Penzeys Recipe Cards

Something about Penzeys recipe cards has always struck me as familiar, but I couldn’t put my finger on it, until today!! For some reason it hit me while I was reading Big Spices latest newsletter. They look like Monopoly real estate/utility cards!!! How did I miss this before?!?!?!?!? Am I the only one who was oblivious?

None so blind as “Big Spice” Bill who uses a classic capitalistic motif to shill for his spices. I guess there’s not much money in being poor but righteous.

I noticed the resemblance, but then I’m a Monopoly player from childhood.

Go support Big Spice, he still has those boat payments to make.

- @therealjrn Free Forward spice today. It makes vegetables taste less like vegetables. I may bop on over tomorrow for some.
