a lot of newer ones just fine.
@SnDMommy@werehatrack
I’m SO GLAD that Meh isn’t one of those damn businesses that nag you to use their app EVERY TIME you go to the site!!! I hate installing apps and only do it if it’s really unavoidable.
Scrubbers minus all built-in stenches would appeal to me more. I suspect that’s why the Citrus ones sold out first. It’s the easiest stink to ignore. Lavender? I’m outta there
I love Beekman products, but this seems really off brand for them. Not surprised they didn’t sell.
“We have super gentle skincare…and INDESTRUCTIBLE DISH SCRUBBERS”
Does the “Sweetgrass” fragrance smell like freshly-mown hay? You, know, the aroma that causes violent allergy attacks in some of the people driving by?
@werehatrack I can’t find definitive proof whether sweetgrass is related to hay, but I don’t think it is. I also can’t find allergen information on sweetgrass (although European sweet vernal grass is apparently an allergen).
@Doooood Yeah, aroma names that are vague and not really descriptive make me really suspicious, because there are a hell of a lot of perfume components that either give me a nasty headache or make my sinuses go into flood mode (or both). And “sweetgrass” tells me absolutely nothing about what the smell might actually be. I might have taken a chance on the “citrus”, but lavender is a no-go and this one is a no-idea, so I’m giving these a really hard and fast pass, with windows rolled up and the AC on “recirculate”.
@stazja01 When I worked for a place that sold those scrubbers and the pads to go with them, I learned that we did not dare ever remove those centers from the pads when filling an order, because the folks getting them often wanted them for use as hand scrubbing pads to do spot cleaning.

Those scrubber pads I got months back were insanely good. I’m still using the first one.
@radi0j0hn Are those the Jetz ones?
@radi0j0hn @sammydog01
Still on my first jetz one as well.
@radi0j0hn Yep, same here, still on the first one & it looks like new. Plus they work well. 19 more to go means it’s highly likely I will never purchase another sponge for the kitchen sink again.
@Joedetroit @radi0j0hn Thanks, I ordered a set of Jetz instead of these.
@radi0j0hn arent the Jetz ones made of plastic though?
trying to reduce my plastic purchases

@k4evryng That’s hilarious!!
/giphy side eye

@awk You know this means they are unnatural odors.
Still waiting for delivery from last time these were on sale.
@sstaver contact support while they still have some in stock
If these are ODOR RESISTANT then can someone please explain how they can retain the odors they are purported to exude??
/giphy confused

@IndifferentDude they have one-way-check-valve fragrance emitter diodes
@IndifferentDude Gee, maybe they get don’t just float them in lavender water to get the scent in?
I got these at the last meh off still ain’t processed
@gr8mick1 Contact meh.com/support and ask for an update
My Thanksgiving turkey has small breasts. I guess I can use these for silicone implants. And for cleaning up after the meal.
@phendrick Small Breasts?? You must have a SWIFT Butterball Turkey then!! I’d name him Travis if I were you!!

@IndifferentDude Is that supposed to be a joke about the size of Taylor Swift’s breasts? Don’t be gross.
@SnDMommy Sorry. Didn’t mean to cause any Bad Blood. Just Shake It Off, K??
@IndifferentDude @SnDMommy not in support, necessarily, but didn’t t swift ride a giant butterball turkey while naked to the tune of “I came in like a wrecking ball…” ? Seems like she kinda made herself a sex icon, cause , you know, it sells. Now all these adults are selling out her concerts. Weird. But profitable.
@IndifferentDude @qazxto @SnDMommy I’m gonna need a source for the turkey thing. If it’s true I absolutely need to see it.
@IndifferentDude @qazxto That was Miley Cyrus. C’mon seriously, stop with this. Even if it was her that did that, it doesn’t change the fact that making a stupid joke about the size of her chest - which was not at all part of the context, remember - is out of line.
And if you want to know a price comparison then….? Go GOOGLE IT MOTHER F’R
@bugger And the link provided for googling it just coughs up a hairball of videos that are mostly demos and shopping channel bull.
I like the stink, I actually would want extra stink power.

Morningsave has a 6-pack for $10 if you don’t need a dozen or have a coupon. (I both don’t need a dozen and have a coupon so score!)
@sammydog01 - thanks for this! Just ordered 6 off Morningsave
What is the actual size of these things?
Hmmm, phone app says $9, but it’s $18. A bit misleading to say the least.
@laurieslifeisgo It’s $9 apiece because it’s a pick two, that’s how it totals on purchase. And Meh doesn’t have an app.
@laurieslifeisgo @sammydog01 Meh has an app. For Android, at least. I’m using it now.
@laurieslifeisgo @werehatrack I can write the daily deal price in lipstick on my bathroom mirror and post a photo but that’s not exactly official either. Unless they have something new then I apologize for being a dick.
@laurieslifeisgo @sammydog01 @werehatrack Is the app actually official? I can’t find a mention of it here on meh.com and it looks pretty dang sketchy.
@werehatrack you mean the “open source, unofficial app” by Commit 451, “You can’t login in. You can’t buy.” Or is there another one by mercatalyst?
Wait, is there something Android can do that iPhone can’t!
@SnDMommy Yes, there is one by Mercatalyst, and it is just called Meh. Yes, it allows purchases. The only disadvantage of the app is that in the forum, some of the features for adding things like photos to a post are not supported. You have to swap to the browser to get those.

@SnDMommy My Pixel 7 Pro didn’t complain about it, running Android 14.

That…that write up hurt my soul. It just kept getting worse and now I’m going to curl up and cry for awhile.
@azfang That’s why there’s football on Thanksgiving.
@azfang That scenario is why I am glad that I have no close family within a day’s drive, and none who want to stage big reunions.
@azfang @sammydog01 Except it’s always the Detroit Lions.
Though in a weird twist of fate they may be doing well this year.
@azfang @pmarin Did you see there’s a Black Friday game this year? Better than shopping.
@azfang As an Aunt Lisa, I agree.
Worst. “Slogan”. Ever.

When i worked as a floor cleaner the large scrubber pads that went on the machines had a center circle you had to pop out that was exactly this size.
@stazja01 When I worked for a place that sold those scrubbers and the pads to go with them, I learned that we did not dare ever remove those centers from the pads when filling an order, because the folks getting them often wanted them for use as hand scrubbing pads to do spot cleaning.
Hm… sold!

/giphy new-narrow-weasel
Are these just generic ScrubDaddys?
Talk about a backhanded compliment–“ours takes longer to smell bad!”
Just got these and I am extremely underwhelmed. Mediocre for dishes, mediocre for counters. Scrub daddy is better in every way
